Mechanical Design Engineer

Essential Technical Skills / Knowledge :
· Expertise in 3D Modeling and Parametric Detailing, Family Tables.
· Expertise in Creo, Autocad, Hands on experience on Product Development Environment
· Basic knowledge of G D & T.
· Basic knowledge in Drafting Standards especially ASME 14.5M, DIN, BSS, etc
· Knowledge of Engineering Change Request and Engineering change order
implementation
· Have understanding on Different Manufacturing Processes like Plastic Injection Molding,
Metal Parts Machining, Casting, sheet metal process, joining methodologies (crimpling,
welding, brazing, soldering), potting.

Summary of Responsibilities ;-
Primary Responsibility :-
· Primary responsibility to Support the NPI Design Team with concept modeling in Pro/E,
create detailed drawing,
· Modification of existing Models and drawings
· Modifying legacy drawings through Raster Editing tool or conversion.
· Implementing the ECRO, Redline Markups and implementing it with all the necessary
approvals.
· Co-ordination & Follow-up with Project Leads, Design Engineers, Manufacturing
Engineers and cross teams for day to day project activities.
· Responsible and Accountable for Quality Drawings
 Secondary Responsibility :-
· Support the Design team in arriving the concept modeling in Pro/E, AutoCAD for all the
S&C Product Lines.
