1. Scope
The scope of the procedure applies for floor painting inside the ATA sub-station.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this procedure is to identify, define and implement suitable and systematic
procedures for floor painting inside the ATA sub-station.

6.0 Safety
• Safety requirements for painting work inside the ATA sub-station will be followed as
per the approved MSRA, manufacture Specification and EGA/Hatch Safety
Procedure/Specification. Activities such as POV/LOTOV Procedures.
• The painter will attend POV/LOTOV /HV awareness training before starting the
painting work inside the sub-station.
7.0 Reference Documents
All relevant reference documentation related to painting work will be attached

• TRA
8.0 Procedures:
Obtain work authorization from Hatch for floor painting inside ATA Substation.
The painting work will be done as per approved MSRA and FT will follow the Hatch
POV/LOTOV Procedure when working inside ATA substation.
FT will ensure all people entering inside the substation must be completed the Hatch’s HV
and LOTOV/POV training.
FT will ensure involved people must use all mandatory PPE like High voltage insulated hand
gloves, ,clear goggles, ARC flash proof Coverall (ie .cat 2/83).
Supervisor will ensure all hand tools must be fully insulated (free from defect)
