● Worked alongside 4 co-teachers and families from the Harrisonburg refugee community to
familiarize them with the local school system.
● Planned and taught integrated, hands-on, creative literacy lessons to help young students develop
reading, writing, and speaking skills through authentic experiences.

● Followed and implemented pre-planned lessons left by the classroom teacher in all subjects for
