11/09/18 Hannah from Netball Smart came to run a
session with Yr 7/8 netball players about
how to warm up properly and prevent injury.
This was particularly useful for those
attending Koru Games next week and
learning the ‘power warmup’ which is an

isn’t too draining and focuses on the right
things.

Robotics session - Halswell School - 25/10/18 Sally took Ben and I through a potential
Sally Craw lesson for the students to learn how to use
robotics, was interesting for us to learn too.

31/10/18 Writing moderation slides Moderation of e-
asTTle writing between team and learning
centres to ensure we are all on the same
page. Guidance from Cathie Zelas.
06/11/18 Introduction to Robotics continuation of
robotics session, trying extension activity.
28/11/18 Cathie had a focus on literacy in the junior
school, with a comparison to English schools
and their programmes. Despite the focus not
being on our students age, it was very
interesting to hear about some of the
effective methods to introduce literacy
skills, as some of it would be quite beneficial
for our lower readers or international
students.
