Why did you choose these strategies/methods?

-These methods were chosen because this lesson will involve some discussion,
questioning. The lesson will also have reflection and responces to wrap up Othello. There
will also be instruction and some lecture to transistion to the Othello project, which
students will have to listen and follow direction to deside groups for video project.
How will you group students for instruction?

-Students will be grouped by skill level and work production.

List below your activities/steps including how you activate background knowledge, gain
student attention (set induction), demonstrate processes and desired outcomes (modeling,
guided practice, independent practice), and bring closure to the lesson. Also, articulate
how you will evaluate your lesson/determine if student learning occurred.
Activity/Step Time Allocated
-8:50am: Students come in and sit in seats, 10 mins
bellwork is passed out. (Students will fill
out a word chart on characters from Othello
as we start our wrap up).

-9:00am: Go over bellwork and have 10 mins


students share out what they put on their
sheet for bellwork.

-9:15am: Introduce Othello Video project. 20 mins


Go over requirements and allow students to
ask questions about project.

-9:35am: kahoot or jeperdy wrap-up 10 mins

Class Period is 50mins.
