Remarks:
1. Make a backup for the current I-Matrix 400.
2. Do not delete any Ingredients during update for ERP linking. If old ingredient is not
used any more, leave it in the system or change it to a new name which will be used in the
system.
3. DO Format need to be changed after update.

Installing Steps:
1. Fix the batching computer IP address. One example is given as showed in Picture 1-1. Ask the
customer IT department for the IP address setting.

2. Set up ODBC data source.
See the pdf reference document (named as “Set up an ODBC connection to a database”) under
the same folder with this instruction. Pay attention to following steps during the setup:
a. In Figure 2, we use “User DSN” (showed as Picutre 2-a-1).

b. In Figure 4, for step 4, input Server Name, input Server IP Adress

c. In Figure 5, for step 5 of Setting Up an ODBC Data Source, click “Client Configuration”
button to set port number. Normally, the port number is 1433 (showed in Picture 2-c-1
and 2-c-2).

d. In Figure 6, for step 6 of Setting Up an ODBC Data Source, Set the Setting for “Change
the default database to” (showed in Picture 2-d-1).

e. Copy the “BatchingCom.mdb” into “I-Matrix 400” folder.
f. Open the “BatchingCom.mdb” database, open the four tables:
BATCH_TRANSACTION, BATCH_TRANSACTION_DETAIL,
ERP2Plant_DesignMix, ERP2Plant_Projects. If these tables can be opened, and have
data, the ODBC setting up is OK.
3. Update I-Matrix 400 system.
a. Update CBPGui.exe to the ERP linking version.
b. Open CBPGui, go into “Ingredients -> View Ingredient” (showed in Picture 3-f-1).
Change ingredients name in each location to the name required by ERP. Do not delete
any ingredient in this step, just rename them.
Ingredient name/code for water is Water 1/Water1, Water 2/Water2, etc.
c. Once finished, restart computer, and log into CBPGui, in the main menu, click “IMPORT
FROM” button to test data import (showed in Picture 3-g-1). If importing finished, there
will be a popped up message reads “Data import finished!”. Go into Design mix to check
the imported design mix. Otherwise, data importing fails, check the whole update
procedure and ODBC linking for the reason.

4. Update daily and monthly usage report format for 55 fields (see the relative instructions for
the operation).
5. Update is finished.
