Note
- Recommend no connection with private network for safety communication with no

interruption BMCentral PC between and equipment
- Wireless distance between AP and Patient Monitor should not exceed 30 meters based
by open space with no obstruction.
- There should be no obstruction between AP and Patient Monitor with wireless. And
wireless distance will be change by presence of obstruction

should match the IP of BMCentral PC and “GATEWAY” should match

1-3. Wireless Network Setup
Note
AP(Access Point) has User Friendly Firmware Version and Professional Firmware Version
depending on nation. These two version have different setting route and you can judge
each version from Converter Setting dialogue
1-3.1 AP(Access Point) Setting : User Friendly Firmware Version

1) Press “Reset” button in the bottom of AP for 15 seconds, and AP will be initialized. (Wait until
DIAG LED light is turned off. initialization will start after DIAG LED is turned off)

8) Connect AP with PC, using LAN Cable

9) Execute Web browser and enter "192.168.11.1" in address window

10) After pop up Log-in dialogue, enter “root” in User name and there’s no need to enter
Password. Click “OK”
11) After normally login, dialogue will pop up as follows. Click “Wireless SSID & Channel ”.

12) If “Default setting dialogue” is popped up, set SSID using AP NAME searched by wireless,
“8” at wireless Channel and “20Mhz” at bandwidth on 802.11n/g/b. Click “APPLY”

13) After saving default setting, move to “Wireless -> Basic (11n/g/b)” and finish setting
encryption as shown below. SSID Name must be the same SSID Name, which was registered
in the default setting. Set the rest of items in the same way. ( WPA-PSK(Pre-Shared Key) will
be set by the administrator)

14) After applying wireless configuration, move to “WAN / LAN” and designate own’s IP. Release
Check on “Enable” in “DHCP Server”. Access Point’s IP will be set this step. After applying, close
explorer window.
Afterwards, when you connect again for AP(Access Point) Setting, you should not enter the
address [ 192.168.1.1] on the web browser. Instead, you must enter the IP address of the AP,
which you set previously. The IP address of the PC must be the same as that of the AP to the
3rd dotted decimal with the final dotted decimal being different

1-3.2 AP(Access Point) Setting : Professional Firmware Version

1) Press “Reset” button in the bottom of AP for 15 seconds, and AP will be initialized. (Wait until
DIAG LED light is turned off, initialization will start after DIAG LED is turned off)

10) After finish connection with AP and PC, open explorer and enter [192.168.11.1] in the address
window
11) If Router Password dialogue is popped up as follows, Insert User Name and Password and
Click “Change Password”. User Name and Password in here will be used when change AP
setting

12) After insert User Name and Password, Move to Setup -> Basic Setup, set as follows and
click “Save” button.

13) After enter setup -> Basic Setup, move to Setup -> Advanced Routing, set as follows and
click “SAVE” button.

14) After enter setup -> Advanced Routing information, move to Wireless -> Basic Setting, set
as follows and click “SAVE” button.

15) After enter Wireless->Basic Setting information, move to Wireless->Wireless Security, set
as follows and click “SAVE” button.

16) After enter Wireless->Wireless Security information, move to Services->Services, set as

follows and click “SAVE” button.

follows and click “Apply Setting” button.

19) Close web browser window once setting is completed. Afterwards, when you
connect again for AP(Access Point) Setting, you should not enter the address [ 192.168.1.1] on
the web browser. Instead, you must enter the IP address of the AP, which you set previously.
The IP address of the PC must be the same as that of the AP to the 3 rd dotted decimal with the
final dotted decimal being different

1-3.3 Ethernet Converter Setting

1) Connect LAN Cable between Ethernet converter and PC as follows, and Connect with Power
to Converter
2) Initialize Ethernet Converter by pressing “Reset”button for 10 seconds.

9) Pressing “MODE” button on the side of Ethernet Converter, move to LED front to
“Client+AP”
10) After finish connection with Ethernet Converter and PC, open Internet Web browser and
enter [192.168.2.1] in the address window

11) If Log-in dialogue is popped up, enter “admin” in User name and Password. Click “OK”
12) After normally login, check dialogue as “Client +AP MODE” Setting dialogue. And Click
“Next”

13) If client setting dialogue is came out, set encoded information of AP and Channel same
with AP Setting. And click “Search”.

14) Select AP which you want to connect in the retrieved wireless AP and click “NEXT” (AP
displays SSID value which registered at the time of set up AP)
15) No change on wireless default setting dialogue, and click “NEXT”

16) Check “Wireless security setting”screen same with AP encoded information. If not, modify
to equal information and click “NEXT”
17) If “Setting Wizard”screen is came out, click “Apply” button and click OK.

18) Apply setting as follows, wait until finish restarting
19) After restarting, Log-in dialogue is popped up as follows. Then, separate Converter from PC
and connect to Patient Monitor
