CONTENT STANDARD: The learner demonstrates understanding of sports in optimizing one’s health as
a habit; as requisite for physical activity assessment performance, and as a career opportunity.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner lead sports event with proficiency and confidence resulting in
independent pursuit and in influencing others positively.

LEARNING COMPETENCIES: At the end of the lesson, learners will be able to:

1. Participates in an organized event that addresses sports issues and concerns.


2. Displays initiative, responsibility and leadership in sports activities.
3. Recognizes one’s potential for sports related career opportunities.
4. Organizes sports event for a target health issue or concern.
