Dear Professors, Colleagues and friends,

On behalf of Department of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Universitas Indonesia

– RSUP Persahabatan, it is my great pleasure to invite you to join us in Jakarta, Indonesia for the
annual event of the 16 Scientific Respiratory Medicine Meeting, Pertemuan Ilmiah
Pulmonologi dan Kedokteran Respirasi (PIPKRA) 2019 on February 5-9, 2019

PIPKRA is the largest respiratory annual meeting in Indonesia which convene about up to
1.500 participant from all over Indonesia and the country nearby. This meeting will provide the
most up-to-date topics in pulmonary and respiratory medicine.

With the theme of this year “Exploring The Innovation in Pulmonary and Respiratory
Medicine”, we would like and focus to facilitate young researchers to publish their research and
innovation to all participant so it will generally increase the interest for others to conduct the
research in the field of pulmonology and respiratory medicine. This purpose will be held in the
form of oral and poster presentation.

We will cover the topics of asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, interventional
pulmonology, lung cancer, lung function, lung mycosis, occupational lung disease, obstructive
sleep apnea, pneumonia respiratory care, respiratory critical care, sepsis, smoking cessation,
tuberculosis, pulmonary hypertension and etc.

We are developing an attractive program with enhanced scientific and educational

sessions to explore the latest developments, medical advances, cutting edge treatments, and
breakthroughs in the management of respiratory illnesses. The program consist of
postgraduate course, workshop and symposium.

Together with all our staff, we are working hard to bring you an excellent programme that
addresses the needs of all respiratory professionals from scientist to clinician and all health
professional.

We look forward to meeting you in the congress to achieve the breath and depth of
scientific exchange that we aim to achieve and to promote clinical excellence in the field of
pulmonology and respiratory medicine.
