General
The TÜV Rheinland LGA Bautechnik GmbH was commissioned by the KRAIBURG STRAIL GmbH
& Co. KG to perform the anti-slip resistance tests by by using the pendulum tester (SRT) on the
aforementioned test specimens.
Test results:
The test results were listed in the table below:
Test result
Measuring point Unit
STRAIL STRAIL
1 63,2 63,4
2 58,4 63,4
3 59,8 62,0
4 60,0 62,0
5 61,4 70,6 SRT-units
60,6 64,3
Mean value
62.5
Conclusion:
The anti-slip resistance of the railway crossing system STRAIL (innoSTRAIL and veloSTRAIL)
shows an average value of 62.5 SRT-units.
The measurements by taking the outflow meter or efflux meter could not be performed due to the
very rough structure of the surface (very high macro roughness) of the railway crossing system
submitted to test and due to the associated water discharge which was very fast.
