Nudi Setup

Nudi Version 4.0 (Build 4.0.0.6) Build Date 23.02.2004

Thank you for your interest in this software. This software is as per the keyboard
and
font glyph standards set by Karnataka Govt. This is a FREEWARE.

Instructions for installation:

-----------------------------
Double click on Setup.exe which is in Floppy or in the CD or you may create one
folder in your harddisk and copy the Setup.exe file to the new folder. Follow the
on-screen instructions. You may need to reboot the system after installation for
the Kannada fonts to appear properly.

Using:
-----
Double click on the Nudi icon on the desktop or run Nudi from Start| Programs |
Nudi 4.0 | Nudi 4.0. This will start Nudi in the editor mode. You can create a new
document, edit an existing document etc using this editor. This editor has the
unique feature of sorting as per Kannada Sahithya Parishat order.

If you want do Kannada typing in other applications, then click on the Nudi icon
(shown as
Karnataka map Symbol) on the toolbar of Nudi editor. This will minimise the editor
putting
the Nudi icon (shown as Karnataka map Symbol) into the system tray. Open any
application
(ex., Word, Excel, Access, PageMaker, Photoshop, etc).

Remember to use the font "Nudi Akshara" and keep the ScrollLock key ON (the LED
written
Scroll Lock will be glowing) for typing in Kannada.
