Sub: Guidelines for Empanelment of Hospitals and Research

Institutes at Bases/Detachments

While empanelling the hospitals/Research institutes for Bases under

the administrative control of concerned regions, the following
guidelines/documents to be followed/considered and proposal
forwarded for approval of the Competent Authority.

(a) Hospital to have Registration with the Directorate of Health of the

Concerned State.
(b) The Institute/Hospital to have exemption certificate for perquisite
value for medical facilities.
(c) 24 hours availability of a Qualified Doctor & Nursing Staff and
emergency facilities.
(d) Specialized and Sound Medical Facilities for various operative
procedures and tests.
(e) Hospital has to be on panel of few State PSUs/Departments and
MNCs and other reputed Private Organizations.
(f) Applicability of rates either at par with other PSUs or discount/rebate
allowed on their published charges. in view of their inclusion on
PHHL panel.
(g) Payment to hospital concerned shall be made by the concerned
PHHL office and a period of 10-15 working days to be provided for
credit arrangement..
(h) Any other point which the committee feels of due importance on the
matter or considered appropriate by the Management on the issue of
empanelment..

matter, the issue may be referred at your earliest.
