I would to start with this question. How many people see the stars?

Well, when I was a child, I

always wondered what are outside and If someone asked the same question in another part of the
universe. In 1905, Albert Einstein said “Nothing could travel faster than light speed”. This speed is
so big that permit us to have a conversation without any problem. In fact, when people went to the
moon, they gave an interview without delay in the signal. The problem here is that we can’t travel
faster than light speed. To illustrate this effect, the sun is to 8 light minutes. For example, if the sun
exploded no one would notice until after 8 minutes. Our neighbor, Alpha centaury stars, is closer
to our system and the light takes 4 years to arrive here.

Relative theory prohibit that any body moves faster than light. Relative is an old concept. In fact,
this concept dates from Galileo Galilei in the seventeenth century. We need to make a reference
respect to which I move. The car measures the speed respect the Street, the plane measures its
speed respect the air, the planet respects the sun, etc, etc. So, reference is too important to
measure distances, speeds. Many experiments showed that light speed is the same in any
circumstance. the light speed is absolute not relative. Many physics were crazy and didn’t know
what happened, if Galileo theory or the light speed measurements are wrong. But, both were
correct.

The solution of this problem was given by Einstein as a result of the relative theory. It changes the
conception about space – time. The space, as well as the time, is relative. The order in the time is
not absolute making a problem with causality. It means that we don’t know what happen first and
next. The solution to protect the causality was that nothing could move faster than light. It is
absolute. People could travel to the past and watched the effect before the cause If someone could
travel faster than light. Also, Einstein made a new theory called relativity again. It was about the
gravity, using the equivalence principle, which explain if we let fall two bodies with different mass.,
both fall with the same velocity. The body with more mass not falls faster than the other body.

Exists two ways to move faster than light. The first is using a wormhole which is a tunnel or shortcut.
Traveling less distance but no one have idea how to do this. The second way is using properties of
the universe. We could expand or contract the space and travel faster than light but the cost is
negative energy and negative mass. The theory permits to do this, but its possible that not exist
negative mass. The science doesn’t have enogh information to have an answer.
