- This bill of materials is subject to the ERICO Terms and Conditions of Sale, a copy of which is available upon request.
- Downconductor length quoted is an estimate only. Once the final route has been decided a precise measurement should be taken prior to ordering.
- Mounting material quoted is an estimate only, contractor needs to make a stable ground (ie concrete pad) to set mast and guy rings on if applicable.
- Above design is based on soil with unknown resistivity. If soil conditions differ, design and materials may need to be altered.
- Above pricing does not include installation charges. Installation will be performed by a general or electrical contractor.
- The above material quotation has been compiled based upon project specifications & drawings furnished to ERICO.
- ERICO engineers have taken great care in compiling this material list. However, it is impossible to anticipate all actual conditions, site changes, project addendums, etc.
- It is the responsibility of the end customer to verify all materials, quantities, and costs associated with this quotation

Warranty:
ERICO equipment is guaranteed for a period of 5 years after initial sale against defects in materials or
workmanship. The guarantee is limited to ex-factory replacement of the equipment at ERICO cost. Freight,
insurance, duties, taxes, installation, travel, loss of profits and other costs are not covered by this guarantee.
ERICO's liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective unit, or the return of the total price
ex-factory paid for the system materials, in its sole discretion, and in no event shall include damages for loss of
use or other incidental or consequential costs, or damages, even if ERICO has been advised of the possibility of
such damages. With regard to lightning, transient and surge protection equipment, the Purchaser acknowledges
that since the atmospheric lightning discharge is a natural process which can occasionally be totally
unpredictable and also subject to the statistical laws of nature with respect to ground density, peak current,
discharge mechanism, multipulse, wave shape and polarity, a guarantee cannot be made about the precise
operation of the lightning, transient and surge protection equipment. The Purchaser further acknowledges and
recognizes that lightning, transient and surge protection equipment can only be provided to a certain statistical
level and 100 percent (100%) statistical risk chosen or recommended, the Purchaser acknowledges that lightning
may miss or bypass direct strike air terminals or systems, or it may exceed the capacity of any lightning transient
or surge protection device. The final decision and responsibility for the statistical level of protection (and hence
risk) chosen rests with the user or designer. The Company accepts no responsibility for rare or abnormal events.
Notice:
The information contained in this manual has been derived from the latest lightning research papers. This has
been combined with the results of proprietary H.V. Laboratory tests and is supported by on-going field-testing
under thunderstorm conditions. It is important to recognize that lightning is a phenomenon of nature and
occasionally exhibits unpredictable behavior. Much remains unknown. Lightning is regarded worldwide as a
statistical phenomena. ERICO has a policy of continuing research and product improvement. ERICO retains the
right without notice to alter future design methods or specifications as more information becomes available
through the ERICO proprietary research program, or through worldwide field, laboratory, numerical and other
fundamental studies. Perfect lightning protection is virtually impossible to provide and certainly is not
economically practical. This is recognized in all Codes of Practice where compromise is made into the location of
air terminations and down conductors to achieve a certain cost/performance product. Inevitably, lightning
protection involves a statistical risk versus cost analysis. The equipment and design methods applied in this
manual offer improved performance at generally lower cost. However, due to the nature of lightning the
information contained herein is presented in good faith but no responsibility can be taken for abnormal/rare
events.
