Walk -in-interview for Divisional Technical Resource Persons-Child Protection

Center for Criminal Justice Administration, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University,
Lucknow is looking for committed and motivated “Divisional Technical Resource Persons-Child
Protection” for implementation of a UNICEF sponsored project entitled “Strengthening Child
Protection System in the State of Uttar Pradesh-IV”.
No. of positions: Divisional Technical Resource Persons- Child Protection- 2 (Two)
Job Posting & Location: Chitrakoot/Jhansi and Basti Divisions in Uttar Pradesh. This is
tentative, may change as per the requirement of the project.

Tenure: Approximately Eleven months (till December 31, 2019).

Nature of positions: Contractual and temporary. The positions are co-terminus with the project
duration.
Essential qualification: For Divisional Technical Resource Persons- Child Protection

(i) LL.B./B.A.LL.B. or Masters Degree in Social Work/Criminology/ Sociology/Psychology or

allied subjects with not less than 50% marks.

(ii) Good communication skills, both written and oral in Hindi and English.

(iii) Proficiency in MS office, MS Power Point, MS Excel, use of internet, e-mail communication
and web based research.
Work Experience: A minimum of Six-month experience in the field of child protection/child
rights advocacy, in a reputed governmental or non-governmental organization, is a must.
Desirable qualification: Documented experience in processing of data and their presentation
shall be an added advantage.
Job description: The “Divisional Technical Resource Persons-Child Protection” shall be
working under the direct supervision of Project Manager and shall be their reporting officer. S/he
shall be coordinating with the Police and District Administration/ DCPU/JJB/CWC in the target
division/districts of Uttar Pradesh in successful implementation of the project objectives in a
time-bound manner. For the duration of the project, incumbent shall be required to stay at
allocated divisional headquarter, however, the job requires extensive travel and stay at different
districts in Uttar Pradesh every month.

Remuneration: (i) For Divisional Technical Resource Persons- Child Protection

Depending upon the qualification and experience, the compensation package may be in the range
of Rs.75,000/- to Rs.77,000/- per month. T.A. and Daily Subsistence Allowance for outstation
duties at fixed rate is also admissible.
