Activity Title: Yuletide Prince and Princess Contest

Venue: Cabuynan Elem. School
Participants: Parents, teachers, pupils
Program Description: CES had a money contest for the perimeter height extension.
Objective: To have a money contest for the perimeter height extension.
Brief Narrative Report: The CES had a money contest. This was a quota type where in every
contestant should give three thousand pesos only for the school but the contestant who will
have the biggest amount of money will be the one to win. The winners were Magella Nove P.
Lipayon (princess) and Wil Anthony C. Robedillo (prince). CES was able to raised P72,000.00
pesos. The process was for the perimeter height extension.
Challenges Encountered: there was a commotion during the counting because one of the
reprimanded another parent when she puts an additional amount inside their box even if it was
already close. Good that there were policemen who pacified the parent because she was very
angry.
Participants Feedback: Every parents and pupils were happy because all of the contestants
were given awards like trophies, sash and bouquet.
Suggestion: Parents didn’t want the “quota type” contest because for them it was just bragging
or show-off for their money. They chose the ordinary/common contest where in the contestant
who will have the biggest money will be the one to win. The school agreed to their suggestion
so this will be followed for the next contest.

Activity Title: Barya sa Bote
Date: Oct. 2017
Venue: Cabuynan Elem. School
Participants: Parents, teachers, scouters
Program Description: Barya sa Bote contest is a money contest in which the owner of the
bottle who will have the biggest amount of coins inside will be the winner.
Objective: To have raise fund for scout’s banner (Service, Kawan, Junior, and Star scouts)
Brief Narrative Report: The scouters particularly the boy scouts, girl scouts, star and kab scouts
selected each contestant for ”Barya sa Bote” for the scouters need new banners. Each
scouters helped their contestants. When the teachers counted the money the results were the
following. The boy scouts contestant Wil Anthony C. Robedillo got (P1,176.00) one thousand
one hundred seventy-six pesos. The star scouts contestant Mary Joy Lonzaga got (P803.00)
eight hundred three pesos. Zephania Faith Nagpacan, the contestants of the girl scouts was
able to raise (P43O.OO) four hundred thirty pesos and the last was the Kab scouts contestant
Clint John Dancel with the money amounting to (P278.00) two hundred seventy-eight pesos
only. The total amount raised was P2,687.75 two thousand six hundred eighty- seven pesos and
seventy-five centavos. The money was used for buying new banners.
Challenges Encountered: Pupils specially the candidates want to put paper bills inside the
bottles because they had a hard time changing their paper bills to coins. They were
reprimanded by the teachers because the title of the contest was “Barya sa Bote not papel sa
bote . Some were offended because they wanted to win.
Participants Feedback: Other pupils went out of the school premises so they could have plenty
of coins for their bottle. They said they enjoyed asking other people to put coins so the school
can raise bigger amount.
Suggestion: Some parents suggested that starting the first day of October scouters should be
given bottles so the school could raise bigger amount.
