I. OBJECTIVES (Layunin):
1. Define Biomolecules
2. Enumerate the different kinds of biomolecules
3. Recognize the major categories of biomolecules such as carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids
4. Appreciate the uses of biomolecules in our body
C. ANALYSIS (Paunlarin):
1. What are the word forms after arranging the jumbled letters?
Student possible answer: Proteins, Lipids, Carbohydrates, Nucleic Acid
2. How do you find the activity?
Student possible answer: The Activity is fun and easy
3. How do you relate each picture to one another?
Student possible answer: They are all nutrients
F. APPLICATION (Isabuhay):
Using an empty pack of a snacks that you usually eat supply how many
biomolecules that it contains
1. Carbohydrates
2. Proteins
3. Lipids
4. Nucleic Acids
G. GENERALIZATION (Paglalahat):
To sum it all, ask the students what is Biomolecules, what its 4 major kinds and how the body use
biomolecules
(Collect ideas from the students then concrete the statement.)
1. Examine the Nutrition Fact of a goods that you usually eat write all the biomolecules that present in that food and
write a narrative report on how nutritious that food.
