INTERNATIONAL TEAM CASE STUDY

5 SOLUTIONS:
1. Change the following departments:
 Portable Computers: Cecilia ANDRIOTIS, Inge ERICSSON and
Adriana BERTOELLI
 Integrated Photocopiers: Hans GRUN and James LITTLE
 Mobile Office Furniture: Eric DUPONT and Brian LEGG

In the portable computers department Cecilia can help Inge to improve


her sales and also to work in team this way Inge can explain her ideas
to Cecilia and Inge could help Cecilia with the administrative tasks.
Adriana needs to be more consistent and at the same time help the
team to have a more energetic attitude. James and Hans would be a
great team, so James can help Hans to improve his sales because he
is considered the best salesperson and both of them are enthusiastic,
friendly and have a good attitude. And the Mobile Office Furniture
remain as the original.

2. Change the following departments:


 Portable computers: James LITTLE, Hans GRUN and Inge
ERICSSON
 Integrated Photocopiers: Cecilia ANDRIOTIS, Brian LEGG
 Mobile Office Furniture: Eric DUPONT and Adriana
BERTORELLI

We put James into the Portable Computers department because of his


hard-working and great knowledge in the Company, this way Hans and
Inge can have a good opportunity to be trained by him, so they can
reach their sales targets. We decided to move Cecilia into the
integrated photocopiers department with Brian because Cecilia is a
hard worker person and always goes 10% over her target, so she can
help Brian to be consistent in his targets and Brian could help her to
make good relationships with the rest of the team.

3. Fire Inge ERICSSON and the rest of the team remain the same
We decided to give a last opportunity to Inge so in that way she can
improve and accomplish her new target despite she has good ideas
but at the same time he hasn´t reach her target in the past months.

4. Mobile office furniture and integrated photocopiers help the


portable computers departments
Since 2 of the 3 members of the portable computers department didn’t
reach their sales targets we consider is the main root of the low sales
in the company, so with the help of the leaders Eric and James, that
always manages on time their target, can help them in the
administrative procedures and find out why are they not reaching the
sales.

5. Weekly meetings to improve the communication and respect


between colleagues and motivate the team with monetary
incentives.
Liam could give advices that he used to apply when he was a sales
person so the rest on the team can apply them in their respective
departments.
