Light nowadays does much more than just light up homes, illuminate
offices and floodlight buildings. The latest LED lighting systems are
so versatile that they can be used to produce specific color moods
to trigger feelings, create visual stimuli and have a positive influence
on our lives. The system solutions give architects, lighting planners

LED lighting systems from OSRAM support a large number of applications and yet are particu-
larly easy and convenient to operate. This is due to the intelligent coordination of all individual

Dynamic color changes in a shop window perform a different function than colored backlighting
in the foyer of an office building or point-source accent and orientation lighting. LED Colormix
modules accentuate the outlines of linear and curved structures, illuminate lettering with superb
contrast and display furnishings to great effect. The range is constantly being expanded as a
result of intense development work.

Optional accessories for simple installation.

Ease of handling and quick and easy installation are important factors in achieving an economical
total concept. There are therefore appropriate accessories for the LED modules – the universal
LINEARlight Track system as a complete unit and the CONNECTsystems for even faster connec-
tion of the modules.

Powerful and reliable LED systems require perfect matching between the LED module and
OPTOTRONIC® control gear. OSRAM has therefore developed complete solutions for optimum

Dynamic RGB solutions made easy with EASY Color Control.

Impressive RGB effect lighting applications can be achieved with the EASY Color Control lighting
management system. EASY Color Control is the simple and flexible way to create static or
dynamic lighting scenes. By configuring the user-friendly PC software, it is possible to program
RGB sequences from up to 16 lighting scenes with individual hold and cross-fade times.

Economical lighting for indoors and outdoors.

The LED Colormix product family can be used not only for lighting systems in homes, offices,
retail outlets and shop windows but also for outdoor lighting installations. The relevant LED
modules, control gear and controllers are therefore protected against moisture, condensate

The power to be creative.

Intensive colors can change expressive architecture into modern art. This is demonstrated by the light
cubes in Bedford Square in London, each equipped with twelve LINEARlight-DRAGON® Colormix. The
elegant RGB batten luminaires create a pleasant atmosphere, in which visitors to the local restaurants
and cafés can relax and enjoy themselves.

To create a particularly uniform lighting
effect, the IPx5 RGB LED chain con-
sists of six metal core boards, each with
four high-power Golden DRAGON
Argus LEDs. The light is emitted at the
side, mixing the maximum number of
light sources. Large surfaces are there-
fore uniformly lit, and scatter can be
compensated. These benefits mean
that the DRAGONchain® Colormix basic
and overall modules are perfect re-
placements for conventional fluorescent
lamps in large light boxes.

COLOR-e-MOTION® Flex for example can be used to create colored accent lighting for straight or curved

To derive the greatest benefit from light in all its many aspects, a lighting management system is needed
that can handle dynamic lighting scenarios with a high degree of flexibility and cost-effectiveness. With
EASY Color Control, OSRAM offers maximum functionality, performance and convenience in individual
lighting control. The heart of the system is OT EASY 60, a combination of control gear, controller and
dimmer, which enables relatively large systems to be installed very easily. In combination with matching

EASY Color Control – the systematic approach.

Complex RGB lighting systems can be set up efficiently and conveniently with EASY Color Control. By
connecting several OT EASY 60 control units, which can be individually configured and synchronized, the
overall system may comprise any number of elements depending on the LED modules used. Standard
switches or remote controls are used for clear and simple operation. The following table shows the EASY
