Course Learning Outcomes
(Capaian Pembelajaran) : On completion of the unit, students will
1. have developed the special skills required to properly instruct children;
2. have developed strategies for responding to different learner needs;
3. have established the conditions which support young learners’ language learning- the creation of positive
teacher- young learner relationships and the effective organization of groups;
4. comprehend the characteristics topic-based course syllabus;
5. prepare topic-based lesson plans;
6. use teaching resources effectively;
7. comprehend how to assess young learners most appropriately.
Deskripsi Mata Kuliah : This course will enable participants to gain a full understanding of how young learners learn foreign
languages; teaching listening, teaching speaking, teaching reading, teaching writing, teaching vocabulary,
teaching grammar; learning styles and strategies; classroom management; topic-based lesson planning; materials
evaluation and adaptation; assessment and evaluation.
