a three-quarter pent ‘over the three center bays. _[t is wo Stories high, has a gable
weed shingle roof with three dormers across the front. ‘The wo end dormers are
pedimeated andthe ccater dormer is elliptical. Chimnays are both gable ends. An
cntrance porch, to which che semi circular driveway arrives¥ is on tho west wall.
‘The porches and pent are wood shingled. The house that faces north may or may
no: be early, I suspect it is 20th century, Ie is ts two stories high with aa internal
chimney and is built in stone. ‘The rear of the major house shows aa ff conter
pediment with a small circular window and a tall round headed window for a stair
landing. There is a barn arsla stable, ‘The stable is done in pointed stonz with

Mr, William McClure Lloyd gave 25 acres in frowt of the house to the
municipality of Celn for a part which is called Lloyd Park including
Beaver Creek and Copeland Run, ‘This prcperty was an Underground Rail-
Road station before the Civil Var. ;

Mary Louise Lloyd says the
Lloyd fenily purchased in
1910. She says the core of |
the house was built in 175
and that Mr. Lloyd built
the addition in 1910, It
was not made clear whe:
the core of the house is.

She further stated that
Gilbert McTivane was the
architect (1910 house?)
She also said that the
original house contained
four fireplaces and a cook
shed.
