Introduction
Pyongyang, 6th August 2018:
Greetings and salutations too all the well wishers of the Korean republic. We are
overjoyed to bring you the news that our great nation is finally being united into a single
great nation. This was only possible due to the successful military campaign which
started on the 1st of August and ended in the 4th of August after the surrender by
Commander in chief of the South Korean Army Moon Jae-In.
The dreams and hopes of all the Korean people have finally been fulfilled by our
glorious leader Kim jong-un. This day marks and end of hostility and tension between
our country men and a beginning together to a better future for our future generation.
Although our great nation was divided 73 years ago (Korea was divided in 1945AD) the
same blood runs in our veins and we are proud people of the same nation divided by the
greed of foreigners we shall unite once again under the same nation. The war for
reunification although short has cost us with many martyrs who fought for the sake of our
future and in honor of their loss our glorious leader has asked for 3 days of mourning.
There were less than 1000 unfortunate civilian casualties during the first phase of the
campaign all of whom were also mentioned in the condolences by our leader Kim.
Following the surrender our glorious leader Kim jong-un announced an immediate end to
fighting and ceases fire which would not only cause unnecessary loss of life but also
damage to property and infrastructure all of which will be necessary for the rebuilding of
our once great nation. The borders will be reopened to public as soon as the Demilitarized
Zone is cleared of landmines and fences. The trade and diplomatic relations will resume
as soon as possible and necessary talks are being held between representatives of both
nations to address and help in this task. Although several years we have been separated
now all the Koreans can be happy and in peace at last knowing that their country is
finally united into a single nation.

BRIEF HISTORY
The history of our great nation dates as far as 4000BC and through the struggles of our
ancestors we have faced several foreign invasions, unrest and divisions but none as
severe as the one we faced after the second world war when our peace loving nation was
divided into 2 halves for the sole purpose of making us weaker and more vulnerable. We
the Korean people didn’t have any say in the division and were forced to live with it.
Generations later it seemed like we were 2 different countries even though we once were
brothers and sisters living in the same land sharing the same nationality and identity. Our
ancestors went through some of the harshest incidents in world’s history under the brutal
regime run by the Imperial Japan. After the brutal treatment of our people and land by the
invaders we were not allowed time to recover when we were separated into the North and
South Korea. In the name of freedom our country’s fate was decided by foreign powers in
the Cairo conference of November 22nd 1943. After the unconditional surrender by the
Imperial Japanese army the western powers refused a provisional government
reminiscing to the overthrowing of democratically elected president of Iran in 1953. This
is not only hijacking of democracy but also a serious crime against the people of a
defenseless state. Following the brutal occupation another international convention this
time in Russia was made to decide the fate of our country which was decided by a Soviet-
American joint committee. Still not satisfied with the result it was passed down to a UN
general convention in September, 1947 where it was decided that the Republic of Korea
was the sole legal government of Korea. The lack of change and foreign influence over
the country lead to a bloody struggle between our own country men who fought for what
they believed in. In some of the darkest hours known to mankind our country was torn
apart by great misery and suffering not even seen in the scales of any invasion upon our
motherland. Its scale so huge that 635,000 tons of explosives were dropped which is even
more than the total bombs dropped on the entire Pacific theater in world war2 (503,000).
The very scale of destruction and loss of life and property in this war was immense and
marked a new era of grief and sadness. With the lines drawn the once great and proud
nation of ours was now divided and weak. However the dreams of unification lived on in
our hearts and minds and now although years apart our dream of a united Korea has lived
on and finally it has been achieved under the glorious regime of Kim Jong-un.

RESULTS FROM THE JOINT NEGOTIATION AND RESEARCH

FROM BATTLEFIELD
The sudden and unexpected unification certainly lead to mass panic as well as confusion
on both sides as to the future of our nation. To resolve this matter a team of delegates
from both countries was sent out as soon as the ceasefire was declared. These teams of
delegates included military generals as well as law makers, economists, ministers of
various ranks and police heads from both countries. In order to study the aftermath of the
battle a separate team was formed under the supervision of the joint military wing and a
separate team was formed to discuss the future of the great nation.
The main goals of these meetings were to:
1. Ensure the proper ceasefire and withdrawal of troops from both sides.
2. Measuring the casualties of war and de-escalation of situation on the ground.
3. Swapping of both prisoners as well as bodies of the dead soldiers.
4. Necessary talks about the future of the nation such as rebuilding infrastructures,
buildings, hospitals, schools and orphanages.
5. Restoring peace and security to the nation.
6. Talks to restore normal life and future of all citizens.

Following the unification of the Korea through military intervention it cannot be denied
that violence was used and it unfortunately resulted in a lot of blood being spilled on both
sides. The brave sacrifices required to achieve this will ensure everlasting peace and
prosperity for our future. The casualties on both sides were combined to result in
4,00,000 military deaths, 15,00,000 injuries and 1,50,000 disappearances. The joint
committee has agreed that both sides will begin disarmament and bodies will be returned
to the location of the soldier’s family. This also marks a sad chapter in our history as
1,000 or less civilian deaths occurred during the first days of the campaign. The towns
closest to the former border were most affected as the former capitals of Seoul and
Pyongyang are very close to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). The fighting was mostly
focused on house to house urban fighting instead of the conventional war. This has
resulted in a lot of destruction of the city of Seoul. There was limited fighting in the air
and sea which has fortunately not seen any fatalities. No chemical and biological
weapons were used and there has not been any incident of war crimes according to the
rules of the Geneva conventions for warfare. The exchange of prisoners has already been
agreed and is taking place as this report is being published.
Search and rescue parties are currently deployed in the former battle zones to clear for
unexploded ordinances, landmines and to rescue civilians and military personnel who are
injured or trapped in the city. For this a joint 5000 people team from both nation as well
as 50 helicopters are being deployed in the city of Seoul. Both armies have begun to
withdraw from the city. Along with this civilians on the ground are being evacuated for
the sake of their safety as well as rebuilding the city. It is estimated that the process of
rebuilding can take up to 2 years.
There have been joint talks also to reestablish schools, hospitals as well as orphanages
across the country for further enhancing the reconciliation process. In this period of
anxiety and overwhelming emotions citizens have been asked to remain calm and law
and order restored. It has been agreed upon that a new constitution needs to be drafted
and a time limit of 5 months has been set for the new nation to enforce it throughout the
nation. The time limit has been set addressing the facts that both nations now united must
be governed by the same rules and regulations which will require time to administer and
enforce.
PRESS RELEASE
Following the victory and unification of Korea our glorious leader Kim Jong-un
addressed the nation in a televised broadcast and many tears were shed as the dream of
unification was finally completed. In this press statement our glorious leader Kim Jong-
un not only congratulated all the military for its bravery shown in the battle but also
expressed his condolences. He said, “The future of our country has finally been achieved.
After several years of separation now we can finally be a part of this great nation once
again. We must put aside our differences and remember that we were and always have
been one nation. The hostility we have must be the first barrier to overcome before we
can be united and strong. Hereby I declare that the words South and North should not be
used to differentiate our own brothers and sisters. This day would not be achieved were it
not for our brave martyrs I want to express my gratitude and sincere condolences to the
deceased and their families of both sides. They have lit a torch of a great and prosperous
future which we must continue to pass down to our future generations who may see and
find the peace that was lost in the previous years. We also have terrible news of the
unexpected civilian casualties from whom I cannot express in my words the loss we feel
at the moment. Let us put aside our differences and focus on rebuilding our great nation
as one. Peace be to all of you.”

Following this official statement a Press meet was organized at Busan which was
attended by major news networks namely Al Jajera, CCTV, Russia Today. Speaking at
the press meet yesterday (6th August) the joint committee’s chief Y.R.Moom Gaee stated
that, “All tension has been resolved and we are looking forward to a bright future ahead
of us. A few minor details remain to be solved however I can assure you that we are very
close to wrapping up everything as you see this is not a simple task so we are trying our
best to resolve this with our own hands. We all agreed on the first day that we were not
going to allow any foreign powers to dictate their terms of so called “Peace”. We urge
you to remain patient and avoid the fake news stories as much as possible as you have
seen there are no nuclear or biological or chemical weapons. We are currently having
talks about allowing UN inspectors on the ground to evaluate the situation for themselves
as soon as possible. We have also agreed to let Chinese UN peacekeepers if thing escalate
further however this seems to be an unnecessary prospect at least for now but this option
is also on the table. Once again we are proud that our great nation is once again unified.
Today is another day of celebration and joy.”

The lack of Western journalist was much frowned upon however due to the mainly biased
nature of their portrayal of our great nation we have not allowed any to be on site for the
press meet.
CLEARING MISCONCEPTIONS
For many people North Korea seems like a hermit kingdom where a dictator rules with fear and
punishment. However this could not be further from the truth. Looking back at what everyone
has heard and seen about our nation it is always presented by Western media and the previous
South Korean media and their “sources”. These have all been a huge effort to make North
Koreans look like a poor and failing state. As anyone who has entered into North Korea can see
we take pride in being independent and taking little to no support from other countries. The
prison camps we have are only housing extreme criminals as well as spies and infiltrators from
the previous South Korea. Although we have tried many times we have not been able to clear
most common misconceptions such as refugees frequently escaping our country and events of
brutal crackdowns on political prisoners. The refugees were mostly poor farmers brought from
Northern China and Mongolia who are bribed with a chance for better life in South Korea for
speaking rubbish against our country. Several propaganda pictures such as prisons which
resemble death camps of Auschwitz seen in the second world war and mass starvation which
also resembles scenes of post apocalyptic world are some of the more common images one can
find on popular internet search engines such as Google, Yahoo, etc however I can assure you
that these are lies fabricated by the CIA as well as former South Korean intelligence agency
KCIA (even share the same name) for the sole purpose of manipulating information to project
our country in a bad manner. This is nothing new as the past tells us how WMDs were found in
Iraq and Libya was “Liberated” by the west. We people of Korea still believe that the large
numbers of casualties inflicted during this war which mainly consists of innocent civilians and
unnecessary destruction of property and infrastructures by the Allied forces under the US has to
this day gone unpunished and will live in infamy in the books of history. The talks about use of
nuclear, biological and chemical weapons are also fabricated lies which have masterfully been
crafted to ensure that public support for yet another invasion and separation of our great nation
will occur. The Korean people are now united and have voiced their will to remain united as a
single nation.

CURRENT SITUATION
The situation on the ground has de-escalated and the tension of war is now gone the swift rescue
and rebuild plan is on phase as well as the talks to rebuild our nation are ongoing. Both parties at
the negotiating table wish to recontinue trade and commerce as well as business to help end
economic problems facing our nation. We have also agreed to decrease our military state greatly
as it is an unnecessary expense for both our nations and instead refocus this budget into
rebuilding our industries and our country as a whole. The Navy as well as the air force roles will
be provided to the previous South Korean forces with additional marines and pilots from the
former North Korean Army. This process of disarmament however is thought to take almost 5
years as the large numbers or arms and ordinates are hard to store and dispose of safely. The
heavily armed demilitarized zone is also being disarmed as soon as possible to ensure the border
which is a strong symbol of our separation will forever be removed from existence just as the
distant memories of hatred among us. Separate talks to hold a new democratic election to elect a
new leader for this great nation has also been agreed. The foreigners are allowed to leave or stay
as they so choose and the safety for all foreign nationals has been ensured by the Joint Security
Council of Korea. New flag for the new Korea has already been decided along with the new
national anthem. The embassies will temporarily be shut down and the ambassadors recalled for
new instructions as well as information regarding their work. The main purpose for the
unification of Korea was also due to the failing and incompetent South Korean government
which was being more and more dependent on the Western countries and influences which
aimed to remove Korean culture and identity as a whole this unforgiveable act has not only
caused a large scale abandonment of our culture and identity but adopting a Western style of
clothing and music hence due to the joint council has decided to hereby ban K-pop from this
world. (You are welcome by the way)

FUTURE OF NEW KOREA

The new Korea will not only signal a new beginning for us the Korean people but also to its
neighbors. We want to reassure everyone that we don’t mean violence and threat to any nation
but are a shining beacon of hope and light in this world. In order to address this a joint council
for Asian countries comprising China, Russia, India, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and
other 10 countries will be holding a meeting in Vietnam where the future of Korea as well as the
neighbors will all be discussed. A week after this a separate conference will be held with the
Western powers namely USA, Great Britain, Australia. This will follow a conference with
European nations of France, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Italy and Spain. UN inspectors will be
allowed on ground to check for any violation of cease fire as well as to check for any existence
of Nuclear, Biological or Chemical weapons on the ground. However peace keeping forces will
not be allowed on the ground.

A memorial site for the previous Korean wars of unification will be made in Busan and Hochon
for the remembrance of our great loss as a nation and to remind us that better futures requires
great sacrifices such as our fathers and grandfathers did and we should not hesitate to do for the
sakes of our children and their children. The people of Korea are proud people who have
achieved their reputations for their hard work and ingenuity. We must work together to show the
world that unity is possible anywhere and shine as a new beacon of hope for rest of the world.

The future for us might be hard and might take time but we must always remember that after the
darkest hours of twilight comes the brightest rays of sunlight and that the same blood flows
through our veins. The division must first be removed from our hearts and minds before we can
remove the barriers and divisions of our own brothers and sisters.
We should work together to show our unity so that foreign powers don’t attempt to disrupt our
moment of unity and enforce their own version of peace and democracy as seen in Iraq,
Afghanistan, Libya, Vietnam.

Ending this report in the words of our supreme leader Kim Jong-un remove the hatred and fear
from your own brothers and sisters and work together to make a better future for all our future
generation.
