BWS centrifugals – over 100 years experience and innovation for the food processing industry

Continuous centrifugals

The application areas of the fully automatic BWS continuous centrifugals cover solid-liquid sepa-
ration of crystalline massecuites in the food processing industry. Most frequent applications in the
processing of sugar cane and sugar beets are high viscosity raw sugar and low-grade massecui-
tes.

BWS double continuous centrifugals – double centrifuging for effortlessly optimal results

Double continuous centrifugals

The patented Buckau-Wolf double continuous centrifuge system combines four successive process
steps: 1st centrifuging – mixing – 2nd centrifuging – melting. This type of centrifugal is the world-
wide front runner for the processing of raw sugar and low-grade massecuites from sugar beet
and sugar cane. The double continuous centrifugal is also used for white sugar massecuite which
will be further processed.

Batch type centrifugals

The application areas of the fully automatic BWS batch type centrifugals cover solid-liquid sepa-
ration of crystalline massecuites in the food processing industry. The most frequent applications in
the processing of sugar cane and sugar beets are white and raw sugar massecuites and crystal-
line suspensions in the processing of dextrose and fructose.
