A
creepy cold arose from the earth and the whole night
was queerly lit by a bright full moon, thick mist
pervading the grave-silent atmosphere. Wrapped in
the darkness of her room with penetrating moonbeams, Cassie
was plunged into a deep, dead sleep.

Just then, her eyes flashed opened mysteriously filled with

light but envisioning only darkness. Looking up straight, while
she still lay on the bed, she could feel she was strangely being
lifted up slowly. Shocked, she turned her sight downwards
beside her. She discovered she was eerily floating in the air still
in a lying position as though she was levitating, and to a
terrifying surprise, she could see a body her own body still
lying beneath her.

Fright was piercing her heart and she could see that her body
beneath her appeared lifeless. What was happening? Was she
dreaming? Was she still sleeping or . . . had she died? She felt
completely confused and troubled. No doubt she‘d just left her
body. What was going to happen now? She tried descending in
order to sink into her body back but it was impossible. She
only flailed her hands and legs in vain, as she still remained
levitating.

Just then, she felt an enormous force turn her downwards as

if to land on her feet on the floor away from her bed. But she
was only turned into a standing position her legs did not touch
4

the ground. She was still levitating. She looked downwards on

her bed beside her. Her carcass still lay there, appearing frozen
in death, wrapped in mist and darkness with a frightening
appearance. Cassie felt hot tears rolling out of her eyes. Could
she be dead just like that? What caused it? She didn‘t want to
accept that fact.

At the next instant, she felt the enormous force driving her
forwards vehemently as if to push her against the wall that was
in front of her. She shielded her face with her hands as she
closed rapidly towards the wall only to discover that she
mysteriously passed through it as if it was an ordinary cloud.
The force kept on driving her forward while she passed through
all the corridors, rooms, walls and doors ahead of her until she
got out of the building.

Immediately, the force drove her out of the whole

compound then into solitary town through streets and
alleyways at a very great speed, even faster than cars. By the
time she reached a particular street, the force stopped her
abruptly. She looked around her practically shivering with
fright and confusion and with tears coursing down her cheeks.

To her amazement, she was seeing strange-looking creatures

and beings like eerie monkeys, imps and snakes, all over the
streets and towns talking to themselves and moving all about
just like people do during the day. A greater horror engulfed
her. These were things that couldn‘t be seen with the natural
eyes, but yet they were all over—all over the streets. The night

5
oozed a creepy cold with silence and there was no human being
found around.

After a while, Cassie could feel the force lifting her again
and then shoot her upwards making her ascend so fast above all
the towns, swiftly passing the clouds and even completely out
of the whole Earth‘s sphere. The Earth receded downwards
from her like a decreasing ball and she could see all the clouds,
oceans and land just below.

She kept on ascending still, passing the moon and having a

frighteningly clearer sight of some planets, asteroids, sun and
stars too. All along her heart was pounding heavily as she
screamed with horror. She was praying this was a dream but of
course, appeared too real to be one. She had previously
wondered about and wished for the experience of travelling
swiftly, all over, like Barry Allen, the Flash. Now she knew
this was more than her call. She didn‘t want it anyway.

The force kept on lifting Cassie swiftly until soon, she was
being driven forward even while still being lifted up. This was
even faster again, all her senses and body became dead numb
and she felt she was travelling faster than light—travelling at
trillions of miles in seconds! She kept on passing distant
planetary bodies, asteroids, eerie-looking entities like floating
saucer space crafts and flying creatures, gaseous streaks and
particles, totally streaming through infinite galaxies of the dark
space.

At the next breath, she landed into a large room from

nowhere and then was stopped abruptly. Strangely, the impact
of the abrupt stop didn‘t topple her to the floor, but instead she
remained on her feet, standing on the floor now.

She started panting profusely immediately while she

remained frightened, looking round the room she found herself
in. She could feel her heart pounding so fast as though it were
about to burst. This was the greatest horror ever in her life. The
tears surged from her eyes. ―Where am I? Where am I?‖

Just over from a distance behind her, a man began walking

towards her and so she turned backwards to face him still laden
with confusion. He was tall, about six feet, wearing a gleaming
white cloak, had a beautifully-styled sandy brown hair, light-
skinned and very handsome and had piercing-looking eyes. No
doubt, he was must have been an angel who‘d come to
unfortunately judge a dead mortal like her.

He got to where she was who still shivering with fright

―Don‘t be afraid, Cassie,‖ he said putting one hand on her
shoulder.

Cassie almost swallowed her throat appalled by what she

was seeing. ―So I‘m already dead, yeah?‖ she asked tearfully
permeated with an immense terror.

―Well, er, technically, no!‖ the man answered smiling.

―I‘m not? So what‘s all this?!‖ she screamed angrily feeling

being pranked on.
7
―Your desires are being granted,‖ he said warmly with an
amazing smile that made him even more handsome.

―My desires? For what? I thought I‘m dead!‖ she said as

her heart began decelerating now though still panting.

―Not at all. Just want to make you see what you desired. If
you look down there,‖ he said pointing below, ―you‘d see your
body‘s still living.‖

Cassie looked down at where he was pointing and

amazingly could see her room below on Earth with her body on
her bed still tossing and turning—alive! It was as if she was
looking at it through a strange giant magnifying glass. Feeling
an iota of gladness, she smiled wiping her tears. ―I see.‖

―You‘ve desired to know so much and travel through time.

But we want to show you something even greater,‖ he said
emphatically. ―We want to show you Eternity.‖

―Eternity?‖ A wave of fear brushed over her heart and shock

over face. Thousands of thoughts flooded her mind. It would be
very scary seeing all of eternity—experiencing pasts, present,
futures, worlds, galaxies, deep realms that pass Earthly realms,
she thought. That could also mean she‘d remain there forever,
not returning again to Earth, spending all her life to experience
this so-called eternity.

―I‘m very scared,‖ she admitted. Looking down, she could

see her body—though asleep on her bed—actually writhing
vigorously with her face expressing an intense fright.
8

―Don‘t worry, Cassie. All these would be just in a moment.‖

He assured knowing her thoughts.

―Really?‖ Cassie asked feeling way pacified to take the offer.

After all, this is what she‘d wished for since she was very
young. It would be rarer than gold and would completely
change the course of her life. She took in a deep breath and
exhaled. ―This is what I‘ve really longed for.‖

―I know that,‖ the man said gently. ―But now I ask you: are
you ready to travel through Eternity?‖

CHAPTER ONE:
THE VISION

10
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Three Weeks Earlier

H
er heavy book bag slung over her shoulder, handbag
held by one hand, Cassie Odey—slim, brown-haired,
freckled—trudged along the pitted sidewalk as she
headed into her new Crowther University just ahead.

She walked slowly, enjoying the heat, enjoying the spongy

feel of her new New Balance shoes, enjoying the ambivalent
sights and sound of freshers and staylites trooping in and out of
the school also.

Filled with excitement, filled with anticipation, filled with

uncertainty.

Much nervous, too.

This was, after all, her first day in school and the resumption
day. An admission into higher institution she'd longed for for
so long since she left High school. And at last she got it. Poised
and ready to study the Divinity course she'd been given—for
four solid years, she would make it count.

Minutes ago, her dad, a loveable Mr. Ken Odey, had

dropped her off with his car and her younger sister, Jemima,
had also escorted all the way from Lagos, knowing she'd dearly
11
miss and won't see big sis for a long time. They'd all prayed for
her admission. And when she got it, they were extremely glad,
so they were giving in everything to make her college
experience a blissful one.

'Stay safe, dad, be there for us," were the last sober words
Cassie had said to their dad as he drove back and she really
meant them. It wasn't just because she was going to miss him.
It was because of more of the fate they found themselves in
with him slipping off right through their fingers, unfortunately.

An unusual type of intimacy actually brewed in their family.

Graced with a lovely wife and two beautiful daughters, Mr.
Ken lived with the family in a deep bond of love. Cassie, the
first born, was about eighteen and was five feet seven, cute
enough with brown eyes and hair, skin the colour of tan, and
spiced with a flashing smile that could light up an entire room
although was very reserved and quite shy.

Jemima, the second daughter looked so much like Cassie but

possessed her father‘s trademarks of courage and perseverance
and was a perfect extrovert. They were the unending joy of
their parents and helped fan the flames of the love that
specialised them.

As Cassie stepped into the uncharted territories of the school,

she was filled with an unusual uncertainty, much unsure of
what lied ahead of her in those four walls. Never did she know
that as she had stepped inside that school, an unspeakable tale
of mysteries and a life-changing voyage awaited her.
12
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

That first day in school wasn't how she really expected.

She'd expected the classes to go interesting while she made
new friends all around—cool guys and trendy babes—but it
was quite different for her. It seemed some of the girls were
just eyeing her angrily for no reason and a couple guys behind
were pestering her by just calling, "babe", all along. And that's
not to even mention how discouraging the class itself went.

When you're studying Divinity itself as a course in college,

you needn't expect it to go smoothly and be a rip-roaring like
other courses of the norm. There's nothing that could really
make it exciting to savour, except you were a fan of theology.
And Cassie was quite one. So, at least, she could put up with it.

The first lecturer came into the lecture hall that day
graciously, Mrs. Oreweme, she called herself, fair-
complexioned, donning a skirt-suit, also wearing a black wig
and looking in her early forties, and said the first words that
held the entire Divinity class absolutely spell-bound.

"At what time did time begin in Eternity?" The words came
out of her lips softly as a vast quietness pervaded the entire
lecture hall while all the students, about fifty of them including
Cassie, peered helplessly at the captivating female lecturer in
front of them.

What sort of confusing question was that? Could she hear

herself? If there was a time time began, how could you then
say it began? The minds of the students were virtually clogging,

13
trying to even understand the question first before they could
provide an answer to it.

Still Mrs. Oreweme pressed further. "Which of you here can

tell us what lies beyond Eternity?" She strolled gently amidst
the aisles in the classroom as she kept on asking. "When did
the Universe evolve? What happened before the Earth was
formed?"

No word from the students, instead, silence. A big silence.

"I need an answer. And I need it right now!" Mrs. Oreweme

demanded immediately. Apparently, the slight smile on her
face had disappeared quickly.

The students were still trying to comprehend the questions,

literally dazed. They were sure they had come to study Divinity
and research on topics about God or stuffs about religions—
and not to come into a class where they had to answer strange
questions about the beginning of time or of Eternity or the
Universe.

A skinny scrawny fair guy had to stand up to give a

probable answer to the woman's bamboozling questions.
Frankly, he did as though he wanted to impress the people in
the class—a show-off notice-me guy, kind of.

"Time never began, ma, because eternity never did. Eternity

is just a continuous length of time, actually," the skinny
scrawny guy said quite confidently as he took his seat back.

14
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Oh, I see," Mrs. Oreweme raised her eye brows, quite

shocked at his response but more so at his somewhat obvious
confident ignorance. "And you are?"

"Name is Andy Okafor, ma," the guy replied with a smile.

Mrs. Oreweme shook her head quite disappointed at the

ignorance of the students. "Before you can learn anything in
Divinity," she told the students, "we have to go out of Eternity,
go back to the beginning of time and to its end—to understand
what Divinity is all about!

"I'm not saying we're going back to the beginning of

Eternity, listen carefully, I'm only referring to time itself. And
they are completely different dimensions, if you cared to know.
Mr. Andy Know-so-much Okafor!" she gave bad eyes to the
guy, also twitching her lips.

There was silence in the class again for a while.

Mrs. Oreweme gave a sigh that broke the silence.

Apparently the students had frozen, ruminating on what she
had said and trying to fathom what actually lied ahead of them
in this class. They never expected it like this.

"Scientists and fictionists talk of Time-travel. Why has no

one ever spoken of Eternity-travel? Just for you realise. But
since it's very obvious you guys know so little about the subject
of Eternity, there's no point in me beginning a lecture on it now.
Not that I expected you to know, anyways," she told them. "So,
this is what we're going to do."
15
The whole class became even more silent as she was about
to spill it out.

"You guys would break yourselves into groups. Each group

has a maximum of three weeks to go and make an individual
in-depth research on the subject and the secrets of Eternity.
And when I mean research, I do not mean Wikipedia!

"Go out of your way! Break bounds. Go places. Visit shrines

if you have to. Talk to priests and prophets. Conjure spirits.
Hear from God. Leave this Earth! Do whatever you have to—
but . . ." she then spoke more quietly, "I require and in-depth
and accurate account of the secrets of Eternity. I know which."

The sound of rocking hearts was the only thing

accompanying the silence.

"And I must add," Mrs. Oreweme said, giving a smile, "this

project is going to take 70% of your entire assessment for this
semester. So you can sleep on it, if you like.

"Meet you in three weeks' time." She stormed out of the

class.

By now, all the eyeballs of the students were nearly popping

out of their sockets, the voice of Mrs. Oreweme kept echoing
in their ears as a more deathly silence pervaded their class.
They were absolutely confused, literally dumbfounded. Were
they actually hearing what they thought they were hearing? All
that just to get an accurate account of the secrets of Eternity?
What sort of strange class were they in? Could she be joking?
16
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Impossible! You wouldn't want to joke with a project that took

70% of your overall score.

This was the first day of lecture—their first day in the

university. They never expected this misfortune. Why was she
obsessed with it? What did it matter anyway, if they knew it or
not? It was however apparent they had no choice now. As
inexperienced and naive they were, they would have to go all
around, just like Mrs. Oreweme had said, doing whatever was
possible just to get info on the secrets of Eternity—beginning
of time, its end and all that. And no Wikipedia allowed! How
could they accomplish such impossible assignment?

Cassie looked out of the window beside her, tears almost

running down her eyes, a strange wave of loneliness and utter
confusion now blowing on her.

"Where are you, dad? Come and take me back home."

A girl named Amanda

The sound of booming hip hop music from loudspeakers and
the noise of excited freshers drinking punch filled the park as
their first get-together evening party held. This was just three
days after they resumed and literally all of them were present—
those in Cassie's class were, at least. Cassie was present too.

She stayed with just a couple of friends all through though.

Making lots of friends quickly wasn't really her thing. She was
naturally shy and reserved though beautiful and brilliant. The
only friends that she really seemed familiar and comfortable
17
with were the four other students that were placed in same
group with her in that their Eternity course on a quest of
researching the secrets of Eternity.

Bassey, a seemingly brilliant boy was part of the group.

Lucas, one who always disturbed Cassie's line, chatting with
her every often, slayed by her beauty, was also part too. The
others in the group were Eniola, a naturally graceful lady who
had a greasy black hair with a bespoke side parting and a
beauty spot on her cheek and also Amanda, a weird-looking
and weird-acting girl.

Together with Cassie, the five of them were really poised to

delivering Mrs. Oreweme what she actually needed and they
were optimistic they really could.

Over the few days that they'd resumed, one girl in their class
who seemed to always so much attach herself to Cassie was
that Amanda. Same height with her but looking more fierce
and darker, Amanda had always taken advantage of Cassie's
solitude to stay with her and always tell her some of her
experiences. And she did again right there in the park while the
evening party went on.

Cassie didn't like it all at first, but she had no option than to
buy it since she didn't have any other friend around. Soon,
Cassie even became captivated by her stories. Because they
really were and seemed of peculiar interest to her.

Amanda narrated to Cassie how she had lived in Nevada,

some miles away from Las Vegas in the United States, when
18
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

she was young and she had experienced really mysterious

occurrences together with her brothers during their time there.
Amanda expressed she had and knew some friends still over
there who had access and ties to some occultic spheres
including the famous Illuminati. Apparently, she wasn't an
ordinary girl.

Those people she knew seemed to be very wise and could

provide any answer to any questions people had such as the so-
called Secrets of Eternity too because they seemed to have a
vast well of revelation provided for them. They were gifted
with the power of visions regarding any issue. Those people
had done paranormal things, they had made all sorts of
sacrifices and had sold their souls to the devil himself, their
leader, whom they always referred to as 'the gentle boss in
black suit'. And Amanda maintained she had strong access to
them, knew lots of thing about them, and had herself
experienced certain paranormal circumstances which were
really shocking to hear.

Could it really be? Cassie kept questioning as she listened

carefully.

As Amanda went on with her somewhat weird and terrifying

story, an usual fear was strangely gripping Cassie's heart, she
was experiencing a very strange feeling, those words seemed to
be echoing in her ears. At the next breath, a sharp image of all
what Amanda was saying flashed before her mind vividly—as
if she'd been actually there too. It was very shocking.

19
"No!" Cassie shouted immediately, covering her face.

"What's happened?" Amanda asked her, looking surprised at

her expression.

"I can't explain . . . I feel very strange," Cassie admitted. "I

need to return to my hostel immediately." She was very
perturbed and really had to.

On her way to her hostel that dark evening, she was literally
whipped with fear and filled with a heavy confusion. She kept
on wondering about what actually happened to her in those
seconds. She couldn't explain or even understand.

It seemed, somehow, the story Amanda was saying triggered

one of those mysterious paranormal experiences for her too.
The feeling and the vision flash. What was happening? Why on
earth did Amanda even get interest in telling her those strange
questionable stories? So far, her experiences in Crowther
University had been very strange. What else lied ahead of her?

From that day on, Cassie seemed to be plunged into a

dimension of unusual perception and experience. Many a times
after that first night, she used to wake up from sleep having
strange and questionable dreams, sometimes, fierce nightmares.

One other experience that seemed to saturate Cassie's life

was the sharp déjà vu feeling that came to her at some peculiar
times. Most times, before anything strange happened at any
place she found herself in, she used to have the strange feeling
that she'd lived through such time-phase before and
20
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

experienced what was going on—even though she hadn't. It

was quite frightening and very strange because it made it
possible for her to be able to know what would happen in few
seconds time at certain places she found in.

On one occasion, while she was in town, just out of campus

to buy a few provisions, she was having the feeling within a
short time that as though she'd lived through such moment
before and that something terrible was about to happen. Within
minutes, a ghastly automobile accident occurred—just few
metres away from where she was standing, with lives seriously
endangered. Cassie could only respond with a more frightened
heart, streaming eyes and dumbfounded mind.

That occurrence heightened the fear and confusion around

her. She had lots of questions. Had Amanda done any strange
thing to her that made her possess an unusual perception? Was
she already possessed? Was she a special being? She had sort
of wished for special supernatural and metaphysical conditions
before when she was much younger—to be just like an angel or
a superhero like the Flash, Vibe, or Wonder Woman. But she
could tell this wasn‘t a type she wanted.

How and why did everything begin in the first place? Why
were those strange unexplainable things happening? She
couldn't answer. But these things kept on happening for days.
Three weeks after their resumption, Cassie found herself even
increasing in them!

21
Tired of all what was going on by then and confused, she
felt it was best time to call home and actually report the strange
things she was experiencing.

"I can't explain them at all, dad," she said crying so much as
she spoke to her dad on the phone. "I just know they are very
strange and confusing, and making me tired of life."

Mr. Odey could only hum and think deeply on what Cassie
was telling him. He too was confused. "Does any other person
know about these things you're experiencing?"

"Not really, dad," Cassie replied. "I'm scared to tell

people—what they'll say and all. The only person who is aware
for now is the same girl, Amanda, whose stories sort of
triggered them."

"She might be the cause and she might not," her dad told her.
"We need to look into this very well. It's not a natural
happening. You need some sort of advice from someone very
vast. A cleric from your school's chapel might be a good option
we have for now.

"Have you been attending your school's chapel services?"

"Sometimes, dad," Cassie replied still wiping the coursing

tears from her eyes as she held her phone closer to her ear.

"Do me a favour, Cass."

"Whatever you say, dad."

22
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"You have to attend the chapel's service this Sunday—that's

tomorrow. Partake of the Communion too and make sure you
pray about this issue. Then after the service, you have to meet
with the cleric in charge to tell him about it. We need to know
whether it's from God or not."

"Alright, dad, I will."

"Take good care."

Certainly, Cassie took the advice frantically. The next day, a

very rainy and cold one, she made sure she attended the
chapel's service early enough and also partook of the Holy
Sacrament that was served. She took it with great respect and
surrender with lots of requests in her heart. Unfortunately for
her, the clergy in charge of the chapel wasn't around again the
moment the service ended so she had to return back to her
lonely room in the hostel just like that—dejectedly.

She was very certain the issue wasn't resolved yet. So she
kept on brooding. Apparently, the admission she'd gained had
been more of a trouble to her. The secrets of Eternity group's
assignment was still even on her sleeve and they were meant to
submit and present just the next day to Mrs. Oreweme but they
hadn't even done anything serious on it. The only thing they
had done for the assignment was just to make some researches
from the internet and the Bible which Mrs. Oreweme glaringly
would in no way want to accept.

23
Cassie was really bothered about it also. Her only prayer
was that a miracle would be carried out before the next day that
would help them actually deliver a correct account of
Eternity—according to what Mrs. Oreweme needed. And it
wasn't all about Mrs. Oreweme's request in fact. She also
desired to know mysteries like that and also understand how
the universe functioned. So she needed it. It was really
something she'd been interested in since she was little.

For the time being, those were the two major issues on her
mind that worried her and she earnestly wished they could be
taken away.

Feeling very unhappy for the remaining part of that day and
practically ignorant of whatever lied ahead for her in the night
and the next day, Cassie retired to her bed to sleep.

All alone.

Tonight
Creepy cold arose from the earth, the whole night was
queerly lit by a bright full moon and thick mist pervaded the
grave-silent atmosphere. Wrapped in the darkness of her room
with penetrating moonbeams, Cassie was plunged into a deep,
dead sleep.

Her eyes flashed opened mysteriously filled with light but

envisioning only darkness. Looking up straight, while she still
lay on the bed, she felt she was strangely being lifted up slowly.
24
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Shocked, she turned her sight downwards beside her. She

discovered she was eerily floating in the air—still in a lying
position, levitating. To a terrifying surprise, she could see her
own body still lying beneath her.

Now fright was piercing her heart and she could see that her
body beneath her appeared lifeless. What was happening? Was
she dreaming? Was she still sleeping or . . . had she died? She
felt completely confused and troubled. No doubt she‘d just left
her body. What was going to happen now? She tried
descending in order to sink into her body back but it was
impossible. She only flailed her hands and legs in vain, as she
still remained levitating.

Just then, an enormous force turned her downwards as if to

land on her feet on the floor away from her bed. But she was
only turned into a standing position—her legs did not touch the
ground. She was still levitating. She looked downwards on her
bed beside her. Her carcass still lay there, appearing frozen in
death, wrapped in mist and darkness with a frightening

The force kept on driving her forward while she passed through
25
all the corridors of the hostel, rooms, walls and doors ahead of
her until she got out of the building.

Immediately, the force drove her out of the whole

compound then into solitary town through streets and
alleyways at a very great speed, even faster than cars. The
force stopped her abruptly at a particular street and she looked
around her practically shivering with fright and confusion
again and with tears coursing down her cheeks.

The whole scenario happened. She saw strange

unexplainable creatures roaming about in the street, then she
was lifted up by the force until she left the Earth completely
and began streaming through the dark space, travelling at
trillions of miles in seconds—faster than the acclaimed Flash.
Soon, the force drove her swiftly into an unknown room where
she met a particular strange person in white—probably an
angel—and their dialogue began. He made sure he got her calm
and subsided from her terrible shock and fright firstly before
proceeding to deeper conversation.

―Your desires are being granted,‖ he said warmly with an

amazing smile that seemed to make him look more handsome
with his sandy-brown hair.

―My desires? For what? I thought I‘m dead!‖ she said as her
heart really began decelerating—though still panting.

26
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

―Not at all. Just want to make you see what you desired. If
you look down there,‖ he said pointing below, ―you‘d see your
body‘s still living.‖‖

Cassie looked down at where he was pointing and

amazingly could see her room below on Earth with her body on
her bed still tossing and turning alive! It was as if she was
looking at it through a strange giant magnifying glass. Feeling
an iota of gladness, she smiled wiping her tears. ―I see.‖‖

―You‘ve desired to know so much and travel through time.

But we want to show you something even greater,‖ he said
emphatically. ―We want to show you Eternity.‖‖

―Eternity?‖ A wave of fear brushed over her heart and shock

very scary seeing all of eternity—experiencing pasts, present,
futures, worlds, galaxies, deep realms that pass Earthly realms,
she thought. That could also mean she‘d remain there forever,
not returning again to Earth, spending all her life to experience

―I‘m very scared,‖ she admitted. Looking down, she could

see her body, though asleep on her bed, actually writhing
vigorously with her face expressing an intense fright.

―Don‘t worry, Cassie. All these would be just in a moment.‖

He assured knowing her thoughts.

27
―Really?‖ Cassie asked feeling way pacified to take the offer.
After all, this is what she‘d wished for since she was even very
young. It would be rarer than gold and would completely
change the course of her life. Everyone in her class had this
very assignment to deliver just in few hours‘ time. Here was it
being handed to her now. Why was it possible for her? A
miracle! Recently, she had been having terrible dreams. But
she could tell this one was a pure vision. Whether it was real or
not, she wanted it.

She took in a deep breath and exhaled. ―This is what I‘ve

really longed for.‖

―I know that,‖ the man said gently. ―But now I ask you: are
you ready to travel through Eternity?‖

She nodded firmly, really certain of this step she was about
to take. She was journeying out of time, beyond the
conventional phases of Eternity, set to visit different worlds,
ready to explore the power of visions. It was out of the norm.
But she wanted it. "Yes, I'm ready for the voyage, sir," she
smiled.

"I'm going to be your guide, all through," the man said

smiling too. "Please call me, Wisdom."

"Wisdom!" Cassie breathed delightedly.

"At your service!"

28

Cassie was really anxious. But she was trying to hide it. A
smile kept crossing her features. She couldn't really believe this
was happening to her now. It was something she'd really
longed for. And it would overwhelming to experience this
Eternity-travel itself. She knew she was really favoured to
experience this.

―We‘re going to start from the past. We're going back many
millions of years in Eternity‘s time."

"Oh, I'm really anxious, Wisdom," Cassie took in deep

breath again.

Wisdom nodded. "It's going to be really life-changing. But

now, just hang in tight." He took her by the hand and
immediately, they sped out of that room.

The swift journey to Eternity, never ventured on by any

mortal before, had begun.

CHAPTER TWO:
THE DISPENSATION OF LIGHT

assie and Wisdom appeared before a great throne
with a Person seated on it in a very large hall. The
whole scene was pervaded with enormous light.

―Our journey to Eternity today would begin with the

beginning of angels,‖ Wisdom said.

―Did eternity begin from them?‖ Cassie was quick to ask.

―Eternity never began,‖ Wisdom answered sharply, ―nor

will it ever end—of course. It‘s always been and is what every
other thing—including nothing—would be in.‖

Cassie looked practically perplexed and confused. How

could it ever be?

―The Creator and King of the entire universe is Eternity,‖

Wisdom said pointing to the great throne of light in front of
them, many metres away.

―But how could it really be . . . for something not to have a

time when it began?‖ Cassie asked.

Wisdom smiled warmly. ―You can‘t fathom that yet now,

Cassie. You still have a finite mind.

31
―Time operates in eternity but eternity is out of time.
Eternity, whereas, has always operated with what could be
called dispensations.‖

―It does?‖

Wisdom nodded. ―Different dispensations had come and

gone in eternity. But the dispensation that is of particular
interest to us is the dispensation that began to relate to us . . .
that began to relate to beings.

―Other dispensations in eternity that came by were just

ordinary with darkness. But later, the Creator established the
first dispensation of light. He called it ‗The Morning‘.‖

―Morning . . . wow!‖

―Yeah. It is the appearance of light. And it was

characterized by the creation of Angels."

"The beings of light!" Cassie nodded.

"Exactly!" affirmed Wisdom. ―He created them out of light

and brimstones of fire and then breathed His Spirit into them.
They were created to be His ministers and messengers to serve
Him and His Heirs too who were to come.‖ Wisdom explained.

Just then, Cassie looked at her sides and discovered a bright

amount of light glittering, unexpectedly. She looked behind her
too and immediately saw multitudes of angels from nowhere—
myriads of millions and millions of them—standing before the

32
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

great throne in the large hall. Soon, she noticed they were
completely arrayed round the great throne and she couldn‘t
even see the throne anymore. Wisdom had to take her forward,
away from there, closer to the front of the throne and looking at
the enormous throng of angels in the hall. No one saw the both
of them though.

―The Sons of the Morning!‖ Wisdom uttered smiling.

An awesome stillness pervaded the great hall as the angels

were arrayed in reverent awe, organised in their hierarchies,
before the King on the throne. Brilliant blinding light dazzled
all across: from the King on the throne, the angels, other
entities even including the walls and ceiling of the hall that
flickered like precious stones.

A wave effulged out of Him into each of them. This

appeared to immediately transmit life, power, wisdom,
cognition and the greatest gift, free-will, into them. Brilliant
glory of light and fire radiated from them, just like Him, but
differed in degree even among themselves according to their
design and purpose. Each had identity and self-consciousness,
powerfully knowing all what He needed them to know
immediately.

Cassie kept looking around literally astounded with a chunk

of anxiety in her heart. The angels were arranged orderly—in
different hierarchies. This seemed to be like divisions or breeds
which characterised them. Surprisingly and strangely, Cassie

33
could immediately identify the different ones as she looked at
them and knew their names instantly.

There were the Cherubim, the Seraphim, and others like

Ministers among them, while a special order of some leaders
among them was formed and dubbed Archangels—the Chief
Princes for the King. All the angels were placed in different
ranks.

The angels began presenting themselves before the Person

on the throne, in utmost solemnity and quietness. The Person
on the throne had a human form but was radiating a
tremendous amount of light and colours with fire. It was as
though the suns and stars from millions upon millions of
galaxies were woven as a living, pulsating embroidery of the
cosmos that cloaked His being. Some of the angels took turns
bowing to Him, as Cassie watched, while He anointed them
with coursing oil from His palms of flaming light and ordained
them for special assignments.

Straightaway, they began offering worship unto Elohim,

their Creator, as He had commissioned them.

Seven Archangels were chosen to always stand in front of

His presence. They were the ones to always launch His agenda
for dispensations, unfold mysteries and phases of His plans and
also execute special missions while commanding their angels.
Cassie seemed to be able to just tell who some of them were as
she looked at them. There were Gabriel, Michael, Raphael,
Uriel among them—all adorned in beautiful gleaming white
34
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

attires like long cloak robes, and girded with radiant wide gold
belts with polished bronze shoes. Their faces were very
beautiful—glowed with flaming blue eyes—and they had like a
burnishing copper complexion. They manifested a high
dimension of glory and power yet were all distinct.

The Cherubim were created to be the custodians of the

sacred glory of the King—managing a service of protocol.
They were to minister in the forefront of His holiness and
guard the glory of His presence in awe. Some of them would
be stationed to serve near the great throne, some of them in
charge of the whole Throne Room and others at different
places in the Kingdom while ranking high among the angels.
They had awesome bodily appearances with large wings.

In front of the Cherubim stood an Archangel, a major leader

among them: Lucifer also called ‗Heylel‘.

Cassie looked intently and knew immediately as she saw

him. ―Really? This was Lucifer, the same Lucifer we know
today?!‖ she yelled as she could tell, arching her eye brows.

―Yeah,‖ Wisdom replied, quite sadly.

Lucifer appeared very different, more glorious than all of

the angels as she could see. Possessing a stunning beauty, he
was adorned in beautiful gold attire that was decked with a
variety of precious stones dazzling with all colours of light, his
feet clad in gold shoes. He had large wings and radiated a very
bright light absolutely graced with unusual wisdom and
perfection.
35
―This was before he revolted,‖ Wisdom continued. ―Lucifer
was the first of the Sons of the Morning to be created, as his
name is and he was placed above all the other angels, the other
two next to him were Michael and Gabriel.

"He was dubbed ‗The Covering Cherub‘ for he was handed

direct access, among other angels, to the presence of the
Elohim, leading the Cherubs that served at His throne and
setting a firm protocol for Him, literally in charge of
administration.

―He was also created to amplify worship unto the King,

leading the angels unto an unlimited dimension of the King‘s
glory. Worship from his voice was marvellously blended with
delicate chimes and musical instruments that made melody.
Lots of power was given him.‖ Wisdom concluded.

Cassie hummed. ―No wonder.‖

There were lots of other Cherubs. Some appeared

differently from others. Some had four different faces—of
human, lion, ox and eagle—with four wings all filled with eyes
and more. There were also large wheels like green diamonds
that each had an intersecting wheel in them all filled with eyes
too, to operate with the Cherubim. These were called the
‗Whirling Wheels‘.

Seraphim were high-ranking angels who were fashioned to

perform the sacred ministrations and ordinances of worship as
priests to the King at the throne, literally burning with hot
iridescent flames of pure fire, displaying the holiness of the
36
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

King. Some also served as broadcasters—always broadcasting

the mysteries and glory of Elohim. And they were fashioned
with six magnificent en-wrapping wings with broad feathers
like that of eagles.

There were a lot more different angels in other orders and

Cassie could see their features. Some had glory that blazed like
fire, some appeared like water, some of them had wings, and
others in a lower order looked like normal men who were just
Ministers—the Malachim. But all the angels were stars of
Elohim, all looked like young men and were elegantly tall in
stature—the briefest might have been at least seven feet tall.

Just then, thunder reverberated in the hall and lightning

beams began flashing from the great throne. The whole sight of
the Throne Room became very strange and quite terrifying for
Cassie. Soaring at at an incredible height of hundreds of feet,
the vaulted ceilings were decked with clusters of diamonds,
emeralds, jacinth, amethyst, jade, and lapis lazuli, all exuding
their own glittering light and there was a wide dome directly
over the throne area that opened to the skies above where the
glory of the King on the throne ascended into.

A very vast amount of space was secluded in the far-apart

walls that beamed exquisitely painted frescos—hues of azure
and indigo, heliotrope, damson, ruby, merging into glowing
white. Massive curtains of flickering lights literally danced
across on some walls swirling an intense celestial aurora, while
the floor in the Hall was hard and was pure white marble
turning into transparent crystal that looked like watery waves.
37
This was something that looked unbelievable yet it was very
tangible and real to Cassie.

The great throne, which lightning and fire flashed from,

stood with burning wheels on a high platform and was
encircled in a kind of bright rainbow. The throne appeared like
shimmering gold blending into a tint of lapis lazuli only for it
later to be flaming with fire.

Seven gold candlesticks blazed just below, in front of the

throne, as seven columns of white fire, and in the midst of each
torch were the flaming coals of the Spirit. The two guardian
Cherubs who were ordained to serve at the throne took their
positions immediately, just steps below it on either side, then
spreading their large wings. The whole throne area was on a
pavement of bright and incredibly neat sapphire stones
gleaming fierily.

There were twenty four other smaller thrones surrounding

the King‘s throne and elders, the Ancient Ones, clothed in
brilliant white light with crowns of gold on their heads were
seated on the thrones. The seven Archangels stood together in
utter solemnity not far from their circle.

A sea of glass was streaming from the throne and some

Seraphs began hovering ahead of the throne echoing a chant in
the angelic language. At first the angels were sounding like
gushing waters but later, Cassie was able to hear them in partly
English and even Hebrew. ―Holy, holy, holy; Yahweh
Tsabaoth!‖ was the chant of the Seraphs. Their voices were
38
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

intertwined with melodious musical sound as they spoke and

they ceaselessly continued uttering it. Each of them was
covering their faces with two of their wings and their feet also
with other two of their wings while they hovered with the
remaining two.

There was an enormous carved golden altar in front of the

throne also, below the hovering Seraphs. It had four horns on
the top of its corners and a smoke sizzled from its censer
compartment on top. One Seraph stood in front of it
immediately ready to pour some substances in a golden vial
onto it.

The rest of the angels, in their multitudes of millions, were

set to worship Elohim. They surrounded the great throne in a
cascading pattern of enormous galleries on all sides as the
fronted rows were immediately filled with those who seemed
to be in the ministry of the choir orchestra. An unexplainable
majesty and grandeur pervaded the whole scene and Cassie
literally had no capacity to absorb the panorama of glory. It
was an incredibly perfect expression of pure royalty and wealth!

The orchestra began playing immediately, giving an intro.

Numerous musical instruments of every kind were made
available for them: lyres, dulcimers, pipe organs, fifes,
flageolets, pan pipes, cornets, shofars, horns, chimes, harps,
violins, piano, cymbals and lots more—much spectacular in
sound and design from those Cassie had seen on Earth. The
ones they used were very quality, stunningly made of pure gold,

39
transparent crystal, glistering brass, reflective silver and others
polished wood.

Together, a melodious song erupted out of them all as they

began worshipping the King. The multitude of their voices
reverberated extensively with a rapturous harmony comprising
of different variants of sopranos and basses that blended
perfectly. Lucifer was also standing, close to the orchestra,
amplifying the worship with his inbuilt gift immediately.
Literally, they had an understanding of the King‘s unmatchable
glory, majesty, holiness and splendour.

Cassie stood perfectly enthralled as she watched and beheld

the unrivalled beauty, excellence and perfection being
displayed before her in every single atom or iota. ―Wow!‖ she
breathed with a very wide grin filling her face. ―I love this!‖

―Yeah, yeah,‖ Wisdom smiled too knowing how she felt.

―So amazed at the sight, the voices, everything!‖ she

breathed short of words

Wisdom nodded his head smiling.

―Were they all made to sing so beautifully and perfectly like

this?‖

A loud laughter erupted from Wisdom‘s mouth. ―Everything

created by the Elohim was created perfectly in how He
wanted.‖

40
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

The song being sung by the angels was like an awe-inspiring

classical rendition with rare lyrics echoing all across and it was
stirring an ecstatic feeling.

―Father of the Eternal,

King of the Universe,
Through whom all things were begun,
In whom all things blessed.
We ascribe glory and strength,
And worship in the splendour of Your holiness
For You spoke the word and we‘re created

Bow before His majesty

Th‘ created of the light.
Glory to the One, yet Three,
Glory to the Three, yet One.
Countless, countless throngs
Bow before Thy throne.
Countless, countless throngs
Worship Thee alone.
For You created the Universe,
Eternity‘s vast plain.

Angels in their glory

Can never touch the flame,
The fire, pure incandescence,
That burns within Your name.
Let them gaze in wonder,
In awe, as they proclaim:

41
‗Holy God, though ever new,
Eternally the same.‘‖

―So they were created just to worship Him forever?‖ Cassie

asked.

―And serve Him and His heirs in His Kingdom.‖ Wisdom

added. ―But their worship unto Him isn‘t something they can
get tired of. From time to time, they realise a greater dimension
of His holiness and glory that make them fall in awe of Him
again—throughout all eternity. Stored in His treasury are
numerous precious matters that are laden with His mysteries,
principles and dimensions. And it could take one all of eternity
to receive all from even one of these awesome precious matters.
So there‘s a lot for them with their different functions.‖

―I see!‖ Cassie was amazed as she watched still.

The whole place vibrated by their thundering voices, with

different colours of light all over. No doubt the glory being
radiated was very enormous. All the angels fell to their faces
immediately, worshipping the King on the throne. Their
worship was flowing like transparent substances onto the
censer on the golden altar before ascending to the throne on the
high platform.

―This is pure bliss!‖ she breathed.

The King on the throne became very delighted. Though his

real features couldn‘t be seen, the glory that filled the place
42
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

confirmed this. More and more the bright light He radiated

increased and even all the lights of all the angels paled like
mere silver as they surrounded Him. He was understood as a
very great and majestic King for one to be in great awe of—yet
very nice, not to be afraid of.

Afterwards, all the angels were blessed by the King and

straightway, they went about their respective ministerial duties
in different places of Kingdom, working relentlessly and
perfectly with the wisdom He had bestowed on them.

―That was fabulous!‖ Cassie remarked.

―Sure it was,‖ Wisdom said. ―This is Heaven for you, Cassie,

the City of Zion. It's above everything else—seating on top of
the universe itself.

"Care to er . . . tour around here?‖

―Oh please, yes I do!‖ Cassie replied very excitedly.

"Alright. We'll also go a bit forward in time now, after the

angels were created."

Cassie raised her eyebrows, surprised. "How far are we

going?"

"Few years," Wisdom said, "just few years."

43
City of Zion
Wisdom wrapped his arm round her shoulders gently and
they walked out of the hall. It seemed they stepped into a
different time phase as they did. By the time they got out of of
the hall, Cassie discovered they'd been on a mountain all along,
unexpectedly. She could see other areas in the kingdom as they
appeared tiny below them.

―We‘ve been on a mount all this while?‖ Cassie asked

feeling enthralled by the whole scenery below and also by the
glowing clouds close to them on the peak and the fresh cold air
that was immediately washing on them.

―Er . . . yeah. This is Mount Zion,‖ Wisdom replied. ―This is

where the King reigns from.‖

The mountain was wrapped in thick glowing clouds at the

peak that were flashing lightning. It also beamed with bright
light and contained strange burning stones all over—appearing
to be very sacred to the King and characterizing His holiness.
All over, white eagles with gold beaks and feet soared. The
mountain was pure glistening white! It was the mountain of
Holiness. The Mount of the Congregation.

―Regularly,‖ Wisdom said, ―the angels would assemble here

again to present themselves to the King and worship Him when
they are summoned.

―What about other places in the kingdom?‖

44
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

―We‘ll visit just a few places too before returning here. We

are in the north of the city, besides.‖

A winding path of white soil and ice with large burning

stones on both sides led down the mountain. By the time they
got down completely, the beauty of the entire place flooded
Cassie‘s heart with unspeakable joy. No place on Earth could
compare to it. There were numerous beautiful trees, grasses,
flowers, water bodies, breath-taking and structures.

Just over in the horizon, towering buildings with tall spires

of gold and numerous colours beautified the planned cityscape.
Colourful mountain ranges of sapphire, crystal and gold also
filled the panorama with beauty underneath the skies and the
brilliant light that lit the city was coming from nowhere yet
coming from everywhere—completely powered by the glory of
the King as there was no specific sun.

Cassie discovered that the city was divided into two main
regions: Paradise and the Holy Place where Mount Zion was
located in. They entered into Paradise region from the Holy
Place and walked on a wide and white highway that was lined
with trees on both sides. The trees were very tall, flawless, had
beautiful leaves changing colours often and were laden with
fruit.
After a while, they climbed a decorated golden bridge that
arched over a fast-coursing river. It led to a road that appeared
to be made of gold which was transparent like crystal yet
reflective and solid with stone-gold kerbs aligning it. The gold
was pure, rich, dazzling and thick.
45
Later, they branched to the east to an extremely beautiful
garden that was filled with colourful fruit trees, plantation and
precious stones. Colourful birds were singing in the trees also
and there were crystal benches and large rocks on the fields
like boulders which people could seat on. It was a very
splendorous garden.

―Welcome to Eden. Welcome to the sacred garden of

Elohim,‖ Wisdom said.

Cassie was filled with awe savouring all its breath-taking

scenes. ―Woooooowww! Oh my God, this is so great!‖ she
shouted, her eyes nearly filled with tears. ―No one would ever
want to leave this place for a minute in all his life.‖

Wisdom smiled warmly. ‗True, Cassie, true. Earth‘s been

just a low miniature of Heaven,‖ he said. ―But by this time,
there was nothing called evil. It didn‘t exist, you know. Just the
holiness which the King radiates.‖

The garden had a grand entrance with its wide quality silver
picket fences that had gold ornaments. There was a nice aroma
in the garden and a cool wave was coursing through, diffusing
an unusual mental clarity, energy and love on those there.
There were pearls and other precious stones scattered all across
with numerous kinds of flowers changing colours constantly.

To the east was a distant waterfall, immaculate as snow,

thundering a hundred leagues down, reflecting the changing
rainbow hues of the city‘s horizon, with its sacred streams
46
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

flowing north, south, east, and west out of the luxurious,

tropical celestial garden.

There were cedars, oaks, pines, mangroves filled with flocks

of singing nightingales, pelicans oryx, jacarandas, blue griffin-
like birds with platinum beaks and talons and many other
orders of birds. Marble-white unicorns with golden horns
grazed on the pasture and tigers with other wolf-like creatures
lay sleeping beside lambs and conies.

The three top Archangels—Lucifer, Michael and Gabriel—

were there and had come there to just commune, worshipping
the King, and Cassie could see them from the outside of the
garden. One of them was seated on a crystal bench while the
other duo stood under a line of golden trees and large pearly
arbour that was covered with a roof of pomegranate vines and
silver fruits. In front of the garden also stood two fearsome
cherubs maintaining protocol into it. As expected, none of
them could see Cassie and Wisdom..

There was also a particular tree there at the centre of the

garden, laden with different fruits, which they referred to as the
Tree of Life and it was beautiful. Some fruits were gold, some
rich blood-red, some violet, others white. It was a tree of
fragrance that emanated the aromas of frankincense and
spikenard and the Archangels were allowed to eat from it,
receiving more of the life and nature of Elohim into their
beings.

47
Out of the garden after a while, Wisdom and Cassie met a
particular river called water of Life which was narrow, very
pure as crystal and coursed very fast with fields and colourful
plantation at the sides. The river had multiple branches—it
flowed all the way down from the Throne Room—while the
fields were like vast soft carpet grasses with beautiful rocks
strewn all across on them.

The city had great pearly gates and there were many
numerous buildings towering all across the city also. Cassie
could see one large white building that quite looked like a very
large medieval castle with high gold spires. It was the Great
Hall of Angels—where they met occasionally for crucial
meetings, worship, lectures and other administrative duties.
The duo walked to the Great Hall and began savouring the
lovely sights of incredible architectural design, spatial
arrangement and even the interior design also.

Not far from the hall was a striking display of other

numerous buildings of different designs on a vast piece of land.
It was looking like a planned different city and a melodious
sound of music was resounding softly from it. The numerous
buildings appeared to serve as bases for the different angelic
ministries from which they could perform their services.
Schools for trainings, unique in design, were also part of the
buildings and Cassie noticed them.

"The angels studied in schools?" Cassie asked immediately

feeling really enthralled. She'd never heard of it.

48
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Of course," Wisdom's reply came. " They all were lectured
directly by the Spirit of Elohim and though were very wise,
they still had to grow much in knowledge about Elohim and
His activities."

"Impressive!"

"Though their curricula of trainings differed depending on

their respective ministries, they also studied general courses
together about mysterious principles of the King that governed
the universe. From Divinity about Elohim, to General
Angelology, Annals of Eternity, Eternal Law, Dynamics of
Music and Worship, Advanced Cosmology, Fields of Science
and Art, and even to the Principles of Mathematics, they were
all enlightened." Wisdom narrated.

All across, there were different angels going about their

different duties quickly, some flying as they went, while others
congregated in their different schools. Not so far away in their
city, Cassie could also see some of them, builders, in the
ministry of manufacturing, immediately constructing some
high bridge of rare steel that arched over a river and also
branched into a high-rise building. Meanwhile, there were even
cooks, in a ministry of helps, preparing different dishes of
wafer foods in large kitchen blocks!

―They all serve in different ministries,‖ Wisdom told her

crisply. "Administration, choir, protectors, manufacturing,
helps and others. Some are placed in charge of administration
for different realms and elements in the universe, others are

49
just messengers in helps—but they all worked together in
unity."

Cassie was very impressed at the way the whole City of

Zion functioned and realised it operated in a kind of antique
royal, monarchical, system but which used the most advanced
forms of wealth, civilization and technology that could ever
exist. For example, the angels used swords as weapons instead,
but which were fabricated with the usage of a highly advanced
technology that the swords could literally ooze real fire or even
shoot projectiles of light itself. That was the way Elohim
operated.

The both of them walked on next to a set of mansions that

lied just beside the Great Hall of the angels. They were very
large and ornately embellished on the exterior, with moldings,
arcades, stained-glass windows, beautiful frescos, large atriums,
and also connecting spaces to each other.

"They're really beautiful," Cassie closed her eyes trying to

absorb the quantity and dimensions of glory her eyes had been
seeing all along.

"I wanted us to visit these chambers," Wisdom said to her.

Few steps led up to a patio in front of one the mansions and

they climbed them walking into it. Ahead of them lied the
vestibule into the mansion and the large doors were opened.

Just then, they could see three angels who'd just arrived on
fine white horses behind them, disembarking. They were the
50
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

top Archangels again and some angelic courtiers quickly

walked up to them to retrieve their horses and store in stables.
Apparently the three had just returned from their communion
at the garden in Eden and were set to face other duties at hand.

"The emissaries of Elohim Himself!" Wisdom said as the

Archangels walked past them obliviously into the mansion.
Three of them, richly beautiful and wise. Three of them,
elegantly towering above seven feet.

"This place is for them?" Cassie asked.

"Yeah. Their Royal chambers."

Lucifer walked ahead of them, shoulders high, wings large,

most glorious and practically beautiful. His long blue-black
wispy hair was shimmering, being swayed by the wind, and
giving space just for the marble-smooth forehead to peek out.
His beautiful blue eyes were fiery and sculpted alabaster face
glowed brilliantly. His was a beauty that was described both by
fellow angels and the Elohim as "Perfect".

Two other different angels came from the Great hall and
also walked into mansion, immediately bowing for the
Archangels, especially for Lucifer, as they saw them.

"Belial, Leviathan, friends of life!" Lucifer smiled

immediately seeing them and embraced them. They were his
friends—his closest friends whom he loved so much—having
served under his ministry perfectly since their times of creation
among the top Seraphim themselves.
51
"Chief Prince Lucifer," they replied happily. Beholding the
glory of his being alone was dumbfounding! Every pace he
took made his attire of precious stones dazzle a more beautiful
combination of colours of lights.

Michael and Gabriel were delighted to see them also. After

all they had always made Lucifer delighted—someone they
could refer to as beyond just a Chief. He was a brother, a very
close brother indeed to them, and together, the trio led all of the
angels.

While Lucifer maintained the ministries of administration

and leading the angels unto the glory of the King during
worship, Michael was the one in charge of the Protectors—sort
of a special police ministry for protecting and preserving the
holiness and ordnances of the Kingdom among the angels,
battling against any insurrection of evil. Gabriel, also on an
equal stand with Michael, was a coordinator among the angels
and the other Archangels too in charge of unveiling and
revealing the agendas of Elohim.

"None shall ever beat Belial and Leviathan in visiting us,"

Michael teased. Among the angels there, he remained the
hugest with more mascular features. Had an uncanny
resemblance to Gabriel, though his features were chiselled and
his countenance was fiercer. Where Gabriel's hair was golden
in colour, his own was light—almost flaxen like corn colour—
but their complexion together was colour of copper
shimmering with eyes of blue pools of fire.

52
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Hear, hear," Leviathan replied nervously to what Michael

said.

"We've come to see Chief Prince Lucifer, you know?" Belial

said quickly too.

"Of course we know you'd always say that," Gabriel said.

"And to also play some game, isn't?"

"Well we won't mind that," Belial answered smiling.

Playing games during free times was one of the things they
enjoyed doing so much with Michael and Gabriel. A lot of
times, they had held games of flight racing, archery, golf,
swimming, horse racing, sword fight and even wrestling! None
of them bothered Lucifer for games that much however. He
had a lot of duties to always see to, leading the angels.

"Sorry folks," Michael told them, "no games for ya today.

There are other things to look into."

"Fine. We'll still be around anyways," said Leviathan as they

all got into the mansion's vestibule.

The vestibule was very large with high vaulted ceilings—

more like a dinner salon—and the walls were draped with
scarlet and gold curtains. Marble tiles of gold decked the floor
and a carpet ran from the entrance through to the passageway.

Not far from the entrance were potted flowers beside

exquisitely designed sofas of all kinds and colours. There was a
piano adjacent to the where the sofas were with other different

53
musical instruments and a large steaming Jacuzzi pool was
seated in the centre of the entire space.

"Wow!" Cassie who watched all along could only gawk at

the enormous beauty of such place which was merely called a
vestibule. Beside the musical instruments, she could see large
beautiful gold-framed paintings on the wall that literally stole
her breath: a panorama of the garden of Eden, a painting of
some angels on chariots of fire, painting of a colourful planet
with the name 'Hermoni' inscribed under, and a personal
portrait of Lucifer himself.

As they walked inside, Lucifer headed for a little table that

was beside the sofas and reached out for a crystalline flagon on
it containing thick gold elixir and then poured into a garnet-
studded goblet.

"Unceasing joy throughout eternity of eternities!" He

declared happily as he gulped in the drink.

"Drink and enjoy while you can, Luce," Michael chuckled.

"Very soon you'd be flying round the universe carrying out
numerous assignments."

"Everyone has different destinies, you know," Lucifer said.

Gabriel gave a fake cough immediately. "Mine's to enjoy a

cool hot bath now."

"I'd take some of the elixir," Belial gulped.

"And me too," Leviathan chipped in.

54
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Enjoy!" Lucifer handed them the flagon as he removed his

outer cloak. "My! Many duties up my sleeve."

"We can help in any way, Chief," Leviathan told him.

"I wish you could, friends," Lucifer replied. "I've an

important meeting soon with Elder Izri, one of the twenty four
Ancient Ones, at the sacred Treasury Vault regarding the
numerous activities of comets close to the Polaris and Methus
stars not far from here."

"You forgot to mention your routine visits to Hermoni and

Caestron planets too," Michael said.

"Of course, Mike," Lucifer sighed. "Those too."

"And your ministrations at our upcoming General

Convention of angels . . ." that was Gabriel chipping in with a
big grin on his face reclining on one of the sofas.

Lucifer paused for a moment looking very puzzled. "Well

I‘m on Elohim's good humour," he burst into laughter as the
others joined him too.

"Just take a look at you, Chief Lucifer," Belial told him,

"You are very great. You can actually run this whole universe
singlehandedly." He gulped in another cup of the elixir.

"Hear, hear, Belial. But I always rely alone on the strength

of the Spirit of Elohim and all the glory belongs to Him,"
Lucifer admitted.

55
"All glory belongs to the all-wise and powerful King in
Zion," all the angels bowed down together immediately and
uttered.

"Yeah," Michael nodded as they got back up.

"So many works to still be done in so many places in the

universe," Lucifer told them. "So many worlds to still be built."

"Of those alone which you know yet," Gabriel said.

"True," Belial admitted. "Hitherto have I heard of numerous

planes, planets and shores which no being has ever ventured
into, some of them immensely terrible and frightening."

"You speak of places such as Hell and shores such as the

lake of fire," Michael said stroking his trimmed moustache.
"Places of utter darkness made with brimstones of
unquenchable fire."

"Those are places of eternal judgment for grave

transgressions committed directly against Elohim, the Creator,"
Lucifer enlightened them more.

"Those who go against the principles of His Eternal Law!"

Gabriel breathed as there was silence for a moment.

"Ever ventured to them, Chief Lucifer?" Leviathan asked.

"Never!" His reply came.

56
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"In the meantime, fellow compatriots, we have Paradise and

Zion to glory in!" Belial said.

"And lots of elixir to drink," Leviathan grinned lifting up his

goblet.

"Hear, hear," Gabriel said.

Just then one of the angelic courtiers walked into the

chamber with a scroll in his hand and he saluted the angels
handing over the scroll to Lucifer. "Chief Prince Lucifer, from
Elder Izril."

"Thanks, Gadreel," Lucifer acknowledged. "I shall read it

right away."

He opened the scroll and read it immediately. "Well, folks, it

appears I shall be leaving you all right away."

"Elder Izril requests your presence so soon?" Michael asked.

"Yeah," he answered. "Even more so, Elohim has some

other duties he wants me to supervise."

All the other angels were putting on smiling faces

immediately.

"Weldone, Chief Luce," Gabriel commented.

"From Elder Izril, I'd be working with the ministers in

charge of the comets at Methus region. Then from there, touch
down at Hermoni and Caestron planets, and other
ministrations," Lucifer told them.
57
"The grace of the Spirit goes with you, Chief," Michael told
him.

"Yeah, thanks." Immediately, Lucifer went out of the

mansion and rode to the sacred Treasury vault on his cherished
white stallion. He really had other duties to attend to.

Cassie sighed heavily after watching all that.

"Just wanted you to see a bit of that," Wisdom told her.

"I appreciate," she smiled.

"Now, we should return to the Throne Room. We still have

other things to see."

"Yeah." They walked out of the mansion together and

headed for the King's mountain at the Holy Place.

―I‘m just wondering what it is to be like an angel!‖ Cassie

said moments later seeing many angels at different spots as
they walked to the mountain.

―Do you love it?‖ Wisdom asked her.

―Of course!‖ she exclaimed. ―Who wouldn‘t? After all, it is

better than being just a human.‖ She flailed her arms in the air
with a pitiful countenance.

―That‘s what you think, Cassie,‖ Wisdom told her.

58
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

―What I think?‖ she asked. ―C‘mon now, it‘s so obvious.

Which of us glitters with light and fire, awesome wings and all
those stuff?‖

There was a large grin on Wisdom‘s face. ―But you‘re even

better than all that!‖

―Indeed!‖ Cassie grimaced, feeling Wisdom was making

exaggerations.

Wisdom sighed understanding her ignorance. ―Alright, why

did you think men were created?‖

―Er . . . I don‘t know . . . live on the Earth?‖ she guessed.

―Men were purposefully created to be princes and heirs of

the great King and to be His delight!‖

―If that was the case, why don‘t we reflect light and all, and
more so why do we live on Earth!‖ Cassie retorted sharply.

―This is it,‖ Wisdom said wanting to explain what he meant

to Cassie in a way she'd understand very easily. ―Men were
actually created with this kind of glory too. But they are given
normal Earthly bodies just so they could live and function on
Earth. When they return, then the glory‘s there again!‖

Cassie hummed. ―Are you sure? Why did we have to live on

Earth then?‖

―Well you don‘t know how someone truly deserves

something precious until he‘s proved himself by working
59
dedicatedly for it, right? They had to be sent to Earth to
manage the King‘s work there faithfully until they were rightly
qualified for the inheritance as His heirs!‖ Wisdom replied. ―In
that process, they would mature to be like the King, and
eventually reign with Him. Angels are just the servants, you
know?‖

―Really?!‖ she asked with a glad face. ―Sounds cool then!‖

―Now you see.‖ Wisdom said. ―Man is the best of all the
creatures, keep that in mind.‖

―I will,‖ she replied. ―Thanks for the tour.‖ A cute smile

flushed her face as they got back to the top of chilly cloudy
mountain, in front of the Throne Room again now.

“Happy Birthday, Earth!”

The Throne Room building was very large, looked quite

strange—out of the norm—and was decorated to the fullest.
Lightning flashes were being flung into existence from its back
and thunder quaked inside. It was bright white glowing into
crimson, sapphire, purple and gold. It appeared like a temple
and had gold ornamental pillars at the front. Cassie gazed at it
in awe. No doubt it displayed the unlimited royalty and more
so holiness of the King. It was a Holy of Holies, for the King
Himself dwelt in there!

There were seven rows of flowers that lined the pathway to

the door. The flowers changed colours constantly and all the
60
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

buds and leaves were uniform in size. There were also twelve
bizarre trees in front that were arranged to form the Star of
David.

Steps led up to the building which had a very large double-

swing door. The entry was framed with pure glistening gold
and it had beautiful stained glass panels on both door leaves.

Two huge guardian cherubs were standing in front of the

door. These cherubs appeared to be well over eight feet tall and
each were of the breed of the fiery Four-faced whose faces of
man, lion, ox and eagle exuded a collective beauty. Their
bodies had two fronts and no back while their legs were
straight like a man‘s but ended in burnishing bronze hooves.
Each of them had four wings with hands under the wings.
Taupe-colored feathers covered their bodies like fish-scale mail.
They were full of eyes around their bodies and within their
wings. They held a huge terror as well as majesty!

They each held a sword whose glistening blade oozed fire.

The swords were inclined and the tips were now touching each
other, causing sharp beams of light to be flung of from it.

―What‘s going on this time around?‖ Cassie asked Wisdom.

―The King‘s having a conference inside. None is allowed to

enter at times like this.‖ The reply came.

Wisdom held Cassie‘s hand and immediately, it was as

though they could see inside the Throne Room, strangely, from
where they were. They could see there weren‘t multitudes of
61
angels anymore. It was just the King on His high throne. It was
like Someone having a meeting or conference among the three
Beings of Himself. There was light all over and the sight was
so terrifying.

―Yeah . . . He‘s the triune Elohim,‖ Wisdom crisply said.

―He also has the Word and the Spirit. Elohim is the plural title
of Eloha, besides.‖

Cassie was looking practically confused and quite terrified.

―Let us create Earth, our delight,‖ Elohim said. ―It would be

a world from which the heirs would eventually serve.

―But theirs‘ is not now,‖ His voice boomed like roaring

thunder.

There was a very large book beside the throne and Cassie
could see that names were immediately being written inside
with a seal like blood. ―What‘s that?‖ she asked.

―A lot of special ones are being chosen from among His

heirs and their names are written in His book,‖ Wisdom
answered. ―They would be His sons.‖

―Why is it with er . . . blood then?‖ she asked quite shocked.

―Those who would be restored by Him are those who‘d

receive the blood of His Lamb which is slain,‖ Wisdom said.

―Humph!‖ she mumbled having little or no understanding of

what was going on.
62
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

After the names were written, Wisdom looked at Cassie‘s

face and then held her hand tightly. ―Now we‘re going to see
the creation of Earth,‖ he said.

Just then, a force propelled the both of them and they sped
down the mountain and out of the whole kingdom in a flash,
appearing immediately in space. The force drove them for a
moment before stopping abruptly later. Space looked much
different from what Cassie had passed through when she was
coming from the Earth earlier, but they were practically
floating in it now. There weren‘t much planets and stars as
such, just vast pervading darkness.

―So we‘re in space,‖ Cassie said feeling quite terrified again

as she held Wisdom tightly.

Wisdom pointed at something in front of them not even

saying any word to her.

She looked straight ahead and immediately could see dusts,

uncountable, wrapping themselves into a gigantic sphere being
drawn by a large force and this continued for a long while.
Then the dusts held firmly together into a large ball, still
spinning, being heated by the force. This solidified and
eventually became like a massive spherical rock sizzling with
fiery steams.

Just then, Cassie heard a loud sound of numerous voices

singing. Shocked, she looked upwards towards where the
sound seemed to come from and amazingly saw the angels in
heaven, millions and millions of them, singing happily together.
63
Apparently, they were very happy that the Earth world was
being created.

Cassie breathed very heavily as smile overtook her face and

heart now too. ―This is superb. Why are they all so happy?‖ she
asked Wisdom still by her side. She had to speak very loudly
because of the thundering sound of the voices that seemed to
pervade the vastness of space.

Wisdom laughed hardly but crisply. ―Joy,‖ he said smiling.

―Elohim is at work again and they are very joyful they witness
the creation of this new world He loves. That‘s the core—the
foundation of the Earth—that has been laid.‖

"Creator of the Galaxies,

Which in the vapour of Thy breath exist.
Lighter of the Stars,
Behold the work of Thine hands

From nothing, Thou hast called the Earth

Through and By Thee, all things created.
Thou hast laid its foundations thereof,
Forever, it shan‘t be moved.

O celestial court, throw down your crowns

‗Neath the ruler of the Earth.
Living creatures, sing your songs
To the King of the universe."

64
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Cassie looked again while they sang and all of a sudden,

something started gushing out of the massive spherical rock on
all sides, at every spot. This was similar to the sea of glass that
Cassie had seen in front of the throne. It was deep blue water,
very much in quantity. The force kept the water wrapped
firmly around the spherical rock while it kept on gushing for a
long while until it reached a quite great height—even on all
sides all around the rock.

―What is this force that seems to be forming everything?‖

―The force? That‘s the Word.‖

A lot of dust and rock particles evolved from the spherical

rock with the water and after a while it all stopped. The
spherical rock was deeply cocooned in enormous fluid-like
particles, rocks and then water but it was firmly fixed—
practically emanating a strong magnetic force that held all of
them together, facing all directions and driving them to rotate
on same axis with it.

More dust evolved again and started forming thickly on the

water, covering part of it. This varied in height at different
points. Cassie looked at it well awe-struck. This was planet
Earth that had formed! The dust wrapped on the water into an
enormous expanse of land forming into plains, hills and
mountains, deep valleys, and other features on different
numerous spots.

65
Out of the Earth‘s enormous water surface, clouds started
steaming upwards on all sides and they remained floating at a
certain height, completely wrapping the whole form.

―Happy birthday, Earth,‖ Cassie whispered completely

enthralled, looking all around.

From where they were, close to the Earth, they could see
different lights in space sparkling at different numerous spots.
These were stars—and the closest one to the Earth shone light
onto it that it made it glow with a thin sphere of blue light.

―Amazing!‖ Cassie exclaimed. ―What‘s it all this fast?‖

―No,‖ Wisdom said. ―The creation was shown to you just in

a moment. It took much longer than this, of course.‖

After a while, green smudges were sprouting from the

surface of the land at different spots. They were vegetation—
the answer came to Cassie swiftly. By now the angels shouted
together joyfully.

―A brand new world was made.‖ Wisdom‘s voice followed.

―Completed and perfected. The King‘s plans were being
fulfilled.‖

Cassie discovered, as she gazed, that the Earth looked quite

different from what she used to see in astronomical pictures
and atlases. The whole land appeared to have a different
outline—unlike the different outline of maps of continents
she‘d known.

66
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

―Er . . . Is this world same as our own Earth today?‖ she

asked.

―Of course,‖ Wisdom answered. ―But it was much different.

It metamorphosed as time went.‖

―Yeah it did.‖ she realised. ―Were there living things on it

yet?‖

―Those came later on,‖ he replied.

"Intriguing," she smiled.

―Come on, Cassie, we still have to see other things,‖ he told

her. Like a flash, a force began driving them again upwards,
through space, then back into the City of Zion again. Swiftly,
they landed inside the Throne Room.

―Welcome back,‖ Wisdom said.

―We‘ve just been travelling like light,‖ Cassie replied. ―I

love it of course.‖ She took her eyes off from Wisdom feeling
quite shy.

In the Throne Room, there were myriads of millions of

angels again. Some were standing, some knelt before the
throne—but it was obvious they had come to present
themselves for worship again as they‘d been granted. As usual,
the orchestra seated at the front rows ready to play their
instruments. A lot of them were holding golden harps this time
around, while some were with shiny violins. There was a large
grand piano nearby that looked like it was made of glass-like
67
crystal with gold fittings and one handsome angel was seated to
play it. There was also a section among them that held brass
horns—trumpets, saxhorns, trombones, tubas—while another
section organised large cymbals, hand-held tambourines and
other percussion instruments.

The Archangel Gabriel then stepped forward before the

throne, from the rest, and spoke. ―Here we‘ve come to exalt
You at Your holy hill. One day in your court is better than a
thousand years elsewhere, O Elohim, the Mighty King!‖

He had a very loud and bold voice, apparently a coordinator

among the angels—unfolding and launching the plans of the
King. He moved back soon enough to the line where the seven
Archangels stood. Michael was just standing next to him.

Just then, all the angels burst into a rapturous sound of

worship with all their voices resounding in harmony firstly
with high-pitched sopranos. The harpists stroked the strings
together stirring a very cool and solemn atmosphere that could
make one very emotional—with even tears and hairs and goose
bumps erupting!

Lucifer was standing at the front as usual to lead the

worship—ensuring the sacrifice of praise for the King was
most acceptable and perfect. He‘d given the lead vocalists an
accurate chart for the different musical parts, he‘d prescribed
the most suitable key and progression for the pianist and
organists while the harpists were specifically appointed as the

68
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

top instrumentalists for that session in order to follow a perfect

path unto an unlimited dimension of the King‘s glory.

Out of Lucifer‘s lips came forth a great oration immediately,

and the sound was as the sound of celestial timbrels and of
strings and of flutes and of every pipe ever heard in the
universe. In response a great song of adoration and worship
burst forth from the heavenly host.

Hallelujah!
Greatly to be praised, You are,
In Your city and mountain of holiness.
Beautiful in its loftiness,
The joy of all universe is Mount Zion.

Life as a river flows from Your throne.

Let the Cherubim in awe,
The Seraphim in praise,
As those who see beyond the veil,
Upon Thee ever gaze.

They kept on singing with different musical parts as those

playing the strings accompanied them. The lyrics were
repeated over and over again and they rose into a higher
crescendo at every turn. Soon the horns were blaring very
loudly—even stirring a more ecstatic atmosphere—as they
transited into a staccato with different sections singing the
different stanzas at same time all blending together
harmoniously. The percussionists started hitting all the cymbals
69
with mallets and striking other percussion. By this time, the
intense emotion and glory of the atmosphere had literally
centupled!

The whole place was practically shaken again by their

thundering soprano and baritone voices and with the sound of
the instruments, dazzling with different colours of light with
thick cloud evolving from the throne and the golden altar. Talk
about awesome ecstasy and glory! Cassie could feel the effect
of the cloud washing on her. It was giving a sensation of
warmth blended with cool air caressing her body and causing
some goose bumps erupt from it. It was an intense anointing
wave.

Immediately, all the angels and the twenty four Ancient

Ones fell to their faces in reverent awe of the King. Flashes of
lightning from the throne multiplied than before. It was a very
terrifying sight.

―Majesty!‖ Cassie breathed completely awe-struck, literally

transfixed. ―Never witnessed anything like this my whole life
on Earth. And I‘m not sure I ever would!‖ Tears were literally
coursing down her eyes.

―I can relate,‖ Wisdom was just smiling.

After the whole worship, some of the angels were being

blessed by Elohim with more power or wisdom for their
excellent service. There were specifically nine of them and
they bowed in front of the throne, delightedly, uttering thanks
to Him and Lucifer was among them too.
70
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

It was as though Cassie got the gift of telepathy soon after.

She could amazingly hear what was going on in the hearts of
those angels immediately. Lucifer was very joyful too—he was
just reflecting on himself all along because of his appreciated
wisdom, high position with flawless competencies and even a
rare beauty—practically the most beautiful among all the
angels, the ―brightest of the stars‖. At least he‘d led all the
angels unto the level of pure glory of the King, precisely
following the principles that had been taught them. That was
part of his role. Elohim valued him specially, no doubt, for he
managed many ministries and angels, and was also among
those who had access to His presence.

The angels in front of the throne were being handed the

authority to govern different realms and some of the King‘s
creation at different spheres in the universe. Lucifer‘s
administration was allowed to extend to the new Earth realm.
This made his heart even much gladder because he knew how
much Elohim loved the Earth world and had made special
plans for it for long . He was to govern the Earth, oversee the
creation there in order, also relating the glory back unto Elohim.
His ministries had increased, it was obvious.

―Almighty King!‖ Lucifer cried in total adoration and

obeisance, filled with joy. ―I‘ll ever be grateful for this
privilege you‘ve given me now. Anoint me afresh therefore for
this mighty task which you‘ve bestowed upon me.‖ Tears
dropped from his eyes. After all, he‘d learnt how to remain
selfless and always absolutely surrender to the Spirit to be used

71
by Him in ministrations and more so increase in levels of the
anointing.
―Of course,‖ Elohim on the throne was very glad also.
Immediately, hands of flaming light landed on Lucifer‘s head
below. A heavy, sweet-smelling golden liniment ran down
from the palms instantly, drenching Lucifer‘s long blue-black
wispy hair with his forehead and mingling with his tears that
coursed down his high cheekbones. Lucifer drank in the
anointing fervently, enraptured. He smiled thereafter increasing
the beauty of his sculpted glowing face. The other angels in
front were anointed too.

Soon, all the angels resumed to their different duties again

and Cassie walked with Wisdom out of the Throne Room too.
The whole worship session for that period had lasted for about
two hours—though Cassie had no device with her to record
time.

She realised that timing in Heaven was quite different from

that of Earth. Though there were no nights there in Heaven,
days were marked by passages of specific number of hours
which the Earth's own eventually correlated to. So activities in
Heaven were not entirely routine due to a day-night factor—
they could be changed or carried out at any particular point in
time when the need arose.

The duo walked out of the Throne Room. Standing on the

peaks of the mountain that was surrounded with flashing
lightning, just on their left, they could instantly see Gabriel

72
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

there now discussing with Lucifer beside some of the burning

stones just few metres away. They moved closer to them and
could hear them as they discussed.

―Shine the light well,‖ Gabriel told him. ―Let Earth bring the
best of praise and glory to the Almighty because His plan for
her is still vast. It‘s a great task He‘s given you.‖

―Yeah,‖ Lucifer replied. ―Really glad He did this for me. It

feels so great to be this high.‖

―That‘s right. He is the Most High forever, so make Him

very glad. Great you have the wisdom for that, Chief Lucifer.‖
Gabriel said. Just then, they could see Michael approaching,
walking towards them.

When he got to them, they greeted themselves warmly as

chiefs but more so like brothers, embracing each other. The
three of them were radiating an unusual light and energy.
Apparently they‘d just come from the presence of the King—
still even standing on the holy mount.

―Heaven‘s ready to see Earth reveal an overwhelming glory

and fulfil the plan of the King,‖ Michael said. ―Different angels
have been assigned to always provide Earth all the necessary
resources needed to be a perfect world . . . for the glory of the
King.‖ His voice was quite deep and solid showcasing how
really huge he was.

―Acknowledgements, Michael,‖ Lucifer answered. ―I‘m

certain that my anointed ministries and administration—here
73
on the mount of the congregation and elsewhere—would
always be filled with awe and success.‖

―The Most High wants to meet with us all, the Archangels,

now," Michael told them. "He needs to give us full briefing,
especially Chief Prince Lucifer, about the new Earth realm."

―Alright,‖ Lucifer and Gabriel chorused as the three of them

walked quickly towards the Throne Room with visible short
light streaks trailing Lucifer who was beaming the brightest
light. The two guardian cherubs at the door slightly bowed
their heads immediately, saluting the trio as they entered into
the building.

Cassie and Wisdom kept on watching and they could see

them directly walk up towards the throne boldly as they had the
access. By the time they reached the front of the throne, though
still in a distance and on the sapphire stones, they met a dozen
of other Archangels already there and they bowed a knee each
on the ground to the King. An intense glory and light was
radiating from the King on the throne—which they couldn't
behold—so they had to bow their heads down too and shield
their faces from it. Lucifer used his large wings, wrapping his
body entirely.

―All hail the Most High, the King of glory!‖ they resounded
together.

"Arise, Sons," Elohim bid them solemnly.

74
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"In accordance with Your plan," Gabriel spoke next, "the

universe has entered into a greater dispensation because of the
new world, Earth, which You have created and we are joyful
for this, O Most High!"

"True, Gabriel," Elohim replied crisply. Turning to Lucifer,

He spoke, ―Earth is very special to us, Lucifer, and your best
service is required." His voice was like thunder rumbling and
there was silence for a while.

―Ready to do your bidding, my King,‖ Lucifer replied. As

the Archangel in charge of the administration, he was ready to
throw in all he could in order to make the tiny speck of dust in
the universe bring joy to the Most High.

Just then a holographic image of the new Earth appeared

before the Archangels that were standing before the throne.
The image was rotating slowly and it showed all the necessary
features and details about the Earth: size, materials,
geomorphology, elemental characteristics, composition,
rotational and revolution velocities, universal coordinates and
many more.

"That's all you need to know about the Earth before heading
there," Elohim spoke.

"It's actually, perfectly, beautiful, my King!" Jophiel, an

Archangel in charge of design and beautification, breathed
breath-taken by the awe and grandeur of the beautiful little
sapphire planet. The other angels were filled with awe about
the planet also.
75
"It's made mostly of water," Raphael said.

"Yeah," Michael affirmed, "and It's situated in the big planet

Phaeton's stellar system in the Orion arm of the great Milky
way Galaxy, close to the Perseus'."

"Nice, nice," Zadkiel, one of Lucifer's assistant, smiled. "It's

very different compared to most planets."

"But It's . . . it's quite small," admitted Lucifer who was

accustomed to observing larger and more beautiful planets.
He'd expected the most cherished planet of the King to have
been the most exceptional in its features.

"Come on, Chief Lucifer," Gabriel interjected. "You've

known the way the Most High works is past finding. He loves
it simple this way."

Lucifer nodded slowly. "Of cour . . . " he muttered.

"I'll work with other angels in charge to supply all its

resources from time to time." Raphael told them.

"I've prepared mine too," Chamuel chipped in.

"For that, specific portals have been created from here,

straight down to Earth realm, for easier and faster transit."
Uriel, a scholarly angel and adviser quickly briefed the others.
"The portals are practically powered by high dimensions of
energy, they fold enormous amount of space-time and literally
pass through the the great Cosmic planes of space. They follow

76
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

similar blueprints of older portals." He himself had been placed

in charge of certain stars in the universe.

"Thanks, Uriel," Gabriel acknowledged.

"I have plans to create a new small Magellanic Galaxy of a

palette of plentier and more beautiful stars just beside the
Milky way. Also, there'll be newer planets in the Centauri's
Stellar system soon," Elohim told them. "But more details
about these ones later."

"Yes, Most High!" They replied, ready to do whatever He

asked of them.

"For now, we must make sure the Earth is adequately

catered for," He said. "See to this completely, Lucifer."

"I will see to it, my King," Lucifer replied. "I'll head to Earth
and report back as soon as possible,"

―Alright," Elohim said. There was a moment of silence and

then He spoke again more softly. "Lucifer, beloved Son of the
Morning, be very careful of declining in service and total
loyalty because of self-glory.‖

Lucifer paused for some moment, hearing that. Why did

Elohim say that? ―Yes, my King. I will be careful.‖

"You all can proceed with your respective duties for now,"
Elohim said.

77
Instantly, all the Archangels bowed themselves again.
―Kadosh, Kadosh! Blessed be the Most High in Zion!‖ They
uttered together.

After that, Lucifer left the Throne Room and went down the
mountain walking amidst the burning stones. Cassie and
Wisdom could see him move into the Great Hall of angels afar
where he oversaw some angels there doing their duties and
discussed with others.

Later, he came out, ready to journey on to Earth. He

immediately flew out of the entire city, passing through the
great pearly gates which had portals that linked from the city
down to Earth amidst the trillions of miles between them. The
portals were like special gates with routes that connected
worlds together amidst galaxies and space and made travel
faster just like wormholes.

Lucifer immediately journeyed downwards towards the new

Earth. He travelled so fast–just like a darting lightning—flying
with the light streaks accompanying him as he passed
numerous stars and different realms in between Heaven and
Earth such as the solitary great Cosmic planes. Soon enough,
he got to the Earth and landed on it.

He quickly oversaw everything there—from the features of

the ocean to the land composition and even precipitation
supplies. He was delighted, but wasn't impressed enough. One
thing he couldn't fathom well was why the Most High had
created the Earth realm to be so simple.
78
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

He considered Terseus planet, which was situated in the

neighbouring Centauri's Stellar system, whose volcanoes
spewed molten gold. And Aegir, where the grains of sand were
rosy pearls. Even Phaeton, also called Jupiter, the largest planet
in the same Earth's Stellar system was blended with colourful
frescos, its raindrops were pebbles of diamonds and it had over
70 moons that beautified its horizons with lights!

So why had Elohim decided to create the most-cherished

Earth to be so simple and modest, made entirely of just matter
and the water that cocooned it. Again that was part of His
mysterious ways. He and all the angels would live for eternity
in complete awe of His endless mysteries. Although he knew
those factors could also have been put in place to support the
livelihood of the creatures on Earth.

"Let‘s go in too," Wisdom said to Cassie who was still

watching Lucifer below from where they were.

Cassie tried assimilating that. ―You mean into the new

Earth?‖

―Yeah,‖ Wisdom smiled.

At the next instant, Cassie discovered they were already

standing on the Earth, pounded upon by its swift winds and
cool atmosphere.

―Gosh! That was a flash,‖ Cassie remarked immediately.

79
―My pleasure,‖ Wisdom took a slight bow. ―Welcome to the
Earth of the beginning,‖ he said stretching his hand round.

―It‘s so cool,‖ she said gazing at the panorama of distant

mountains, hills, valleys, trees and ocean too. The plain they
stood on was sparsely vegetated. It was filled more with a very
fine texture of sand. It resembled Heaven in a low degree.

―What about the creatures?‖ she asked.

―Here you go,‖ Wisdom said pointing at the scene behind

them.

There were varieties of animals in the scene behind them—

birds, reptiles and different sorts of dinosaurs, apes and
monkeys and lots of different mammals. They could see
mammoths in particular and other uncommon animals.

―Wow!‖ Cassie echoed, practically stunned. ―Such beauty!

Never believed these type animals actually existed.‖

Wisdom grimaced, twitching his lips a bit. ―Of course, they

did! Now you know. They‘re only extinct in your own time but
their bones are available at least.‖

―Must have been great to live in such a time as this,‖ she

said.

All over there were different species of animals. Some

dinosaurs were very large, some could fly, some stayed in
water, while others were just like larger lizards. Different

80
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

vegetation also blossomed everywhere, a chilly wind blew

constantly and the sounds of animals echoed all across.

After his supervision, Lucifer retreated to a zone just above

the atmosphere of the Earth where his seat of rulership was
positioned. This was now the First Heaven—far below the City
of Zion, the Third Heaven. The great Cosmic planes and
Earth‘s stellar System in space had now become the Second
Heaven in turn.

He remained superintending over the Earth which had been

set perfectly by Elohim—even the animals were structured in
order with their different heads.

Wisdom allowed Cassie to watch the whole scene quietly.

―More power and position,‖ he remarked, ―became Lucifer's
stumbling block.‖

All the angels kept on doing their respective services well as

time went on. They gained more wisdom and knowledge about
the mysterious principles of the King and they also had in-
depth understanding about how the universe functioned.

It was worth experiencing.

81
CHAPTER THREE:
THE FALL OF LUCIFER

82
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

―E
verything practically went well in the whole of
the universe.‖ Cassie could judge from what
she was seeing.

―Not forever,‖ Wisdom chipped in quickly. ―The angels

worked well effortlessly for a while, but then some of them
declined.‖

―But they looked perfect . . .‖

―And they were,‖ Wisdom added. ―But Elohim created all of

them as beings. And a being is one with power of self-will and
consciousness, utter freedom of choice just like Elohim
Himself and who lasts for all eternity.‖

―So they could decide to use their own wills and eventually
turn out to be how they wanted?‖

―That‘s pretty much the picture. And that‘s the difference

between a being and a robot.‖

Cassie cackled hearing that. ―It‘s true.‖

―Lucifer was the first to succumb to decline. He was a seal

of flawlessness of course. But unfortunately, this was what he
allowed to get into his head.‖

83
The both of them could see later Lucifer seated just above
the Earth from where he administered. Cassie could suddenly
hear the thoughts in his hearts again. Some of his angels carried
out their duties with great reverence to him and he was literally
over-delighted again as he reflected on himself quite
juxtaposing other to the way he was.

No doubt, he was practically better than all of them in all

areas. He held a very high rank among them all, managed other
ministries, and was laden with anointed gifts and proficiencies.
Some of them merely couldn‘t even compare to his beautiful
attire of glory. Even more so, none had the kind of beauty he
had talk less of his unrivalled effulgence of light. That was why
the Elohim named him so in fact. He was a light-bringer—the
first created at the beginning of the dispensation of light, the
Son of the morning, the brightest among the stars, the Covering
Cherub with unrivalled access to the King‘s throne! Who else
could match?

He continued this way for a while with the thoughts

absolutely saturating his heart. It wasn‘t a light thing to be the
more beautiful than other angels and even all creatures. It
wasn‘t a light thing to even have a rare gift of music itself
imbibed in you. After all, Elohim was always delighted at his
service—particularly his administration and worshipping
ministry—and he was always honoured by the other angels. It
wasn‘t a light thing to be great and to be on high with lots of
persons serving under you. No wonder the Most High had the

84
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

billions of angels working for Him. The other angels needed to

be more reverent to him too in fact.

Lots of time passed, and the desire of Lucifer for more

respect, glory and power heightened still.

“Better to reign in Hell!”

On one of his trips to Heaven, while carrying out certain of
his duties there, he was met as usual by Belial and Leviathan,
the bests of his friends, who had been embittered by some of
the way the Elohim ran the universe. They exchanged
pleasantries with Lucifer and began discussing with him.

"How fares Earth, Chief Lucifer?" asked Leviathan who was

delighted to see him.

"Great, great," Lucifer answered. "Other duties still even

await me, you know."

"Of course, Chief," Belial said. "You can run this entire
universe by yourself."

"Well . . . one does one's best," Lucifer smiled raising an

eyebrow.

"That's actually true," Leviathan nodded. "Chief Lucifer

remains the highest, most glorious and powerful being ever in
all the universe. You're just as great and wise as the Elohim."

"Thanks friends, no teasing," Lucifer's smile widened. Belial

and Leviathan seemed to be the friends who loved him most
85
for they always appreciated him and he was happy he had them
close to himself.

"But it's true," Belial quickly retorted. "I don't think

someone of your status should continue receiving orders from
anyone or serving under anyone . . . including the Elohim. You
should reign all by yourself!"

"Yes, yes," Leviathan agreed. "It's just unfortunate that

Elohim doesn't give us all the supposed glory and high status
we deserve. You too can attest to this yourself."

Lucifer sighed heavily almost unsure of what to say but

quite agreeing to it in his heart too. "Well, He is our Creator
and . . . we shall serve Him well, you know," He quickly
looked for words to say.

He went about his different ministries after that but often

returned to Heaven to carry out the ones there while he fostered
his relationship with the other angels.

"He eventually rebelled against Elohim, yeah?" Cassie asked

Wisdom.

"Eventually!" Wisdom nodded. "But the Elohim detested

rebellion and adamancy around Him and so Belial and
Leviathan were first of all cast out of the Kingdom to Hell for
their repeated accelerated instigation and counselling of
rebellion to Lucifer against their Creator.

86
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Their expulsion to Hell of course upset Lucifer," Wisdom

continued, " and He remained angry with Elohim. But Elohim
couldn't relent His standards—he couldn't have
unrighteousness dwelling in His Kingdom with Him."

They could see Lucifer next going to presence of Elohim

and later on challenging Him about His actions. Elohim didn't
reconsider His actions and Lucifer grew more enraged about it
wanting to make Him realise that he still loved his friends and
he too could rule and refuse being a servant unto Him.

Lucifer felt bitterer about the whole situation. "If this is what
You're going to do," he blurted out to Elohim in his rage, "then
it's better I reign in Hell than serve in Heaven!"

Elohim remained unperturbed about it in any case and

Lucifer, pained more by that in fact, left His presence in anger
with the intention of still paying a visit to Belial and Leviathan
in Hell.

He flew out of Heaven down to Hell realm using one of the

portals that led directly to it. By the time he landed on Hell, he
was very shocked. He had known the whole realm was a
terrible one but having been in Heaven for so long, he could
only fathom its beauty and never imagined a place so grotesque
and horrifying as Hell. It was practically terrible—a place of
unbearable heat, darkness, disaster and intense hardship.

Meeting with his friends Leviathan and Belial that were

confined there and seeing their appalling condition, he could
only sympathize with them and vow to rescue them and give
87
them a better status later. He considered all the horrifying
condition of Hell once again. He realised he had apparently
made a terrible decision in announcing he preferred reigning
there. He hated it. It wasn't a place he wanted to spend his
eternity in—even as a king.

But one thing was sure, he made up his mind, he would take
steps drastically in delivering his friends from Hell. He would
keep forever in his heart the earnest bitterness, rage and malice
of what Elohim had done and he would thenceforth refuse to
obey His laws while establishing his own kingdom. He would
establish his own kingdom right there in Heaven too!

With a firmly made-up mind, he flew out of Hell beginning

to itemize strategies on how he could fulfil his new-born evil
desire.

―What a rapt decline.‖ Cassie was shaking her head pitifully.

"So this is what actually happened?"

"That's right, Cass," Wisdom said very softly. "From that

time on, he began opposing everything the Elohim did. Prior to
that, he used to ascend into heaven to oversee his ministries
there, to worship and relate the praise from the creation on
Earth back unto the Most High. Later on he began hoarding it
for himself feeling he was equally great and flawless too. He
didn‘t want to be controlled by Elohim in anyway, so he
wilfully began destroying His natures and characters in him."

―Just so unfortunate. Everything was actually impeccable

before that!"
88
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

―But it declined. Earth realm also declined from a place of

glory, peace and beauty. Creation was reviled and maltreated.
Lucifer introduced wickedness and violence because of the
pride of his glory. He felt he was so full glory, self-begot and
self-dependent that he could do as he would. And he conceived
it to brew up the other angels to rebel against Elohim."

―And what did the Most High do?‖

―He sat back to watch it all at first. He had created the

angels as beings and couldn‘t control their choices. Beings are
just like gods—little elohim.‖ Wisdom said. ―Lucifer
practically wanted more. And he felt the enormous influence he
had among many of the angels could achieve him this."

Later, they could see Lucifer in heaven again and he was

with lots of angels—some of them were his angels who
respected him so much and admired his glory and brilliance of
light. Some of them began appreciating him as usual. One of
them, Moloch by name approached him delightedly.

―Chief Lucifer,‖ he said slightly bowing his head for Lucifer

giddily, ―I never cease to be delighted and amazed whenever I
behold you. You always inspire me.‖

Lucifer smiled warmly feeling quite flattered. ―I understand,

Moloch. You know why I‘m like this?"

―No, chief,‖ Moloch shook his head.

89
"I‘m like this all by myself, because of my self-
dependence!" Lucifer bragged. ―Why do you think I‘m the seal
of flawlessness? I remain so because of my own individual
proactivity, intelligence and wisdom. I don‘t have to always be
depending on Elohim. ‖ He blurted it out.

By now many of the angels had gathered round, really close,

much eager to hear what Lucifer saying.

―I act by my own power and will,‖ Lucifer continued. ―I am

a god too. We all are gods too, you know, and should begin
acting like that. Look at how powerful and glorious each of us
is like the Elohim. You want to be a complete model of
perfection? Then start acting like that by your own yourself!

"Elohim does not really appreciate most of you and has not
been good of lately," he even went deeper. "His government to
us has been unjust and dishonest. You have positions that are
far below your potentials and less than what you should have.
If I were to take over, I would establish a better and more
equitable government. I would know your value and would
place you all in greater positions in the government of the
universe. We all would be blessed more in my administration.

"Please look into this and think about it yourselves," he

appealed to them, "It's high time we grasped a better
dispensation of government which we all deserve right here in
Heaven. We can reign by ourselves!"

All the angels there stood practically transfixed as they

heard him. Some of them weren‘t fully convinced of that. But
90
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

some were absolutely enthralled. ―That‘s true!‖ they said under

their breaths even admiring Lucifer more, likening what he said.

They literally absorbed what he had told them and a lot of

them began ruminating on it. He‘d told them his perfection in
duty was as a result of his own self proactivity, wisdom and
being independent of anyone just like an elohim. No wonder he
seemed to always possess excellence and glory in whatever he
did, they thought. He'd also told them they deserved better
dispensation of government under him. How true it really
seemed. After all, he was really great and wise and could lead
them better for sure.

Many of the angels including Moloch loved the thought of

this and subtly began to detest the reign of Elohim over them,
rebelling against everything He did. They trusted Lucifer could
give them more had he been the Most High and they joined
sides with him.

The trend went on for a long time, as Cassie could see, and
it spread so wide like fire. Eventually, it erupted a severe
division among all the angels that it was called 'The Rebellion'.
A staggering one-third of the billions of angels eventually
sided with Lucifer and pledged their allegiance to him against
Elohim.

―That was very chaotic,‖ Cassie commented. ―Lucifer

dragged them into his decline.‖

―True,‖ came Wisdom‘s voice as they watched. ―Lucifer

lured them into his decline, quite right, he sowed the seed of
91
rebellion and discord into their hearts through his lie . . . but at
least they all had individual will. They could have rejected his
words if they wanted to, but some of them actually loved it and
embraced it wilfully."

The Rebellion
Lucifer was flying very swiftly, headed for Mount Zion,
with eyes and heart brewed with thick bitterness. He got to the
peak of the mount in front of the Throne Room but could see
that the guardian cherubs there had inclined their swords and
sharp beams of light flung off from them. Elohim was having a
conference and none was allowed to enter into the sacred place
at such times. Soon, he retreated to the splendorous garden of
Elohim at Eden and there he met Michael who was discussing
with Gabriel and another angel under his ministry, Chrioni,
who was a Chief.

―Here you are, Chief Lucifer,‖ Michael announced

immediately, standing under a tree. Gabriel and Chrioni also
saluted Lucifer.

―Yeah, folks,‖ Lucifer replied. ―I‘ve noticed there‘s some

kind of unusual preparation going on around. What‘s it?‖ He
walked to where the trio stood quickly.

Michael looked round and replied, ―Apparently, it would be

for the heir of Elohim, who would be His son and His delight.‖

92
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Lucifer hummed hearing that. ―That‘s right. The one who

would reign on same height together with Him. The one who
would be like Him. I see.― He knew quite right.

―I want to discuss something with you.‖

―On what?‖

―The Great division, Lucifer. The Rebellion.‖ Michael told

him making eye contact with Gabriel.

"What about it?" Lucifer scoffed.

"Come on, Chief, you can't brew up angels to rebel against

the edicts and ordnances of their Creator. You too can't,"
Michael said with an extremely worrisome face and mind.

"We can never fight our Maker," Gabriel added too.

―Well, I think I‘m free to act on my own free will,‖ Lucifer

replied them. ―That's the eternal gift Elohim gave us and there's
nothing that says we can't use it. We‘re all just like gods you
know, and are perfect. So whatever decision we take is always
in perfection.‖

―I don‘t agree with that,‖ Michael said. ―We‘ve always

depended on Elohim.‖

―Not anymore, Michael. We‘re also gods and can live so.
Can't you see how unfair His government has been to us?

"I‘m setting up my own government right here in Heaven

and I propose a better administration. I‘m practically confident
93
of my success and victory. I have the power and the Wisdom to
do it, Mike, Gab, and I shall give you two better positions and
glories than this current one you hold now. Think about it
yourselves brothers, join me!"

"No, Luce," Gabriel whispered. "I can't. Better to serve for

all Eternity, the will of the Most High."

Michael shook his head pitiful with tears almost coursing

down his eyes. "I shall never tread with you in this evil path
you are about to take, Luce. I shall never rebel against Elohim,
my Creator. Can't you remember He is slow to anger but great
in power, and He will not leave the guilty unpunished? Beware
of this path you tread, brother! "

―Whatever you folks think!‖

Straightaway, Lucifer went out of the garden leaving them

there, flew out of heaven and then darted down to where his
own throne was, above the Earth. He sat on the throne snarling
with heart, mind and

Cassie and Wisdom kept on watching everything and after a

while, they discovered Lucifer resumed the bitter thoughts in
his heart again.

He was quite glad he was close to achieving his desire. He

felt he really deserved more! More power, more influence,
more glory . . . more worship in fact. Elohim was just
concerned about His heir who‘d reign with Him and be just
like Him only. But he himself really deserved to be placed
94
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

higher than the height he reigned on. He deserved to reign on

even the highest height instead of the heir! His influence
needed to be great among all of the angels—not just part of
them. He needed them all to be under him.

It wasn‘t best to settle for less, he reminded himself again. It

would be wise for him to quickly strike Elohim and the angels
on His side before it would be too late. Only then he would be
able to lift himself up and achieve his desire. He would be just
like Elohim too and rule the whole universe. And it could be
very possible. After all Elohim had created him with great
wisdom and great power, so he was able to accomplish his
desire. There was nothing to fear! He needed all the angels
together with his plan actually so that Elohim wouldn‘t be able
to stop him at all. It was just unfortunate that so many of them
including even Michael and Gabriel couldn't see from his
perspective and were just satisfied with being servants for all
eternity.

Achieving his desire required very wise and strategic stages

or steps through a potent willpower and carrying them out
speedily, Lucifer told himself. He immediately deliberated five
of these steps in his heart. He considered each one carefully.
They seemed practically possible and efficient. After all, they'd
been derived through his unrivalled wisdom. He was certain
they would help in achieving his heart's earnest lust.

―I will ascend into Heaven,‖ he announced the first step to

himself, loudly in his heart. At least the first step was to get to

95
the city of Elohim, where the 'coup' would be carried out, the
Rebellion completed.

―I will lift my throne above the stars of Elohim,‖ he

strategized further wisely, his heart more determined. He
needed his throne to be not just above the Earth or part of the
angels—but to be above all of them, above everything. He was
delighted about the angels that had already sided him. They
would help bring this to pass. Together they would attack the
opposition angels and force them all to join in carrying out
their mandate.

―I will also sit on the heights of the mount of the

congregation in the far north!‖ His heart announced the third
and next step, a breath of deceit and crooked determination
immediately puffing out of his nostrils. After their attack in
Heaven, Elohim alone would practically be unable to hinder
him from seating enthroned in the Throne Room on Mount
Zion.

A heavy weight of pride was practically engulfing his whole

being. He was so impressed at the kind of wise strategies he
himself was bringing out. By the third step, he knew he would
literally achieve being the greatest and highest. But it wasn‘t
even enough yet. He needed the glory and greatness of himself
ascending high, passing even above the clouds of Heaven just
like that of the Elohim. He needed to ascend above everything.

―I will ascend above the tops of the clouds.‖ The lust in his
heart heightened! He knew getting to that highest height would
96
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

make him absolutely like the Most High. All that would be left
for him would be ruling the entire affairs of the universe.

―I will be like the Most High!‖ His heart concluded the lust
in him. A wicked smile brushed across his face and his eyes
glinted an hazel hue of raw evil. There was no turning back.
His heart was made up and he could only increase in his lust
for all eternity! How wise a commander he was!

He needed to inform his angels, as soon as he could, to

prepare them in carrying out their plan right away. Deceptively,
he communicated to their hearts emphasizing again the fact
that they deserved a better government and administration
wherein they would be blessed incomparably. They were all
gods too that had their own individual willpower and didn't
need to succumb to the will of Elohim forever.

Elohim wasn‘t fair enough, he expressed that to them again.

He alone was receiving all the glory and worship from the
angels with no one sharing with Him. And just see how great
and glorious He was—none could even behold His face and He
was always seated so high with His glory even above the tops
of the clouds of heaven at the highest! Elohim was reigning as
the Most High on the heights of Mount Zion and there was no
one even close to receiving the kind of glory He collected from
the angels and all creation.

Lucifer got to the crust of the matter: it was high time they
really broke away from Elohim's rule and had their own
kingdom that would be superior. The only way they could

97
achieve this was to cause an uproar in Heaven and immediately
attack the other angels still siding Him in order for them join in
their rebellion too. None would expect it. It would be a perfect
surprise invasion. By the time they had accomplished this,
Elohim would be left with absolutely no one on His side and by
then He would be forced to surrender to their wish and hand
over the kingdom unto them. It was a brilliant coup plan.

All the angels immediately began pondering on this as their

minds were filled with the polluted rebellious thoughts from
Lucifer. They felt very enlightened again and accepted his
strategy. After all, he was their overall head and was very wise.
They were absolutely ready to join forces in millions to
overthrow Elohim.

"It's time!" Lucifer announced to himself. It was time to lead

his army, overthrow Elohim and raise up his own kingdom. A
crooked smile crossed over his features again. Belial and
Leviathan would not be left out in the fulfilment of the
Rebellion, he told himself. He would rescue them from Hell
and they too would join with other angel to carry out their
revenge against Elohim.

He stood up from his throne saturated with confidence. He

couldn't relent in it at all. Eternity would tell his story unending!
Quickly, he flew out from where he was and began descending
to Hell realm. In few minutes, he reached it.

98
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Brothers of Eternity," he called out to Belial and Leviathan

as soon as he got to where they were. "It's time to repay the
Master for His injustice to you."

Leviathan and Belial cackled wickedly immediately with

defiled hearts, much delighted Lucifer was fulfilling his
promise to them and offering them the opportunity to attack the
Most High whom they loathed so much.

"By the flames of Sheol," Leviathan cried, "which we have

suffered from . . ."

"It's time to fulfil the revenge of all eternities!" Belial

completed as their faces grew practically brazen and filled with
utter hatred. Immediately, the three of them ascended out of
Hell.

Lucifer was ascending into Heaven. He was glad his first

will was materializing to make him accomplish his evil desire.
Soon enough, he got to Heaven and quickly summoned all the
angels siding him in the great division.

They were very much.

Literally in their billions!

One-third of all the angels created!

Lucifer stood in front of them all, Belial and Leviathan at

his sides, and began addressing them urging them to be
courageous as they wanted to fight for their righteous cause.

99
"Together, we shall reign on the heights of Mount Zion and
rule the entire universe," he assured them. "For our justice!" He
cried lifting up his sword.

"For our justice!" All the angels cried lifting up their swords
too, saturated with wickedness.

The First War

At the next breath, the rebel angels matched out and began
challenging the other angels that were still on the side of
Elohim, afflicting some of them. The activities of Lucifer and
his angels literally sparked a wide uproar all across the
Kingdom immediately.

Scores of Archangels were already meeting in the Throne

Room meanwhile with Elohim, discussing how to suppress the
confusion going on in Heaven and to hinder Lucifer from
fulfilling his desire.

"He's totally gone out of his mind!" Gabriel exclaimed. "We

never believed this could happen!"

"We have to face him and his angels before they accomplish
their plan of overthrowing the kingdom of Elohim," Raguel, a
fierce Archangel in charge of justice told them.

There was silence for a moment and then the glorious

Elohim on the great throne spoke. "I'll stay out of it all for the
while." He sounded perfectly unperturbed and in an

100
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

unfathomable tranquillity. "Michael, see to it that you and the

remaining angels counter him appropriately."

Michael was just absolutely shocked all along. He couldn't

believe this was same Lucifer they were about to tackle—
whom he'd taken as his brother—whom he and Gabriel had
dined and wined with—who was the light-bearer! It was same
Lucifer who had been a higher than all angels, second to the
triune Elohim alone, was the anointed Covering Cherub, a
custodian of the Eternal Law of the Most High, holder of His
sacred codices, and minister of the annals of His mysteries!
Where did he procreate evil and rebellion from?

"Chief Prince Michael!" Archangel Raphael called out to

him who was still deep in thought.

"Yes, my King!" Michael quickly answered cutting out his

terse thought and painful unbelief about Lucifer. Michael was
the Chief Commander of the Protectors, the next leader after
Lucifer over the angels, alongside with Gabriel, so he had to
lead the angels into the battle in confronting Lucifer and the
rebel angels on his side.

Straightaway, Michael assigned certain Chiefs that

commanded hosts of their angels to face the armies of Lucifer
on different fronts while he himself and the particular the
special legion under him would hunt for Lucifer squarely.

The plan to stop Lucifer was quite successful for a while.

Many of his angels were routed and captured being that they
had expected no resistance. Lucifer however was cunning
101
enough to escape the counter attack against him and soon, he
was leading an entire division of his angels, the last-standing
one, up to the Throne Room of Elohim on Mount Zion!

The raging turmoil and pandemonium was very enormous.

Some of the defences of archers and lancers which Michael had
positioned for the Throne Room were completely overrun by
Lucifer who kept on advancing relentlessly. Soon enough, he
got to Throne Room on top the mount and stood in front
decisively. He had achieved so much in the ensued battle, he
knew. Nothing would hinder from achieving his dream right
there. Chunks of polluted anxiety and courage were brewing in
his heart.

"I will seat on the heights of Mount Zion!" He told himself

again, extremely happy he had gotten there.

"Chief Prince Lucifer," Beelzebub, one the closest rebel

angels, among the top Seraphim, that was fighting with him
called out to him, "your wisdom has brought you this far.
Possess what's rightfully yours now!"

Lucifer smiled nodding his head delightedly. Immediately

he charged into the Throne Room with the remaining troops,
striking and weakening some of the angels that tried to resist
him, causing more pandemonium even inside!

Michael had been informed that Lucifer had reached the

Throne Room. Quickly, he conveyed the Legion under him
there which they weren't far from. They got to the Throne

102
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Room soon and Michael headed for Lucifer while his warriors
faced the other rebel angels.

"You have given yourself over to evil," Michael announced

immediately he got to Lucifer who was almost advancing to the
throne. "Therefore the Most High rebukes you now!"

Lucifer scoffed. "There's no stopping me, Michael. The

throne is mine!"

A huge and muscular Michael launched his long sword

forward immediately which began radiating with fire.

"Even you dare to challenge me!" Lucifer was filled with

rage. He opened all his large wings and charged towards
Michael immediately, ready to crush him into powder if
possible.

"With the mighty power of the Spirit of Elohim," Michael

uttered loudly, "I challenge you, Lucifer!" He flew up swiftly
the moment Lucifer got to where he was—who didn‘t meet
anything in his front to crush anymore—and then descended
immediately driving his burning sword deep into Lucifer's back.

Darkness and a field of stars blanked Lucifer's sight

immediately while an excruciating pain rocked in his back that
drained all his energy. He tumbled to the floor instantly,
agonizing, while all his angels stopped their fighting and
beheld him in utter shock. Slowly, Michael alighted on him
marching his head with a foot and his being with the other.

103
"This day, you're brought under the judgement of Elohim,
the Most High!" Michael decreed delightedly, lifting his sword.
At last Lucifer, the chief rebel, had been conquered.

News about the conquering of Lucifer quickly spread

through the Kingdom encouraging the rest of Michael's angels
who brought the rebels under subjection. Many of the angels
began trooping into the Throne Room to witness the judgement
of Lucifer and the rebels.

"I do not repent!" Lucifer yelled on the ground now in front

of the throne of Elohim. "For all eternity, my allies and myself
would continue to rebel and challenge Your supremacy!" His
whole being seemed to be filled with more obstinacy and
wickedness.

All the rebel angels that were there immediately began

hailing Lucifer, practically adamant and unrepentant about
their actions too. They were numerous, all filled with an
unfathomable degree of evil and wickedness, wanting to stir up
a revolt again right there in the Throne Room.

Just then, Elohim spoke.

"This day you are judged." His voice roared like enormous
thunders practically shaking the whole of Heaven as there was
a grave silence everywhere for a while. All the elders and
angels stood in the most reverent awe ever.

―How fallen you are from heaven, O Lucifer, Son of the

morning!‖ the voice uttered, ―For you have said in your heart,
104
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

‗I will ascend into heaven; I will lift my throne above the stars
of Elohim; I will also sit on the heights of the mount of the
congregation in the far north! I will ascend above the tops of
the clouds; I will be like the Most High!‘

―But you are cast out of my holy mountain as a profane

thing and you‘re destroyed from among the fiery stones!‖

Immediately, a mighty force pushed Lucifer out of the

Throne Room and threw him out of the mountain completely.

―You were blameless in your ways from the day you were
created till evil was found in you. You‘re cast out of Heaven
and down to the Earth in disgrace for your heart have become
proud because of your beauty and your wisdom corrupted
because of your splendour. You have defiled your ministries by
the multitude of your sins therefore all the angels siding you
are cast down with you for you‘re the father of all lies and evil
itself.‖ The voice thundered swiftly again in absolute judgment.

Immediately, the mighty force drove Lucifer out of Heaven

entirely and pushed him down. All of the numerous angels who
had also rebelled and imbibed the trait of Lucifer, everywhere,
were also driven out of Heaven immediately by the same force
and cast down with him—every one of them!

The mighty force pushed Lucifer and the other angels

downwards towards Earth. They all fell down very rapidly.
Lucifer was falling like a flash of lightning and they were all
shrilling and screaming in regret as they did!

105
The atmosphere of Earth was filled with dark eerie clouds
and terrible storms were shaking all the creatures on it.
Immediately, Lucifer landed on the Earth with all other of the
rebel angels in their multitudes of billions all across the vast
Earth. Some of them fell into the ocean, some fell on the
Cosmic planes above the Earth, while a large number fell on
the Earth itself. The Earth was practically shaken and sizzled as
though many asteroids had landed on it. The creatures there
witnessed it.

Fire started coming out each of the fallen angels

immediately, as they had fallen, devouring them. They were
completely transformed as the fire kept on consuming them
and they immediately became like beasts that were even more
terrible-looking than the animals on Earth. The sight was very
terrifying.

They had sinned and death was snuffing out their glory on
the dust.

The Corpse of an Angel

The fire kept on devouring them as they‘d fallen on the
Earth and they metamorphosed into completely opposite
creatures of how they had been. They had coveted more glory
but Elohim judged them by stripping them of the one they had
previously and horrible looks of their evil natures appeared on
them.

106
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Lucifer‘s beauty, light, glory, attire and in-built instrumental

gifts were all devoured by the fire. He was completely covered
with worms and the hairs on him became like maggots. His
wings metamorphosed into eerie webbed wings, his body burnt
red scales.

All of them kept on shrilling and howling as their fire

consumed them. By the time Lucifer would arise from the
ground, he had literally metamorphosed into a dragon-like
being with rotten horns, claws and tail. He had completely lost
his glory and the look he now possessed was perfectly terrible
just as his beauty had been perfectly good.

The once beautiful angel of light had died. His corpse now
had risen into a horrible beast.

A terrible shame overwhelmed him as he beheld himself and

he wailed very loudly in sorrow. What had once been his great
pride was now his great disgust. All the other fallen angels did
too. In regret and utter rage, he conceived it in his heart to
absolutely destroy every remaining substance of Elohim in him.
Every trait, gift, and natures of holiness, love and peace were
completely destroyed. He filled his heart with a magnified
amount of evil and wickedness and next, he was a complete
opposite of how Elohim was, in all ramifications.

Cassie watched the whole scene practically petrified with

horror. The horrible sight of the fallen angels was terrifying her
and she hated the shrilling sounds they were making. She
didn‘t want to even watch again because her heart was being

107
wringed by an enormous fear. She looked downwards and
could also see her body on her bed also on Earth in a different
sphere, practically disturbed and even shivering for fright. By
now tears were rolling down her eyes.

―I can‘t see any more of this,‖ she cried to Wisdom.

―Don‘t be afraid, Cassie,‖ he told her. ―It‘s okay.‖ He

wrapped his arm around her gently. ―You know why Lucifer
could ever envision it even to oppose Elohim?‖

―No,‖ she replied.

―Apparently, the perfect wisdom he once had was corrupted

by sin so he couldn‘t even think straight again.‖

Over there in Heaven, a tremendous joy and shout of praise

broke out among all the beings. Lucifer and his evil angels had
been judged and cast out and peace had returned to Zion.
Together, all of them prostrated before the Elohim. A mighty
awe filled them.

On Earth though, all the fallen angels gathered together and

Lucifer began to address them as they all remained in utter
agony.

"Though we have been banished from the Third Heaven,

City of Zion, from the presence of Elohim and have lost our
glory, we are still gods that can reign by ourselves and
eventually conquer Elohim and the remaining angels on his
side," he growled with a terribly husky voice. ―I swear it!‖

108
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

After that, Lucifer structured all the fallen angels to begin

operating in hierarchies similar on the same ones they‘d had in
Heaven. Together, they formed a rival kingdom against that of
Elohim with princes of darkness as their heads and Lucifer
himself was the Chief Prince of darkness. They had formed the
Kingdom of darkness!

"What else did Lucifer and his angels do after that?" Cassie
asked.

"They were filled with immeasurable bitterness, of course,"

Wisdom said. "They tried attacking the City of Zion again in a
bid to win the final battle and the war but they were
successfully repelled by the angels of light. They had no choice
than to turn to the creation of Elohim on Earth to destroy them
in revenge."

They could see Lucifer and the fallen angels possess all the
zones on Earth realm next. In their utter rage and wickedness,
they began to destroy the creation on Earth, ravage and murder
the inhabitants. They also invented all forms of evil just to
grieve Elohim.

―So the fallen angels literally spoiled the Earth?‖ Cassie

asked as she watched everything.

―Yeah. But eventually, Elohim destroyed the whole Earth by

Himself in anger because of this—though He resolved not to
destroy it completely. The foundation of the Earth was left
intact,‖ Wisdom answered. ―See this for yourself.‖

109
Immediately, they could see great thunderstorms rumbling
all over the Earth. The whole land was shaking while the
mountains were quaking. Great floods of water started erupting
out of the Earth with a heavy downpour and it rose so high
practically covering the whole face of the Earth. All the
creatures on the Earth were engulfed in the flood—even the
birds that flew so high were gone.

It was an utter desolation. Heavy floods engulfed and

destroyed the whole Earth. The destruction was so heavy that it
swept through and practically stopped the Earth‘s rotation,
even imploding the stars around. Eventually, the whole Earth,
filled with water, froze up like rock and became formless while
it remained dark and void.

―This is frightening,‖ Cassie admitted. ―Were there any men

living on Earth during this time?‖

―No,‖ Wisdom replied. ―There were no people yet.‖

―I never knew this actually happened,‖ she told him.

―Oh yeah it did,‖ Wisdom said. ―And you‘ve never read of

it?‖

Cassie shook her head. She was practically unaware of

everything. ―Where can I find it?‖

―Not everything about the Earth is in the Genesis story in

the Bible, that‘s why. But these things are actually hidden in
pieces in other places.‖

110
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

―Where?‖

―I‘d generously give you a few of those to check. You‘d see

in the book of Jeremiah, the fourth chapter; with verses of
twenty three till twenty eight and the book of Job, ninth chapter;
five till seven.

"You‘d also find some in the thirty eighth chapter; verse

twenty six till thirty also.‖

"It's been there all this while!" Cassie whispered.

"Yes, and many more."

Just then, she bowed face sadly. "Something troubles my

mind, Wisdom. And I've been asking myself since with no
answer to it."

"Please share it."

"I know God knew Lucifer would rebel before He created

him. So why did He still go ahead creating him?"

Wisdom smiled warmly. "I want you to know that every

creature that works for Elohim must be tested for their loyalty
and absolute selflessness at one point or the other. Whether
they fail or pass the test is a different issue. It's just unfortunate
that Lucifer who brought the test to other angels too ended up
failing.

111
"Also, Elohim created numerous angels. If He had refused to
create Lucifer, who says any other angel couldn't rise up to
eventually do what he did?

"And you also know all the angels are beings with self-will.
Hindering Lucifer's self-will in any way would mean Elohim
wasn't true to His sovereign gift of self-will to beings."

"Yeah, that's true. So true."

"Well, you've seen much today, Cassie," Wisdom told her.

"We still have other places in Eternity for you to visit."

"I‘m practically overwhelmed!"

"I wouldn't like to 'overdose' you though," Wisdom shook

his head.

Cassie smiled warmly, reminiscing the numerous

unfathomable, mysterious and unspeakable things she had just
seen. They had really been turbocharging!

Also hypnotic.

And horrifying.

But she actually wanted more.

"Thanks, Wisdom," she exhaled deeply. "I‘m ready for the

next voyage!"

CHAPTER FOUR:
THE ADVENT OF MAN

113
A
n enormous silence swept through the atmospheres
of heaven and the whole universe for a long while.
Cassie watched very fixedly with Wisdom right by
her side. All the other remaining angels stood in great awe of
the King also. Earth world had been destroyed. Unfortunately.
And that was because of the evil and rebellion of Lucifer and
his angels who had been banished from heaven.

It seemed the whole of the universe stood on hold for the

whole of eternity, in utmost anticipation of what would happen
next. All felt the enormous pain. But then, a mighty voice
broke the ice-cold grave-silent silence.

"Earth shall be restored."

Tersely but with great power, the voice resounded.

Heaven had lost Earth due to the wickedness and evil of

Lucifer. But yet still, Elohim had greater future plans for her.
From that time on, the City of Zion, the Third Heaven was
heavily guarded at different points by the sentries and
Watchers under the ministry of protectors and by cherubs in a
bid to totally prevent Lucifer or any of the fallen angels from
ever returning into it of their own accord.

114
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Wisdom took hold of Cassie's hand after that and they saw
themselves next in space, hovering just above the disfigured
planet Earth.

"Look ahead," Wisdom told her.

They could immediately see something like a great wave of

wind covering over the dark icy planet. And this went on for
some moment.

"What's going on, Wisdom," Cassie asked.

"Remember Genesis 1:2?"

Cassie nodded.

"That's the Spirit hovering over the Earth."

The dense icy layer on the planet began melting speedily

and water began coursing as the Spirit hovered over it, an
enormous darkness pervading the whole space.

This was a place they'd been to before to witness the

creation of the Earth with Choir of angels singing joyfully.
Now they were back again to watch its restoration with the
insurgence of evil purged away.

Cassie looked as the Spirit hovered over the waters for a

restoration. No doubt, if a good restoration needed to take place
to the Earth, the thick chambers of darkness needed to be
expunged.

115
By the next breath, the voice of Elohim was resounding
again. "Light be!"

In such utter darkness and confusion laden on the Earth and

entire space, an effulgence of light from nowhere beamed
outwards very brightly towards the Earth which was practically
physical. Surprisingly, the light also beamed rays of
illumination, knowledge and clarity that dissolved the intense
darkness and confusion wrapped on the Earth. Cassie perceived
this strongly. The basis for Earth's recreation was settled.

"Where did that light appear from all of a sudden?" Came

out Cassie's lips.

"The Word of Elohim caused that light to manifest."

"Wow!" Cassie breathed.

"Never forget, every word spoken by Elohim in all of

eternity is always fulfilled by the Word Himself. That's His
name. That's His role."

Cassie hummed reminiscing that.

"And He's ever being carrying them out with the Spirit's
power."

"I understand, Wisdom."

The bright light kept on beaming on the Earth while the vast
hovering of the Spirit continued also. Soon, the entire Earth
was cocooned in a thick surge of power that penetrated deep
116
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

into its mantles and core. The rotation of the Earth was
triggered instantly. Again. Just like it had spun on its axis
previously, it did so again. Darkness had permeated every of its
feature. But now, its day and night timing was resuscitated.

The Earth was still submerged completely in watery depths

though. After a complete rotation, the voice resounded again
and immediately, a force sucked the waters down deep into the
Earth itself and an enormous space secluding the clouds above
appeared again —just like that! The Earth still appeared like a
giant watery ball cumbered with gravity though.

By the next turn, the waters dispersed and gathered together,

opening up for the dry land that had once been submerged to
appear.

"It's all happening like magic," Cassie commented as she

watched eagerly.

"It's all happening because of the power of word, rather."

Wisdom retorted.

Just after that, trees and other different plantations began to

spring up on the deserted land's face. The rest of the creation
story continued with each stage accompanying a different
phase of the Earth's rotation.

The plantations and animals resurfaced again from the Earth

according to their kinds that had once been on the Earth,
exactly. Mountains and valleys. Seas and lakes. Trees, birds
and animals. Soon the whole Earth was filled again just like it
117
had been—with beauty. At last, darkness and confusion was
expunged and beauty returned into it.

"Next, the first humans were finally created—let me guess,"

Cassie said.

"Yeah. Pretty close. Elohim's heir which He'd always made

preparations for and created to even be like Him in some
degree was sent to manage the affairs of the new Earth realm.

"Lucifer displaced and subjected to shame one more time.

His former office and earnest lust which had been the cause for
his downfall was given freely to the heir. To man!"

Cassie shook her head with a feeling of ambivalence. "This

made him mad right?"

"You shouldn't have expected anything else. Man was given

the total dominion to rule the whole new Earth realm. With
Eden as Headquarters, you could say and Elohim literally came
to commune with him there at evenings and angels attended to
him."

"This would have heightened Lucifer's rage."

"Sure it did. But realise the heir was Elohim's personal

property and He loved him so much so He could do as He
willed. He became a Lord for man," Wisdom said.

"So how exactly was Lucifer's plan like?" Cassie asked.

"See for yourself," Wisdom answered.

118
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

The Fall of Man

In a flash, Cassie and Wisdom discovered they were
immediately seeing something differently. Something stranger
and quite scary. Lucifer was seated with some of his fallen
angels in their territory, planning and strategizing carefully.
The scene was covered with darkness and everything in it was
completely horrid.

"The heir has been made to rule over the new Earth!"
Lucifer yelled angrily with utter rage and bitterness. Some of
the lower fallen angels were cowering with fear as he did,
unable to even behold him. That was good, he thought. He
greatly depended on their fear for him in order to lead the
hordes of them.

All of the fallen angels were in their corrupted burnt fallen

forms though Lucifer, the Prince of darkness, assumed a very
different one from them. He was appearing darkly handsome
like a man—nearly like the glorious one he had before falling.
He was moderately muscular with flowing dark hair and
chiselled features. His eyes were brown, and his tan skin was
flawlessly smooth and without wrinkles. He was draped in an
elegant black velvet robe fringed with gold. Though he could
appear in different forms, he couldn‘t remain in his original
appearance of glory for too long.

"What we were kicked out and disgraced for is what he has

possessed freely!‖ he yelled again. ―A being made out of mere
dust is what the Most High has used to replace me. Shall we
fold arms and just watch?"
119
"No!" The fallen angels cried.

"He must be brought down—also in revolt to the Most High!

Until he's also banished and he must end up becoming just like
us—losing his glory and dominion. We would gain the title
deeds, and I would become the ruler of the Earth again."

"How do we attack?" One of the princes there, Moloch, one

of Lucifer's close aide in the great division, asked.

"I would do it personally in the wise way I want," Lucifer

replied. "Causing a son of the Most High to fall is not a light
task.

"My seed planted from my fall on Earth in their Eden is

grown like a tree already. I'll entice him to eat from it in total
disobedience to the Most High. We'll perfectly achieve what
we want that way."

"And what about the Most High?" Semjaza, another prince

asked.

"He can never tolerate the iniquity of any being," Lucifer

answered with even more anger now. "And the heir of course
would never regain his glory and dominion again. Whoever
bears sin, must taste death! That's the principle of the Most
High Himself and He can never break His principles," Lucifer
emphasized making a gruesome cackle thereafter.

"Unbelievable!" Cassie exclaimed. "That's why the whole

world has never been perfect since then again." Seeing the

120
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

eerie sights of Lucifer and his angels in their fallen dark states
stirred terrible fear in her heart.

"Unfortunately man fell for Lucifer's trap, he was judged

and cast away," Wisdom narrated. "And then, he lost the rights
and title deeds to rule the entire Earth and even its Solar
System, the Second Heavens, to Lucifer. Nevertheless, the
Most High had known what would happen. That's why before
the Earth was even made, He had provided a remedy. Lucifer
never knew of this of course."

"Really?"

"Sure. Man was a being of spirit and soul and could be

adjusted whereas angels have their current fates always sealed
for eternity and never have forgiveness. The remedy to restore
man was going to be through a sacrifice for forgiveness by his
Offspring. Lucifer of course found out about this later and
strategized to plant his own seed among man's offspring in
order to hinder it."

"He certainly must have been over happy for successfully

making man fall for his wish," Cassie said.

"It didn't last long."

Lucifer was back in his territory again after man's fall,

roaring with excitement while all the other fallen angels were
jubilating very loudly and some were paying homage to him.

121
―My Lord, Lucifer,‖ Moloch said bowing in front of him
with other princes of darkness, ―now have you gotten a great
victory with your incomparable wisdom, and this is just the
first step in reclaiming what was rightfully ours.‖

They'd been a step forward in recovering what they'd lost

from the Most High and overthrowing Him, they thought. With
a delighted though more hardened heart for evil, Lucifer smiled
to himself holding in his hands the title deeds of the Earth.
They were now the legal rulers of Earth and its heavens.

Within a very short time, all the fallen angels possessed all
the zones in the Earth and its outer Solar System in their hosts
of multiple millions. In the dark great Cosmic Strata in space
above the Earth, they headquartered their kingdom, building a
palace of darkness for Lucifer.

The Cosmic Strata was like an enormously vast desert,

engulfed in a continuous darkness and heat and had red humid
atmosphere reeked of sulfur. It was just like a huge asteroid.

They built the rival palace for Lucifer on a mountain of

shiny, jagged coal on the Cosmic Strata to rival the great
Throne Room of Elohim established on the holy Mount Zion.
The palace seemed as though it got its light from a distant
forest fire that cast long shadows across. The black palace
seemed exquisite, perfect and lustrous as a jet gemstone, quite
ingenious in its design, yet it was deathly dark, infernal,
uninviting, and foreboding.

122
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Lucifer made good sure his five I wills were inscribed

boldly on the wall in his throne room, just behind the throne.

Seeing his evil desires coming into fulfilment through the

fall of man, he stood and cried out loud:

"I am Lucifer, the great archangel, made of light and fire! I

am the light-bearer, the cherub who covered and would rule the
Earth forever. Despair for me, mankind, for I would accuse you
and remain your archenemy forever!"

His roar of laughter with that of his angels echoed all across.
There was a sharp blackout immediately.

Colony of the Nephilim

Cassie buried her face in her hands, whipped more with fear
with what she'd seen last.

"I'm scared, Wisdom. Please!"

"It's okay, Cassie," Wisdom held her quickly. "Don't be

afraid, I'm with you.

"I want you to see next how men thrived on the Earth just
after falling for Lucifer's deceit. Mankind increased on Earth of
course as the years went by, in population and knowledge, but
evil did too. There was a somewhat high level of civilization
and technology which unfortunately made evil rise."

123
The duo stood watching life as it went on, on the Earth. It
seemed as though the both of them teleported to the Earth of
that time. They could see how civilization with many
inventions took place on Earth. Houses of stone were built.
Large wooden ships constructed. Metals were forged
ingeniously. Different Gadgets were made.

And the technology level kept on booming ingeniously.

The anticipation of the fallen angels concerning mankind

was brewing so much. Making man fall wasn't enough for them.
As soon as they could, they wanted to infiltrate his race and
literally fill him with the kind of evil natures they had. Much
time didn't pass by before some emissaries from them
eventually landed on the Earth.

"Were people aware of their presence when they came on

Earth?" Cassie asked.

"Sort of," Wisdom's reply came. "They didn't appear as

demons or angels, of course. That would have refrained people,
so they came as normal men. Their strange-looking offsprings
were what made it visible that they weren't normal men. They
were called the Fallen One: Nephilim."

Cassie sighed. "Just to contaminate the race of men."

"Men were the heirs of Elohim. So they knew one way they
could pay a revenge to Him was to alter the course of men."

"But they failed."

124
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Eventually, they did. Realising the race of men were really

being destroyed, Elohim‘s Word had to come down himself to
deliver men. The Lamb that had been slain before the
foundation of the world manifested. That was the saving grace
that had been planned before. Those who yielded to it were
saved and became rightful heirs.‖

Time
After seeing lots of things that happened at the onset of
man‘s race on earth, Wisdom allowed Cassie to experience a
swift overview—like a panorama—of the rest of man‘s race on
earth.

She literally saw all the major events that had happened. She
experienced the vast operations and movement of time from
one phase to another. Civilisations built and established. The
rise and fall of empires. Generations evolving and waning.
Major occurrences in the cosmos which affected Earth. Even
the great battles and wars on Earth, the first and second World
Wars, were experienced.

Cassie literally saw everything pass before her so swiftly.

And they were very real experiences—as though she had been
there before.

Later on, she even transited into the future—the phase of

time that existed beyond her present state. She encountered real
but unbelievable futuristic events and conditions!

125
There were numerous buildings, contraptions and machines
that adapted all sorts of futuristic styles and designs. Men
colonized planets and even had space cities while ‗Aliens‘ in
stranger UFOs kept on visiting the Earth. She could also see
that video games and even books became spiced with
impressive interactive virtual worlds that greatly influenced
their objects.

Airplanes, tanks, phones and other numerous contraptions

were upgraded, scrapped and eventually replaced with
immaterial component that were more effective and durable.
Teleporting ascent portals replaced most airplanes. Tanks and
guns were replaced by launching contraptions that were fitted
to human and robots such that foot soldiers became deadlier
and more lethal than gigantic war machines! Phones were
replaced by chips that were planted into people with their eyes
and brains serving as displays.

Even the medical world grew and advanced swiftly.

Scientists kept on researching how to bring people back to life
after a 30-minute death but it however seemed to alter the
normal operations of the brain whenever it was carried out.
Visual recordings of people‘s dreams were tried to be carried
out in order to explain more about the psychological and
spiritual worlds.

One more thing which Cassie saw, which she couldn‘t even
bring herself to believe completely for a fleeting second, was
the somewhat advent of meta-humans and so-called special

126
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

superheroes—human beings that seemed to manipulate the

laws of physics and use them in special ways.

She saw a lot. Some she could understand and explain, some
she had no inkling in any way as to what they were or
represented. But she was sure that she‘d at least peeked into the
future time of Earth, seen and experienced a lot of
overwhelming things.

While the activities of man continued on Earth, Lucifer, who

was eventually dubbed Satan, continued to interfere in the
affairs of the race of men—working restlessly just to
eventually destroy them completely, revenge against Elohim,
and eventually work his way back into Heaven in order to
reclaim what had been his.

Unceasingly, he and his demons were preparing smartly

with enough equipment for a final massive invasion of the
Third Heaven and assault of the other angels, two-third of them,
that had remained on the side of Elohim for numerous
thousands of years! Together, they would pull them down and
annihilate the race of men which they loathed.

As the life-span of the Earth waned, Satan mustered his

chiefs, the commanders of his hosts, and planned secretly with
them again at his chambers in the cosmic strata.

127
CHAPTER FIVE:
THE WAR IN HEAVEN

128
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

T
he War Council chamber was engrossed in an utter
silence as all the war chiefs sat very still, not even
making the slightest sound. Satan was seated in front
of them all on his large black-and-gold throne giving them the
final address and wrap-up strategies of the upcoming war they
were about to have with the angels of Elohim.

On his left and right, in front, were flanked the four

hierarchical top commanders of the entire army with Moloch,
the Secretary General, while about forty of the other leading
war chiefs were seated in the audience. A large screen was set
up behind him showing the battle simulations and illustrations
of their battle plans and maps of the war zones.

"We've prepared for the eventuality of this war for

millenniums," Satan addressed them as they were closing the
meeting that had lasted for hours. "And there's nothing that
says we wouldn't win the forces of Elohim this time around,"
he boasted, stroking his long narrow goatee. His raven black
hair was permed this time around and his light face was
looking very diabolical! The other demons appeared in their
grotesque fallen states.

"The forces on the other side would never know the

enormous feat we are now capable of wielding. They fail to
realise we have prepared for this war for ages. Yes, we've

129
upgraded ourselves, and their ignorance would eventually cost
them a terribly gruesome defeat."

"All hail our lord!" All the War Chiefs shouted together in
unison bowing slightly, on their seats.

Lucifer smiled feeling very delighted at the rare obeisance

of the most wicked demons to him, a rare obeisance he'd
acquired through wise and shrewd tactics.

"I've given our Chief Lieutenants," he said pointing at the

top four hierarchical commanders seated in front of him, "all
the briefing they need to know about this war and they'll relate
it to you as soon as my meeting with you is over."

Immediately, all the War Chiefs gave a round of applause,

happy about the fact that they were commanded by those they
deemed most powerful and wicked.

The four mighty hierarchical divisions of Satan's army were

the Principalities, with their Prince as Asmodee, Powers
commanded by Ashtaroth, while Beelzebub presided over the
Dark rulers and Belial the Wicked Spirits. The four of them,
Princes and top Generals of Satan's army, were donning shiny
black metallic breastplates with long black capes strapped
behind on their shoulders and sharp crooked swords at their
sides, seated on the sides of Lucifer himself.

Owing to his brilliant schemes and strategies, he had

subjected them all to his desire and had developed a very
powerful and resilient army of over 2.4 billion demon soldiers
130

ready to participate in the war and combat the forces of

Michael. His engineers had devised and designed various hi-
tech weapons that could threaten the efficiency of even angels
and he'd also established numerous capable Special Forces that
were appropriately trained to ward off any form of opposition
from their enemy.

One type of those Special Forces was the Special Knights of

the Gates of Hell. A special Force of about 240 million knights,
60 million from each hierarchy, ably commanded by four
extremely wicked fallen angels that had been bound for
millenniums at the great Euphrates river on Earth.

Satan was very confident. Left to him, he was certain he'd

win the War in Heaven that had been foretold for centuries.
Everyone had always said he'd lose the war which was an
invasion of the Third Heaven for third time. Unfortunately for
them, they didn't know the kind of strategies he had up his
sleeves that was bound to even baffle the Elohim Himself. He
was confident enough.

People were very stupid, he thought. Didn't they always

remember how his troops withstood a whole Archangel Gabriel
on his way to Babylon from Heaven in the days of Daniel for
twenty one days? So why did they fail to realise that his
demons could always sufficiently tackle the angels of light in
all their supposed glory? People also failed to realise that there
were principles to thwart prophecies and make them falter so
much as certain limitation factors were set against them—even
if they had been spoken from the mouth of Elohim. So he was
131
very confident of a decisive victory in this last invasion of
Heaven and war against the angels of light.

He smiled happily to himself gripping firmly the arm rests

of his throne but quickly cut out the smile so as to feign
toughness and seriousness. "Chief Leviathan!" He called out to
the leader of one of their Special Forces also seated amongst
the War Chiefs.

"My lord," Leviathan quickly came running towards the

throne of Satan and grovelling at his feet. Leviathan was
commanding the Space Navy of Darkness—a Special host that
used specially-fabricated antimatter battle spaceships divided
into Fleets and squadrons, ready to provide the bests of air
assault and defensive cover to their forces during their attack in
Heaven. In all, the host had just 6 million troops—quite few
but brazenly studded and effective.

"I'm certain that all your preparations for the Space Navy is
perfected." Satan inquired.

"Yes, my lord. We have built up an invincible and

empowered force and are ready to attack whenever you call on
us!" Leviathan smiled confidently. From his latest inspections,
he'd seen how all the numerous spaceships had been properly
fabricated and configured to pose a threat to angelic beings.

The battle spaceships were of different classes and variants

for different functions and utmost efficiency for the war. There
were the dreadnoughts, large battle spaceships, to provide
continuous fire attack and bombardment, there were destroyers,
132
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

there were corvettes, little manoeuvrable fighters, and there

were also transport ships. Some of these looked like the saucer-
like flying objects while others were like large balloon airships.

The four major hierarchies of the army of darkness consisted

of other small units and Satan had structured every one of them
by himself. Hierarchies were made up of forces and a full force
had at least 60 million demons which was further broken down
into ten hosts led by rulers.

Little squads made a troop of 100 demons, six troops made a

cohort, ten cohorts a legion, while eleven legions made a coven
of demons. General divisions had 200,000 demons and a
complete horde was made up of six divisions.

The objective Satan and his Generals had for the upcoming
war was still the same: to overthrow Elohim and His angels,
take over their Kingdom and establish themselves as the sole
rulers of the universe.

The strategies they had were also the same as those of the
beginning when their rebellion began: Lucifer's five 'I wills'.
They were going to however carry them out more decisively,
intricately, wiser and on a larger front this time around.

Their first step was to ascend into Heaven, the Third Heaven,
with an advantage of surprise, against their enemy angels. They
would ascend to Heaven from their territory using the specific
portals that led to it. Also, their ascent to Heaven would be in
different groups. The first group would be a decoy group of
just few troops from the Powers to outsmart and draw away the
133
sentries and Watchers of Heaven from their duty posts giving
room for the other groups to penetrate their defences and gates.

Every battle unit—hordes, divisions, cohorts and even

squads—would then take their strategic locations and begin a
massive bombardment right there with the aid of all the Special
Forces they had. Satan moved closer to the screen in front of
the demons where the simulation of the battle was being played.
He zoomed in on the entire map of Heaven, highlighting to the
demon War Chiefs where each of their units was to attack from.
The four main sides of Heaven were to be attacked by each of
the four hierarchical divisions with their Princes leading them.
Other smaller units in the hierarchies would then divide each of
their sides into compartments to face respectively.

"As much as possible," he emphasized to them, "different

sections of all our Special Forces would accompany each
hierarchy in their numbers as the attack is launched from all
sides." This would be the most decisive step. He was confident
that with it, all the opposing angels would be subdued. They
would break into Heaven and the supremacy of his throne
would be over all the stars of Elohim.

"From there," he told them, pointing deeper into the map of

Heaven on the screen, "every one of us would march on to
Mount Zion to confront the rest of the top Archangels—
Michael and his Chiefs—that would most likely be protecting
the Throne Room.

134
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"I shall personally lead this battle," he told them. "Prince

Belial and the command under him shall annihilate all the
Protectors while Beelzebub and myself would lead the rest to
face Michael squarely, more wisely, in order to render Elohim
practically helpless. After this engagement, there would
absolutely be no resistance and I will sit on the Mount of the
congregation.

"We shall further claim what ought to have been rightfully

ours since eternity. Every angel of Elohim must be captured
and incarcerated. We would possess all the glories of Heaven
and I will ascend above the tops of the clouds.

"Then," Lucifer breathed heavily giving a sly laughter, "I

will be like the Most High!"

"All hail Lucifer!" All the demons there got to their feets
and began shouting excitedly, very confident of his wise
strategies which he'd related to them, much anxious to carry
them out.

"All hail Lucifer! All hail Lucifer! All hail Lucifer!"

The War Room

In Heaven, three Elders walked beside Michael as they
headed to a conference war room in the Great hall of angels
where scores of archangels awaited them based on his call.

135
"From the leadings we've gotten from the Spirit recently, we
can tell that Satan is finalising plans for his last massive
invasion of Heaven," one of the Elders told Michael as they
walked together.

"The time has come, Michael," another Elder said. "The

time that has been spoken about for centuries when you shall
again lead the armies of Heaven into battle."

"The last offensive between the angels of the kingdom of

darkness and the Hosts of Heaven," the third Elder spoke.

Michael nodded his head. "The War in Heaven!" He knew

quite right too. He smiled tersely.

Soon, they got to the war room where their battle strategies
were usually planned. Other archangels were there—the
commanders of congregations and of hosts and of legions and
other units of the angelic army realm. Every single being in the
war room was dressed in shimmering white robe with gold sash
around the chest while few archangels were wearing brazen
breastplates. Michael alone was wearing gold epaulettes on the
shoulders of his robe.

"Chiefs," He greeted them all warmly as he entered. "We've

not time to waste here. Satan's last invasion of Heaven is at
hand as some of you might be aware, and we are going to
review our plans once again."

"Yes, sir!" Some archangels replied.

136
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Quickly, Michael moved over to the centre of the war room

where a long table was. The table appeared to be cladded with
neat white aluminum panels and the legs were were continuous
all-round. On top of the long table was displayed a large digital
map that was touch-sensitive and all the archangels gathered
round it together with Michael. He was about to relate their
plans to them.

"Apparently, Satan's plan is to invade the City of Zion," He

said using two of his fingers to zoom out on the large digital
map that was displaying a large section of the universe. "But
we would not only defend the City of Zion, we shall also
counterattack, pursue them back and dispossess every one of
them from the planes they occupy in the heavenlies." He
pointed at the Cosmic planes above the Earth on the map.

"The objective of the Most High God is to rid all the

heavens—the Earth's solar system and outer space—
completely of the forces of Satan," Archangel Gabriel who was
standing close to Michael said, looking down on the table and
touching the next image of the Earth's solar system. The three
Elders and angels Zadkiel, Chamuel, Chrioni, Metatron the
Secretary and other prominent archangels were also standing at
the other flank of Michael.

"Yeah, a lot of these planets have been heavily infested by

the forces of Satan," Michael told them, zooming in on some of
the planets of the Solar system. "We shall empty every one of
them and cast the rebels down to Earth!"

137
Raphael and Uriel who were together were nodding
immediately reminiscing the prophecy of John in the Bible.
"Elohim's word!" Raphael breathed. Just like Gabriel and Uriel,
he was placed high to also command one of the three major
Commands of the angelic army while Michael was the Chief
Commander or General of the entire realm. They were going to
muster a realm of over 3 billion angelic warriors to participate
in the upcoming war. They had prepared enough for it, had
produced numerous weapons, armours and other supplies that
would be needed for it.

"This is the word and commandment of the Elohim to us

and we shall do as we're told!" Michael addressed the
archangels later pausing for a moment. "I've waited for the
eventuality of this war for millenniums—when I'll rid all the
heavens of Satan and his angels. When I won't have to respect
Lucifer anymore! I'm glad it's already being fulfilled." He
admitted.

"That's right," one of the Elders present there spoke. "For

now, salvation and justice shall come to the children of Elohim.
But woe to the inhabitants of the Earth, those who are there and
those who missed the return of Lord. For Satan shall descend to
them in full wrath!"

"How unfortunate it shall be for them," another Elder

commented shaking his head.

138
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Gabriel sighed considering that fact. "Indeed lucky are those

who made it when the Lord returned to the Earth to bring the
ready ones into Heaven. They are saved forever."

"That's right. That's right," Uriel was whispering as silence

pervaded the whole room for a fleeting moment again.

"In the meantime, we prepare for the War of all eternities,"

Michael said sordidly as his baritone voice kept resonating.
"Chief Captains Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel respectively head
each of our three major Commands. They'll give other
briefings and you all shall relate to each of your units all our
plans. Prepare your defenses right away and also make sure
every single warrior under you is appropriately equipped and
armoured according to the standard prescription of the Word."

"Sir, yes sir!" The archangels answered.

"Blessed be the Most High, the King of the universe!"

Michael uttered.

"Blessed be His name!" The archangels resounded again.

Michael nodded. "Dismissed."

The Invasion of Zion

The squad of Watchers paced to and fro in front of the east

gate of Heaven. Few hours ago, they had resumed duty there to
guard the pearly gate, and the ten of them in the squad were
139
fully equipped and geared in complete plate armour according
to the instruction of their commanding officer, Centurion
Astanphaeus. The other three gates of Heaven had also been
heavily guarded by other angelic Watchers of recent, all of
them, in an utmost anticipation of the invasion of the city by
the forces of Satan.

According to the instruction of Chief Commander Michael,

Astanphaeus, in charge of the century of Watchers that guarded
the gates of Heaven, had supplied various artilleries and
catapults at the gates in order to reinforce the defence of the
city at the entrances and he had also doubled the teams that
served there ensuring all of them were fully geared in their
armours in case of an impending attack.

They were confident and sure enough that the defences of

Heaven wouldn't be broken down by the forces of Satan. All
the combating angels in the city had also been commanded by
Michael to be ready for battle always peradventure Satan
struck at any time. For thousands of years, literally aeons, they
actually hadn't seen any of the rebel angels around the vicinity
of Heaven.

"Satan really thinks he can invade Heaven and conquer the

angels of light?" An anxious Cassie asked as she kept on
savouring what she and Wisdom had been watching.

"Well, it could be possible." Wisdom replied.

Cassie scoffed. "You too think so?"

140
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"It's obvious," Wisdom replied. "Otherwise the angels

wouldn't have had need of guarding Heaven. He isn't a match
for the Creator of course, but that doesn't mean he cannot
withstand and conquer his once fellow angels."

The squad of Watchers guarding Heaven's east gate there

kept on pacing round, watching for the slightest of details
going on, when they began to hear some faint whirling sound
from afar.

"What's that sound?" One of the angelic Watchers, the

Leftenant commanding the little squad, asked, beckoning to the
rest of the team to remain quiet.

"I hear it sound like the flappings of wings." One Watcher

replied.

"Probably just the fowls of air that are flying then," another
Watcher said.

There was silence for a moment. "No, that's not it," the
Leftenant announced. "The sound of the flappings is of wings
definitely larger than that of fowls."

Wings! Not of fowls. Then what? It couldn't be of men.

Apparently not of fellow angels either. None had left Heaven
recently. And they hadn't been informed of any incoming
angels in any case. What else? The Leftenant exhaled, thinking
very deeply and swiftly. Demons! He cried.

141
Demons? All the angels there felt absolutely shocked
hearing that even though they had been anticipating them.

"Unstrap your swords!" The Leftenant cried. Immediately,

all the Watchers drew out their long swords from their sheats
and held them sordidly.

Just then, they could see a dozen of dark beings, apparently

demons, flying and approaching where they were from afar.

"Stand your ground!" The Leftenant told the team. "Do not
attack unless they do first, but stay sharp."

Soon, the dozen of demons reached where they were and

began hovering in front of them with swords in their hands too.
No doubt, they expected the squad of Watchers to fly after to
attack them but they were surprised seeing them stand down.
They were the decoy group that had been sent by Satan ahead
of the main invading force in order to draw away the sentries or
Watchers from the gate.

"Why are they not attacking us, maester?" One of the

demons whispered asking the head of their little team
anxiously as they kept on hovering with grotesque webbed
wings. They were all in their fallen forms having rotten horns
and burnt scales.

"They don't want to attack first. They had expected us." The
demon maester whispered among them. "We attack them right
away and draw them away. On me!"

142
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Immediately, the demons flew forward to the squad of

Watchers with their swords launched forward in order to feign
an attack. They got to them and started striking them on their
armours—not piercing them though.

"What should we do, Leftenant?" One of the Watchers asked

while they kept dodging the attack of the demons and striking
back with their own swords too.

"We must capture them!" The Leftenant answered. "We

capture them and interrogate them."

Just then, all the demons began flying away.

"After them!" The Leftenant cried to his team.

"Forgive me, Leftenant," one Watcher said quickly, "but if

we go after them, we risk leaving this gate of Heaven
unprotected. Let's allow them go."

The Leftenant sighed seeing the demons fly away. "I need us
to get them and discover from their mouths the battle plans of
Satan. You can stay behind to guard the gate then. The rest of
us would capture them.

"After them!" He cried again raising his sword. Immediately,

he flew with his team in a bid to pursue the demons while
leaving behind only one of the Watchers. Apparently, he had
fallen for the plan of the decoy team demons.

The demons flew far for a while and the Watchers kept on
pursuing them. Soon, they could hear loud whirling sound
143
behind them again as they flew farther from the gate of Heaven.
They looked back only to see to their unbelievable shock, a
throng of other demons, from nowhere, heading for the gate of
Heaven. They were very much—some of them flew, while
some were running on feet. The invasion had started!

"Mercy me!" The Watchers' Leftenant shrilled in shock. He

had been deceived by the decoy team demons and he hated
himself for falling for their trick. "Back to the gate!" He told
his team as they headed back for it.

It was quite late for the Watchers already however, because

the numerous demons closed up rapidly to the pearly gate of
Heaven. The Watcher that had been left behind to guard the
gate immediately ran into the city, shutting the gate behind him,
and sounded an alarm in fear. All over Heaven, the alarm
resounded and all the angelic warriors inside geared up
themselves swiftly heading for the gates in a bid to withstand
the forces of Satan. The War had officially begun.

Some warriors had already been stationed with the artilleries

and catapults close to the gates. They began launching them
immediately, warding off the forces of Satan that kept on
increasing. The four sides of Heaven were absolutely swarming
with demons that were trying as much as they could to break in.
All of them in their fallen appalling forms, they were geared in
black.

Just then, from nowhere, numerous demonic antimatter

battle spacecrafts also began flying overhead firing at the gate
144
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

and walls of Heaven in order to tear them down for the demons
to enter. The skies of Heaven became overcast by the swarms
of the spacecrafts. Many troops of the Gate of Hell knights on
horses also flocked at the gates assisting the conventional
demon soldiers in their attack. Together, they were wielding an
heavy bombardment on the city of Zion nearly leaving the
defending angels powerless.

Satan's brilliant plan was going quite smoothly while the

battle ensued. All the hierarchical division Generals kept on
playing their respective roles while also keeping in adequate
contact with the other war chiefs. Once the defences of Heaven
were brought down, they would march inside also paving way
for Lucifer himself to lead the battle.

Victory was certain.

Chariots of Fire!

Michael and all the commanders under him flew down to

the gates, leading their forces, to counter the demons. Three
billion angels were being mustered! Different divisions had
been assigned to protect different parts of the Heaven and all of
them remained ably equipped and geared.

All the war chiefs donned shiny white armours and 'Roman'
helmets with gold accessories and shields, the other angelic
warriors wore steel armour, and they held blazing swords—
145
made of rare celestial steel, a hundred times stronger than
earthen steel, could ooze fire, and long enough to reach a
length of 1.5 metres! Some divisions of the angelic army were
calvary and rode on horses, some divisions belonged to the
archers that capably used bows and arrows, while few legions
belonged to the artillery force that launched heavy stones and
cannons of fire for bombardment.

Relentlessly, all the angels defended the gates of Heaven,

suppressing all the demonic bombardment. They expected to
subdue the forces of Satan quick enough but it was difficult to
accomplish that. The enormous heat of the battle literally
centupled with both sides fighting very fiercely that soon, it
was limited to a prolonged stalemate.

A prolonged stalemate battle which turned into hours.

A prolonged stalemate battle which turned even into days!

Fresh warriors entered in constantly for those who grew

faint. Numerous angels and numerous demons amongst the
millions who fought became casualties yet none would die like
mortals for they would only live in a state of unceasing pain
and absolute weakness which was even worse. This was the
last War in Heaven and no war in all of eternity would ever
rival it!

The battle continued unbelievably for till the next day with
each side throwing the bests of their destructions. Michael and
his angels wouldn't bulge however to let any of the demonic
warriors enter even an inch into Heaven. They stood their
146
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

ground and upheld the strong gates and walls of Heaven for a
long time.

"Your lordship," one of the angelic war chiefs, a fed-up

Chief Jehoel, called out to Michael as the disastrous battle
continued the second day. "Satan surprisingly manufactured
demonic battle space crafts that have been bombarding our
defences and providing aerial support for their forces which
has limited us to an unbelievable stalemate."

"I'm aware of that, Chief," Michael replied. His face

intensely toughened and his heart hardened in a vie for victory.

"Authorize me therefore to release the Chariots of fire under

my command now in order to counter these schemes of the
devil!" Jehoel said sordidly as he stood in front of the huge
Chief Commander. Singlehandedly, a special host of the
Chariots of fire called 'the Rakavish' had been placed under his
command for a long while, comprising of over 4 million
chariots.

Michael lifted his eye brows and looked at Jehoel for a

while. "The Spirit of the Lord is our commander and guide,
Jehoel, and you've heeded His leading now. Go in this might
therefore and bring to naught the devices of Satan!" Michael
was confident. With this, they would drive back the forces of
Satan, take this battle to their own territory and derive a
decisive victory.

"Thanks, your lordship!" Jehoel said delightedly, slightly

bowing his head for Michael. Straightaway, he flew to celestial
147
stronghold where the horses and chariots of fire were kept.
They were released and the numerous burning seraphim
warriors under his command immediately rode them heading
swiftly to the gates of Heaven with great terror to annihilate the
special forces of darkness. Jehoel himself led the host.

The chariots of fire accelerated at a tremendous speed,

travelling like lightning. The horses and the chariots and their
wheels had been created out of the material of fire precisely by
the Elohim and were living entities. Swiftly they rode into the
skies and attacked the demonic space crafts, spitting waves of
fire at them. With time, most of the space crafts were
tremendously damaged that they began to crash or retreat
immediately. Other forces of Satan on the ground were also
severely burnt by the chariots of fire that they began to retreat
regrettably.

With the waves of fire landing on them from the chariots,

and the attacks of the resistant angelic warriors of Michael, the
numerous demons could no longer proceed in any way. They
had to retreat on all the four sides of Heaven, a lot of them
severely injured and tormented by the gross fierceness of the
battle.

Noticing that the warriors of darkness had been subdued,

Michael gave the command to all his war chiefs and all his
warriors. "Pursue and overtake!"

Appointed cherubs on different fronts in the battle began

blowing horns immediately, alerting all the angels to pursue the
148
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

retreating forces of darkness. Apparently Chief Jehoel had led a

priceless victory that day and had neutralized the prolonged
battle.

Immediately, all the angelic warriors in all their units began

trooping out of the city in order to pursue the forces of Satan to
their own territory in the Second Heaven and engage them
there. Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel, the Chief Captains, dubbed
Crowns, that led the three overall commands, ventured out with
their enormous troops. One billion angels had been placed
under each of them. Congregations, units of over 360 million
warriors, made up each command, also commanded by certain
Chief Captains dubbed Lordships.

The entire angelic army had been strategically structured

perfectly. Conventional legions were made up each of just
6000 warriors and twelve legions of angels made a solid force.
A division was a 500,000-warrior unit made up of about seven
forces with a Commander. An host was made up of nine
divisions led by a Chief while an array had ten hosts also led
by a Chief Captain!

Squads were the smallest units led by Leftenants and regular

warriors in the army maintained the rank of a Star. There were
companies led by Captains and regiments by Colonels each
having a little 500 and 1500 warriors respectively, while the
Centurions commanded a century of angels.

The entire realm, under the command of Michael, was

however led and guided by the Spirit of Elohim in a bid to

149
protect the agendas for the universe and subject the evil forces
of Satan. Envisioning the retreating army was a major
breakthrough for them and all of them, warriors and other
workers with supplies, pursued, coming out of Heaven and
journeying down in space to the territories of the rebel
kingdom of darkness.

Legions of Angels, Hordes of Demons

Billions of beings filled the space as Satan's army retreated

to their far away kingdom whilst still being pursued by the
angels. Satan had hoped his plans would hand him victory but
the unconsidered chariots of fire host had literally crippled his
army and nearly annihilated the special host of battle space
crafts he'd invented. He had to call his demons back in order to
regroup and plan another massive engagement that would
counter the angels of light. Unfortunately they were still being
followed by the relentless angels.

By the time the angels reached the Cosmic strata planes

above the Earth, the Second Heavens, another gruesome battle
erupted immediately. Hordes of the kingdom of darkness were
protecting their territory and were throwing in all they could to
ensure its sustenance while Michael's forces began launching a
massive bombardment all across the vast territory that was
practically always dark with an atmosphere reeked of sulfur.

This was the battle plan Michael had up his own sleeve—to
take the War back to the kingdom of darkness—and he was
150
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

glad everything was falling into place. Even if they'd fought

intensely for two days to protect Heaven, he was ready to make
sure his angels fought unceasingly again in order to overthrow
Lucifer's kingdom. This engagement was dubbed 'the
Boomerang Battle'.

Within few hours, the battle heightened again as the demons

did all they could to ward off the angels. Millions and millions
were fighting in this inferno of war and none was ready to give
up.

Clanging of swords, whirls of darting arrows and rocking

explosions of cannons, stones of fire and other projectiles
completely pervaded all the dark planes. The war went on so
fierce, for long, vibrating the ends of the universe itself. On
every spot, angels and demons fought.

A strong and proficient commander, Michael quickly

apportioned various divisions and arrays of the army to tackle
various sections of the forces of Satan. Special forces helped in
flanking key and strategic resistances to capture some zones of
the cosmic strata planes as they advanced towards the
headquarters of darkness. This was a wise-enough military
strategy.

There were some elite Cherubim knight legions which

helped in achieving this, employed by Michael. The first was a
calvary group commanded by a Legate Jacin while his brother,
Boaz, commanded the second legion which was an infantry
group.

151
Together, they were versatile for special missions, fierce and
terrifying. All of them were of the fiery four-faced Cherubim
breed, geared in strong full-length brass armours, engaging
with rods of light weapons. The celestial rods were composed
of antimatter, shone bright light and displayed scriptural
quotations of the Bible which absolutely weakened the demons
when used to hit them.

Seeing the undefeatable tactics of Michael and the

unceasing rage of the battle, Satan quickly called for support
from the other numerous troops of his armies that were based
in different planets all across the solar system. As quick as they
could, within hours, they headed for and reached the Cosmic
planes where the kingdom of darkness was headquartered.

This encouraged the forces of Satan again and together they

withstood the gruesome attacks of the angels of light.
Ingeniously, some of Satan's war chiefs had brought out of
their chambers the special arrows called fiery darts which were
very lethal weapons and they used them, millions of them, to
also engage the angels, suppressing and repelling their attacks.

Fortunately for the angels, they had large shields which they
used in fending off many of the fiery darts. Realising the
intensifying attacks of the armies of Satan and seeing how his
troops were growing faint, Michael commanded all his angels
to quickly stand down and return to the zones they had
captured in the cosmic strata planes. There, they would camp,
rest, regroup, revitalize and set out for more dangerous battles
to eventually win Satan. .
152
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Seeing the ceasefire of the angels of light, the weary forces

of Satan also halted all their attacks and returned back to their
kingdom in order to re-energize and regroup for a more
decisive battle for they had been terribly defeated.

The fiery battle had lasted unceasingly for whole two days
again and the toll of the casualties had multiplied.

Battles of the Planets

After the battle was over, numerous medics of both sides

skimmed across the planes in order to rescue the casualties
among their warriors. The lights radiating from the angelic
beings and some lit fire torches are what actually helped light
up the grossly dark planes to some extent just for the angels to
function.

The angels were on the winning side, at least, to some extent.

They had succesfully driven millions of demons from Heaven,
pursued them to their own territory and engaged them there
where they eventually made camps, strong garrisons, in—ready
to uproot them in the upcoming battles.

In their camps, they set up strategic spots for their general

up-keep to help in the war. There was a highly guarded
meeting tent where Michael would meet with the archangels in
order to strategize further on the war, there were armouries for
storing their weapons and ammunitions, stowages for storing
other supplies, large kitchen and mess tents where the angels
153
could eat and refresh, numerous infirmaries where afflicted
angels and casualties could be treated in by the medics and also
scores of watchtowers for their general security.

The next day, Michael, Raphael and few archangels visited

some of their casualties in the different infirmaries. Raphael
was also the Chief Medic of the entire army, so he had to
administer certain duties there. Apart from certain elixirs which
the angels used in healing themselves from infirmities, the
blood of the Lamb was the most potent ointment they had. And
it was powerful enough to also be used as a weapon against the
demons.

Most casualties in the infirmaries had been weakened as a

result of the penetration or blast of antimatter weapons into
their beings during the battles. Some had lost or damaged their
wings and some were nearly lifeless. Raphael instantly ordered
the medics in the infirmaries to administer the blood to them
which would help heal them, regain their strengths or make
them regenerate faster.

Rapha and Raphashanah, handsome young-looking twins,

who were in charge of many medics, had them deliver the
supply of the blood to all the infirmaries in the camp
immediately according to the order of Chief Prince Raphael.
More battles were on the way and more warriors were
absolutely needed. They would throw in everything to win the
war.

Tactically, Michael had ordered Chief Jehoel to allow his

chariots of fire host keep a constant bombardment, like air
raids, and also reconnaissance on the strongholds of the
demons as they patrolled around them. This was 'the Raid of
the Rakavish', and it proved to be very valuable for it kept
suppressing fire on the demons while allowing the angels
strategize further in their camp.

Soon, Michael met with the war chiefs in their meeting

room tent and planning for the next stage in the war began.

"Satan has fortified his headquarters by calling more support

from other bases on different planets," Michael briefed them
spreading a large detailed map on a table.

"That's why their attacks were intensified in the last battle."

Gabriel was clenching his fists feeling quite saddened.

"I say we change our battle plan," Uriel advised.

"Expatiate," Michael shrugged.

"Thanks, Chief Commander," Uriel acknowledged. "The

conventional tactic we adopted was for us to attack the bases of
the kingdom of darkness randomly, capture all of them and
empty them of the forces of Satan."

"That's right," Michael nodded.

"But I fear this may not work anymore. I suggest we first of

all potently neutralize all the bases of Satan on the different
planets together at once and cast all the demons to Earth. Doing
155
this would give us a decisive advantage of crippling all of the
different supports Satan could have from different places.

"Then we would face this his headquarter squarely with all

our forces—he'll be fighting an already-lost isolated battle
because his forces here would be very few—and we would
conquer him." Uriel explained using a pen to also illustrate his
concept on the map in front of them. Fire torches were lit in the
tent making it possible for them to see the map.

A wave of silence crept in immediately. Some angels sighed.

"I see your point, Uriel," Michael said breaking the silence.
"It's a very brilliant strategy. Thanks."

Uriel bowed his head.

"Any other suggestions, Chiefs?" Michael asked.

"Yes, Chief Commander," Shammah, a Major who

commanded a force, answered quickly clearing his throat. "It's
about the Space Navy of Darkness. My scouts tell me that
Satan has begun some diabolical repairs and upgrades on his
battle spaceships for them to withstand the antimatter
destructive fire from our Chariots of fire. He still has some,
probably hundreds of thousands, that are still intact and most
likely would use them in our next battle.

"My advice is that we prepare well for them and employ the
full force of our fiery missiles also to counter them," Shammah
concluded.

156
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Thanks, Major, we'll adhere to this," Michael smiled. "Now

this is our next line of actions, Chiefs:

"Chief Captains Gabriel and Uriel shall release their

commands to all the planets where Satan has made bases.
Gabriel's command shall take the asteroid belt and the planets
beyond them. Uriel's shall focus on those closer to the sun
while Raphael, Chrioni and myself would hold this place but
we won't attack until all the other bases of Satan in different
places have been totally neutralized. The special Chariots of
fire host shall also accompany each command.

"Please muster all your forces immediately, the battles of the

planets shall commence twenty four hours from now. Appoint
the respective units under you to take the different planets and
zones involved and attack all together at once on different
fronts. This would give us an advantage of surprise. Scouts
should also be employed tactically and stay close to the
leadings of the Spirit."

"Yes sir!" The chiefs replied.

Michael bowed his head as he stared frantically at the map

in front. "As the Lord liveth, we shan't return to Heaven neither
rest until every single agent of darkness is emptied from these
heavens.

"Dismissed."

Immediately, the war chiefs left and began mustering their

forces, millions and millions of them. Within hours, the billion
157
commands under Gabriel and Uriel each left the camps and
headed for the different planetary zones they'd been appointed
to in order to launch their new battle plans.

The forces of Satan in the different planets had completely

not expected any invasion from the angels of light. They'd only
expected them to keep on attacking at their headquarters so a
lot of their defences were practically loose. This made the
invasion much easier for the angels under Gabriel and Uriel.
The battles of planets was quite fierce but quickly quenched by
the angels with their different units engaging the numerous
fronts ahead of them.

Singlehandedly, Raguel, a Chief Captain under Gabriel led

his congregation unto the shores of Saturn and the
neighbouring realms to strike a deadly blow on the infesting
demons there. After relinquishing all their bases there, Raguel's
forces expelled all the numerous demons there into Earth with
the aid of the mighty force of the Spirit.

No single stone was left unturned. Every planet, satellite,

asteroid, meteoroid, gaseous space and even the comets over
there were examined very carefully to ascertain that no single
demon was hiding there.

The battles of the frontal zones—that of the sun, its

neighbouring planets and even beyond the stellar system—
were also carried successfully, however they experienced more
resistance. Zadkiel led an array of 45 million angels, together
with other Chief Captains theirs' under Uriel, right unto the sun
158
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

and fought one of the most toughest and most decisive battles.
With the mighty force of the Spirit, all the swarms of the
demons there were expelled. No single one was left in any part
of the heavens.

Seven sordid days saw them fighting the mammothic scale

battles on the countless fronts. But there was a tremendous
victory. And the prophecies were being fulfilled.

Hearing the news of the victory, Michael and the other

angels was extremely delighted. They were pervaded in an
utmost tranquillity.

The Counterattack of Asmodee

Loud explosions from nowhere were shockingly rocking in

the camps of the angels on the cosmic planes. Immediately, all
the angels started coming out of their tents in utter confusion
about what was happening. Also, the strata planes we're
engrossed in a terrible darkness so the situation wasn't made
any better.

Just then, battlecries of demons resonated in the

atmospheres and multitudes of them—literally hordes of
millions of them—started streaming into the camps of the
angels. Demons! They were running on foot, some were flying
while others rode on strange horses—but they were coming in
with full force and rage, immediately launching catastrophic
attacks on the angels. Apparently the angels had been taken by
159
surprise. They'd expected the demons to remain hiding in their
holes and strongholds, but then in a vie to turn the tables of the
war around, the demons were wielding a smart counterattack.

The hierarchy of Powers under Asmodee, one of Satan's

trusted prince, advanced unstoppably into the camps of the
angels with their swords drawn, striking many of them who
were still unprepared for any battle. Apparently, Asmodee had
assured Satan of a massive victory to drive the angels away if
they launched a surprise counterattack.

He himself planned and led the battle, appointing the

numerous demonic hordes to fight with him. There were also
many artillery units he'd appointed to keep on bombarding the
angels with cannons relentlessly while the battle ensued. His
wise strategies were paying off.

Seeing the vicious attack made against them, to rout and

eventually drive them away, Michael gave the order to war
immediately. "Attack!"

Numerous horns were being sounded instantly and all the

angels launched their swords against the demons also. It had
actually been days since any battle was fought there on the
planes. They'd planned to firstly destroy all the other supports
of Satan in his different bases before making any battle again
there on the planes. They had to reverse that plan now. Gabriel,
Uriel and the commands under them hadn't returned from the
planets, yet Michael knew he and the remaining angels had to

160
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

hold that place they'd captured and fight to drive the demons
back again.

The ghastly battle ensued quickly in all different directions.

Demons were trying all they could in earnest rage just to snuff
out the lives of the angels. They released the much hyped fiery
darts weapons on all the fronts. The demonic Gate of hell
calvary force on horses also accosted the demons, fighting very
severely and wickedly. One little cohort handed their demons
explosives like grenades which they began hurling at the angels.

Few hours into the battle, the battle spaceships of the Space
Navy of Darkness were streaming into the battle overhead also
to engage. The plan of Asmodee was for them to launch a
continuous massive bombardment from all their avenues for a
long time. It was going to practically be a blitzkrieg!

The angels had to quickly release their fiery missiles

division led by one Commander Peniel to counter the evil
battle spaceships. The fiery missiles were actually large arrows
with burning warheads that were launched from some
specially-fabricated whirling wheels: intertwined wheels that
acted just like gyroscopes. Quick enough, many of the fiery
missiles were already bringing down the battle spaceships as
they were launched into them. This helped to quickly subdue
the first phase of the battle.

Over and over again, both sides employed the element of

secrecy as they warred in order to establish surprise and also
ensure the security of their forces. They advanced with the help

161
of suppressing fires, took concealment, attacked any resistance,
then advanced again. This was safer and many units employed
it continuously for the battle went on for long.

A warful and relentless Chrioni was leading the host under

him as they fought with Michael to neutralize the uprisings of
the demons. Like the previous battle, Michael also employed
the tactic of letting their special knights to capture different
zones from the two flanks, as they advanced, to launch rear
attacks on the enemy centres. Jacin and Boaz who commanded
the legions acted accordingly, also brilliantly employing their
own proficiencies to cause many tricks to ambush the forces of
Satan.

Efficiently, the angels repelled the counterattack of the

demons. With a lot of the battle spaceships neutralized, the
angels focused on the other units involved. They employed
again even the help of their array of archers. The archers were
very versatile using lethal bow and arrows. Torrents of arrows
were raining on the demons and hindering them from
advancing any further.

The action continued for many more hours.

Seeing how tough the angels were with impenetrable

defenses and unceasing fire, most of the demons began
retreating. Rulers of their hordes tried in vain to make the
demons hold their ground who were filled with all bitterness
and rage nearly fighting themselves. Soon, all of them left their
positions and fled. Baradiel, an angel who held the power of
162
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

the hailstones in the heavenlies, adjured many of them upon the

demons and they were absolutely discomfited.

The angels achieved again another invaluable victory. Little

by little, Satan was losing his kingdom in the heavenlies.

He knew quite right.

Operation Black Persia

"The Most High be praised for the priceless victory we

accrued today," Michael said happily to some of the angels
with him as they returned back to their camps from the battle—
the counterattack of Asmodee that had failed.

"Amen!" The angels were delighted too.

They were ready to sit next and strategize more decisive

factors that would eventually crush the kingdom of the demons.
Never again would they be attacked by surprise in the war. As
usual, those in the medic team began searching for casualties in
the battle once it had ended in order to treat them, also
administering ointment of the Lamb's blood.

The angels used to carry out routine headcount and checks

for their different units beginning from centuries and
companies after battles and they carried it out again this time
around. During the process, they discovered that a certain
officer with few of his warriors, about fourteen of them in all,
were not accounted for. And they discovered they weren't in
163
the infirmaries for they checked for them there. This only led to
a conclusion, one so painful, that they had been captured—and
abducted—by the forces of Satan during the battle.

Unbelievably, Major Ulam and some of his archers were

missing, and they remained so for many hours. This stirred up
doses of confusion amidst the angels. Michael had to quickly
meet with certain chiefs to resolve the issue.

"Certain sources say they saw Major Ulam and the angels
surrounded by some troops of darkness before they were
eventually captured during the battle," one of the Chiefs
briefed Michael as they met.

"It must have been a precise operation then," Michael

commented. "Satan must have asked his demons to capture
certain angles for him."

"Probably for interrogation," added a Chief Chamuel.

"And to get the intel of our battle plans and certain

logistics." Raphael said too.

Michael nodded. "Yeah that must be it." His heart bore

witness too.

"We do not even know where exactly they'll be if we

attempted a search and rescue mission for them," Boaz said.

Michael smiled. "That would be no problem. Communing

with the Spirit would solve that for us.

164

"Gabriel?" He called to the Chief who was in the best office

for revelations. "Nothing says we can't get that info right
away."

Gabriel kept his face on his palm and gave a sigh. "Thanks,
brothers," he bowed reverently.

"Let the Lord reveal unto His servants where Satan has
detained our brothers," Michael spoke again.

"Yes, yes," some Chiefs were affirming.

Immediately, Gabriel closed his eyes right there and became

very still, entering into a solemn communion, a trance, with the
Holy Spirit.

All the angels waited silently for some minutes before

Gabriel's trance finished.

Gabriel gave an heavy sigh, returning back. "We are correct.

Satan has held them captive . . . in order to acquire information
about our plans."

"Thanks, Gab. Go on please." Michael was very attentive.

"They have been detained at the tower of Morongol on the

mount of pandemonium at the very plane which Satan himself
dwells in. He has filled the place with legions of demons in
order to safeguard the tower and prevent any of the angels from
escaping or being rescued," Gabriel briefed them.

165
There was an enormous silence in the tent again—for a
while. All the angels stood still, digesting the revelation
Gabriel had told them. No doubt, rescuing their captured
brothers, if they planned to, would prove to be immensely
difficult. The tower of Morongol. Mount of pandemonium. The
garrison of Satan himself.

Yet Michael had the final decision to say.

Rescuing the angels immediately, or waiting till the war was

over. It was Michael's best order to give. The risk was very
enormous. One that could jeopardize their entire victory in the
war in fact. But they actually needed to rescue Major Ulam and
the rest immediately for Ulam was the commander of a very
proficient force among their archers. Employing his unrivalled
gifts and skills in the next battle, the most decisive one, would
deliver them a special unquenchable victory.

Michael gave a sigh too. "Ulam is very important to the

entire realm," his words came out slowly. "And even if he isn't,
we are always going to put the safety of our brothers first in
whatever we do. So irrespective of the numerous commanders
and archers we still have for the next battle, we must do
whatever it would cost us, no matter how perilous, to rescue
Ulam and the rest immediately. For the Most High and for our
brothers!"

"For the Most High and for our brothers!" All the angels
responded immediately giving a round of applause, delightedly.

166

"Legate," Michael said looking at Boaz, the commander of

the infantry legion of the elite Cherubim knights. "I know your
angels are versatile and capable of coordinating the best covert
operations, search-and-rescue missions and other advanced
forms of technical warfare."

"Anything, your lordship. Anything for the realm," Boaz

replied chivalrously, saluting Michael.

"Very good then," Michael smiled. "I need your angels on

this mission. Ingeniously, we are going to penetrate the
defences of Satan at the tower of Morongol, break into the
dungeon where he holds our brothers captives, rescue them and
then return in one piece and with good success, totally
unnoticed. This is an absolute stealth mission. No single demon
must be aware of our breaking in until every single angel has
returned back safely."

"We are armed and ready, your lordship!" Boaz bowed.

"Ensure you review with your team what's going to be

involved, all the possible circumstances and details in this
mission." Michael paused for some moment, shifting his gaze
upwards. "It's going to be like the days of old again when we
rescued our detained brothers from the princes of Satan." He
looked at Gabriel solemnly.

"Operation Black Persia!" Boaz breathed.

Michael nodded with a smile:

167
"Go in this might of the Spirit that is with you."

The Mount of Pandemonium

The five knights were sordidly geared in their shimmering

bronze breastplates, Boaz himself, the leader of the team. Their
mission: to rescue the abducted angels in the tower of
Morongol surrounded by three legions of devils—through
stealth.

Michael was sending just five of his bests knights, ably

selected by Boaz himself that commanded them, to carry out
the mission. Boaz briefed the other four angels the details and
risks involved in the mission. Gabriel had handed them a map
showing the best route of approach to the mountain and
tower—that would be less flocking with demons, the picture of
the particular tower and the plan of the tower showing the most
likely spot where the dungeon would have been found.

In any aspect, the knights were going to be disadvantaged:

they would be far more outnumbered, would have lesser fire
power and would be on the risked of being captured themselves
peradventure any atom of mistake occurred. So it was a highly
delicate mission yet one that needed to be carried out.
'Operation Black Persia', it was codenamed by the team.

"No matter what happens," Boaz told the team, "do not draw
attention to yourself. Stay focused on the mission and remain
in secrecy. Never panic. Stealthily bind and gag any demon
168
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

that notices you. Our most important objective: to rescue our

brothers. And we must do so!"

"Yes sir!" The team members answered. Among them were

versatile Cyprion, who was a Captain, Epaggellas, a Centurion,
and Leftenants Nathanael and Immanuel.

"We also can't gate onto the mountain or into the tower
because the portals in these planes are controlled by Satan. It
would be very dangerous attempting to do so, so we have to go
alone by foot with our weapons on hand." The angels were
aware of this fact. Since the war began, Satan had locked off all
the portals for teleportation so no being was able to gate to any
zone in the planes—appearing or disappearing. They had to
move by foot or use wings.

The knights took the silent swords of fire as their primary

weapon to engage the demons in case their cover was blown.
They also carried other supplies such as chains and gags and
more importantly, pouches containing the blood of the Lamb to
apply on some of the captured angels that might be fainting and
also to use as silent weapons to weaken any interfering demon.

The Rakavish team had prepared a large horse-carraige of

fire that would await them at a designated point and extract
them all safely back to their camp once they had successfully
rescued the captured angels and gotten off the mount of
Pandemonium. Jacin and his calvary legion also stood by,
combat-ready, out of the camp of the angels peradventure the
demons decided to pursue the knights and the rescued angels

169
and attack them. The decisive mission was on course and
nothing was going to hamper it.

Straightaway, the five knights took off from their camp and
headed to mountain of pandemonium that was on the highest
plane of the entire cosmic planes. Satan himself owned this
plane, dwelt there and also had his palace and stronghold there.
The place was teeming up with demons. Knowing the delicacy
of the mission, Boaz and the knights had to sneak completely
unto mountain.

The mountain was very large and unearthly. In the intense

darkness of the strata planes, it still visibly appeared to be
made of shiny jagged dark coals. Patrols of the legions of
demons flocked all over on it. Boaz and the knights again knew
they had to begin crawling on it to evade being noticed.

The inner bronze breastplates worn by the knights helped

suppress the roughness of the mountain while they crawled to
the top. And the darkness also helped conceal them too. Soon,
they got to the top of the mountain after evading all the
numerous patrols of demons around them and were lying just
in front of the tower.

Silhouetted in darkness, the tower seemed to get its light

from a distant burning fire and it appeared to be eeriely
structurally crooked. A thick, yellow liquid was oozing from
beneath it which slid down the mountain. Other buildings and
strongholds were situated behind the tower.

170
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

A different set of demon sentries, about twenty, were

surrounding the tower and guarding its entrance, while two
large black dragons were hovering overhead, in patrol also.
The sentries donned sallet helmets with black capes on their
backs, also holding long spears.

Seeing the toughness involved in getting into the tower,

Boaz sighed heavily. They urgently needed to get into the
tower amidst the squads of armed demon—yet needed to do it
delicately in utmost quietness and secrecy otherwise, any
demon that noticed them could immediately sound an alarm to
alert all the legions in order to hunt them. Their ingenious
discretion was needed for this first phase of opposition.

"Mercy me!" Boaz breathed, still lying in concealment, not

far from the tower, together with the other knights.

"What do you say, Legate, how do we enter?" Nathanael

whispered immediately.

"Engaging them is definitely not the call." Epaggellas said.

"And we can't gate in." Cyprion was whispering to himself.

"We disguise. We feign an appearance," Boaz mumbled.

"What?" Nathanael asked.

"That's how we can enter," Boaz told them. "We have to

disguise like the sentries in order to enter." He seemed certain.

"Nice, nice. Suggestions?" Cyprion asked.

171
"Clandestine disappearance!" Boaz smiled.

Immediately, the five of them selected five of the sentries

that were isolated and far from the other sentries in their patrol.
Attacking each of them from behind, the knights quickly
sprinkled drops of the Lamb's blood on them which
immediately absolutely weakened them silently and made them
collapse to the ground.

Not wanting to blow their cover or draw any suspicion, the

knights had to quickly drag the weakened demons and place
them all inside a hole not far away—while also removing their
sallet helmets, capes and spears. Soon, they were dressed just
like the demon sentries with their faces concealed by the sallet
helmets.

The weakened demons would remain in that condition for

lots of hours or even days before they eventually got their
strength back and report what had happened to them. The plan
was very brilliant and working. Boaz and the knights quickly
proceeded towards the entrance of the satanic tower, ready to
enter inside.

"Stop there!" one of the demon sentries yelled immediately

the knights got to entrance, disguised in their uniform, in front
of the other demons. By now, the knights were in absolute
desperation and were almost panicking. Had they been noticed?

"What?" Boaz quickly uttered, feigning an husky voice like

theirs.

172
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"What seek ye?" The demon sentry asked holding a torch of

fire over the heads of the knights to try identify them.
Apparently, he was the head of the squad of sentries.

"Our commander has just dispatched us here to guard the

dungeons also," Boaz replied summoning courage.

"Is that so?" The demon asked angrily. "I, Sepha, have been
here for long and I haven't heard of any new squad being
dispatched here. I haven't been informed of such things, demon!
So what are ya saying?!"

"Just wait for a moment," Cyprion quickly said. "A war

ravages in our territory and you expect our commanders to
have the luxury of giving you commands afore time?" The
brilliant reply came to his mind.

Hummphhhhh! Sepha growled slowly quite unsure.

"Probably. But I'm just trying to execute all carefulness and
discretion."

"That's good, Sepha," Boaz told him. "After all it's all we
need in a time like this."

"Yeah," he replied. "You may go in, but I shall make sure I

sufficiently verify the command you demons say you have
been given."

Boaz nodded carefully and began walking inside with the

other knights, feeling almost relieved.

173
"Wait!" Sepha called them back immediately. "Which
commander did you say dispatched you here?"

By now, Boaz was practically filled with trepidation, unsure

of what name or answer to give at all.

"Can't ya speak?" Sepha yelled angrily.

"The commander of our lord's garrison himself!" Boaz

yelled back immediately feigning anger too. "And if you try to
delay us any further, no problem. But you get set to answer for
yourself by the time the commander is filled with rage!"

There was a sharp silence immediately. The demons were

shocked seeing Boaz' reply, unsure of what other answer or
question to give while the knights were nearly showing their
joy for how Boaz had reacted to protect their cover.

"Go on then," Sepha mumbled feeling very confused.

Without wasting any other second, the knights walked into

the tower. Gallantly.

The Tower

The tower was engulfed in darkness and a long dilapidating

spiral stair led up from the ground floor supported by large,
gray concrete pillars. Spaces inside were hazy with incense, lit
by sparse fire torches, clustered with cobwebs and dusts, and
the cloying odor of blood was mixed with that smell.
174
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

There were several stories of rooms and halls, some closed

and some open, all looking like caves of horn, at the flanks of
the stairs. Boaz and the knights noticed these details
peripherally as they climbed up. The map Gabriel had given
them showed that the dungeons where captives were kept were
located at the highest floors of the tower so they had to climb
all the way there. This of course was so that it would be
difficult for the captives to escape or be rescued.

As they climbed the numerous steps of the long spiral stair,

they got to a level where they were instantly met by a different
set of demon sentries patrolling inside the tower. This set of
demons didn't use helmets or capes or any uniform instead they
left their bodies bare—appearing in their grotesque fallen
forms. "Stop there, you cursed slaves of perdition!" One demon
confronted them immediately. He appeared fat and short with a
pot belly and oozed a terrible stench. There were three others
patrolling with him. "Why do you enter into this tower?"

"Haaaa! I say they are testing our patience, brothers!"

Another demon snarled. "Doom unto them!"

Apparently, this set of demons were more fiercer and

wicked. Boaz and the other disguising knights had not even
gotten chance to speak for themselves.

"Yeah," the fat demon growled again. "Your unit of sentries

are never allowed to enter this tower and you stroll in here
majestically!" He had thought they were of the outdoor sentry
unit which belonged to Sepha. Both indoor and outdoor sentry

175
teams shared a grave hatred, bitterness and envy against each
other.

"Calm down, sentries," Boaz said trying to calm the fierce

unceasing wrath of the demons. He knew himself and the team
had made mistake by wearing the captured sentry uniforms
inside the tower. Why didn't Sepha say anything about it also?

"Am I the one you tell 'calm down'?" The demon quickly
retorted, spitting torrents of saliva angrily.

"And us?" A couple added.

"By the flames of Sheol, if I do not report you bastards to

our maester, call me a fool!" The fat demon said to them again,
striking Boaz' helmet with the demonic sword in his hand.

"Ya type are never to enter here!" The other demon

emphasized.

Fed up of the wrath and delay of the demons, Boaz

immediately launched his own sword from its sheath in anger.
"Very good then, we are not your type either!" He unmasked
his face, by removing the sallet helmet.

"What? These are not demons!" One of them cried while the
others began to shriek as they saw him.

Immediately, Boaz and the knights applied the blood on the

shrieking demons from their pouches. Slowly and quietly, the
demons collapsed to floor immediately, utterly weakened.

176
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Phew!" Epaggellas breathed. "That was quite tough!"

"Tough." Boaz nodded. Quickly, they bound the demons

with chains and gags also concealing them in one of the dark
cave-horn rooms. They were clear to proceed again.

The stairs kept on spiraling as they climbed. It seemed as

though it didn't have an end. But eventually, they got to the top
most floor where the dungeons were stationed.

"Hold on!" Boaz, in front of the team, whispered sharply as

they got to the floor. In front of the main gate that led to the
dungeons were another fiercer-looking squad of demon sentries.
They also didn't wear any uniforms however their faces were
more appalling with longer horns.

"What's that, Legate?" Immanuel whispered.

"Sentries again," Boaz replied. By now the knights had to

remain very still, thinking of the best way to neutralize that
particular set of sentries. The demon sentries stood in front of
the brazen gate, about ten metres away from where the knights
were. They were just five but they paced round in patrol.

"I say we take them out with the blood," Cyprion suggested.

"No, Cyprion," Boaz disagreed. "We've used quite much to

silent different sentries. What's left with us now might not be
enough to strengthen some of our weakened angels."

"True," Epaggellas nodded. "Then we should take them out

in a direct fight."
177
Boaz hummed weighing the options very carefully. "No,
that won't be best either. They could draw unnecessary
attention. Let's distract them instead."

"How?" the other knights asked as they discussed silently

among themselves.

Boaz thought for few seconds. "We have to create a scenario

of noise that would make them suspect a prisoner is about to
escape. They should all be after to capture the prisoner back.
That way, they'd leave this place unprotected for a couple of
minutes."

Next, Boaz and the angels used projecting fires from their
celestial eyes to cut off a large rock from the top of a wall
beneath the floor where they stood. The rock fell immediately
to the ground, making a very loud bang in the solitary tower.
This alerted the demons instantly and four of them quickly left
their position and ran down the stairs oblivious of the angels to
find out what had happened. It only remained one demon who
stood in front of the gate.

Boaz and the knights quickly sneaked into a closet closer to

the dungeon gate in order to hide there in the darkness for a
while, while thinking of a way to take out the last demon.
Unexpectedly, the demon started pacing towards the closet
immediately they entered as if he'd seen them. Peering closely
in the darkness of the tower, the demon appeared very familiar
to Boaz.
178
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Mercy me!" Boaz whispered. "That demon's approaching

us."

"What do we do, Legate, engage or silent him?" Cyprion

asked.

"Neither," Boaz replied. "That's Crocell, most likely their

commander. A very shrewd, intelligent and dangerous being
I've known since before their fall in fact. Engaging him in any
way now would only blow our cover. We would engage only if
he sees us directly. Let him go."

"I see." The knights raised their eyebrows. Crocell was one
very shrewd being Boaz had known. Even though they'd seen
last thousands of years ago just before the rebels were cast out
of Heaven, Boaz could still recognize him amidst his horrifying
features—and knew he definitely still had elements of that trait
of shrewdness and sharp intelligence in him. Owing to his
unrivalled intelligence and sensitivity among his equals, Satan
had actually set him up as the head of all the sentries in the
strata planes and he commanded an entire division.

Crocell kept on walking towards the closet where the angels

hid in. He wasn't sure but his instincts kept on telling him to
check the closet. That foul smell, silent whispers and
suspicious feeling was disturbing. The hairs on his neck were
standing upright. He could just tell something fishy was going
on.

"What's going on to this closet," he mumbled to himself as

he approached the closet in the darkness. By now the angels
179
inside were nearly panicking as he approached where they
were. They could not afford being seen at all. They just knew
Crocell would pull off a bad omen for them in the mission.

Soon Crocell got to the front of the closet and banged its
doors hard, sniffing. "I smell something strange inside this
thing," he whispered to himself again still sniffing. "Those
angels are cursed if they attempt to escape." He lingered in
front of the closet for more while the angels inside remained
very silent. Why did he? How did perceive they were inside?
They were praying he would just walk away and not break
their stealth.

Unfortunately, Crocell remained. And remained. He was

sure no prisoner had broken out of the dungeon while they
were there though.

"Those bastards haven't returned. I better check what is

going on downstairs now.," he spoke out grumpily.
Immediately he looked back behind him to ensure that the
dungeon's gate was still firmly locked. It was, so he left the
front of the closet, walking down the stairs to go find out for
himself what had happened there.

A sigh of relief came out of the mouths of the angels

instantly as they heard his footsteps fade down the stairs.
Fortunately, Crocell had just left the closet and walked away,
leaving the dungeon's gate completely unguarded! Without
wasting any further time, they jumped out of the closet and
headed to the gate to proceed with their mission.
180
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"Nathanael, open the gate," Boaz said immediately.

"As you wish," Nathanael smiled. Quickly, he projected

searing fire from his eyes, like a beam of laser, and used it to
cut out a large section of the gate of brass which fell to the
ground. The bars and locks of the gate were also broken and so
the angels passed through, just at the brink of rescuing their
detained brothers.

The Escape

The dungeon was a long space that seemed to stretch

inwards endlessly, having rows of cells arranged next to each
other with a corridor in between. Each cell had its own brazen
gate again, though most were used to cage lots of treasuries and
numerous gifts. Thicker cobwebs, dust, demonic chains and
rotten skulls and bones filled the dark dungeon.

The angels checked each cell to ensure that their brothers

weren't in any of them. They were very close to accomplishing
their mission. Once they had found their brothers, they would
break the gate, rescue them and then find a way to stealthily
leave the tower, the mountain and then get to their extraction
point.

As they checked, they discovered there was a certain cell

where human souls were locked in. Human souls even in the
cosmic strata dungeon! How could it be?

181
The human souls, about seven of them, were bound with
thick chains, donned in black convict clothes and were looking
almost lifeless. Apparently, they were souls of men that had
been detained by the demons in the heavenlies while their
bodies remained most likely comatose on earth.

"We can't leave them alone," Boaz said feeling compassion

for the lost souls.

"I get your point, Legate," Epaggellas retorted quite politely.

"But this is the only clear chance we have now to rescue our
own brothers and face our mission." He didn't really buy Boaz'
idea.

"We'd still save our brothers. But let's face the men first,"
Boaz replied.

The angels had no choice. They had to follow their

commander's order—even though time was apparently running
out on their side. The demon sentries of Crocell that they'd
distracted were going to return to the dungeon gate practically
any time soon. That would break their stealth of course. They
could feel the enormous anxiety.

Even Cassie did too. Watching all the breathtaking scenes

all along with Wisdom, she could tell there was no scenario of
life on earth that ever could equal them. She could only keep
on sighing as she watched.

The angels quickly broke the brazen gate of the cell and
stormed inside. They also melted the chains and shackles on
182
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

the souls of men. Boaz was ready to release them back to their
bodies on Earth. Stretching his right hand towards them, he
released a force on them that eventually transmuted them right
there back to the Earth. "This day you have been set free by the
Lord." He declared happily with a breath of relief. Now, it was
time to free their own brothers.

They jumped out, leaving behind them an empty cell. The

cell where the detained angels were in was just about four more
cells from where they were. Hurriedly, they ran towards it
ready to also sear the gate. Just then, as they were about to
break the gate, the squad of Crocell's sentries that had left the
gate returned there only to find that the cherubs of light had
broken into the dungeon and were about to rescue their
brothers. Crocell wasn't with them though.

"What a mess!" Cyprion whispered. At last their cover had

been blown.

"Stop there!" One of the demons shouted as they all drew

out their diabolical swords much ready to engage the angels.

"Sons of perdition!" Another demon cursed as they realised

they had been tricked by the angels in order to make a prison
break. "By the flames of Sheol, you fools shall not escape from
here either."

"What are you waiting for? Attack them!" The other demon
yelled. Immediately the four demons charged towards the
angels.

183
"In the name of the Lord!" Boaz\ and the knights drew out
their own swords too. At the next breath, their swords were
clanging as a fierce fight broke out among the two opposing
squads.

The knights were able to quickly and skilfully relinquish the

demonic squad, binding them with chains and gagging their
mouths. One of the demons however managed to run away and
escape before they could bind him, unfortunately. Knowing
they had no more time or cover on their side, the knights
quickly broke the gate of the cell where the angels were
detained and entered.

All the fourteen angels including Major Ulam inside had

been totally weakened, also bound in unimaginable shackles
from head to toe and disarmed. Satan apparently didn't want to
give any of them an atom of chance to escape. Quickly, Boaz
and the other knights destroyed their shackles and applied the
blood of the Lamb to each of them. This made them begin
regenerating and regaining their energies slowly.

Boaz and the knights had to wait for a while. This was so
that the angels could regain their strengths enough in order to
at least walk. They couldn't carry the fourteen of them. Yet as
time went more, Boaz knew their chance of failing in the
mission heightened radically. The anxiety and pressure was
very much. Any second from then, the legions of demons
would be streaming into the tower to attack them. Apparently
that demon that escaped would have reported what had
happened to Crocell and the other squad of sentries.
184
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

They waited for few more minutes. Then, all of them got to
their feet. Most of the angels were capable of walking already
so they proceeded out of the cell and out of the dungeon
entirely. Pervaded with trepidation, they could only pace
slowly and carefully as they proceeded and also pray with
shrilling hearts. They knew all the demons would be alerted
about their presence. Bells would be ringing soon in order to
alert the demons to catch the angels.

"I perceived it that something fishy was going on," Crocell

complained, clenching his fists, as he stood outside the tower,
just in front the only door, with the demon that had escaped
and other numerous squads of demons ready to engage the
angels once Crocell gave the command. "I know they must
have silenced and concealed some squads of our demons in
order to break in."

"What do we do now, Commander?" Sepha, who was

standing just beside Crocell asked, ready to pay his greatest
revenge so much to the angels. He loathed himself for falling
for their trick at first.

Crocell looked up the tower to the floor where the dungeon

would have been. "We remain here, Sepha."

"And we leave the angels to escape?" Sepha asked in rage,

confused about what Crocell said.

"No. We leave them to walk down here right into our

ambush. Ringing the bells would only make them know that
we have discovered them and are ready to catch them. But
185
when there's no alarm and opposition on their way, they are
assured their stealth is still secured, and then . . ."

"Haa! I never saw it that way, maester," Sepha sneered.

Other demons were also feeling enthralled at Crocell's smart
plan. "Such wisdom! Such shrewdness!"

Meanwhile, the angels, nineteen of them now, kept on

walking carefully, descending the spiral stairs in order to exit
the tower. The knights stood in front with their swords drawn,
ready to attack the any of the demons that would be sent to
engage them. They were very relieved that their cover didn't
seem to have been exposed. No demon had been sent to engage
them, and no alarm had sounded. This most likely meant that
the demon who escaped hadn't been able to report the situation
to Crocell or the other demons.

Soon, they got close to the ground floor where the only door
was, ready to make their final escape out of the tower.

"Wait!" Boaz halted sharply, raising his palm, and critically

considering the reality of the situation they were in as his mind
was troubled. "This is strange isn't it? That demon escaped
from us about twenty minutes ago, yet no opposition has been
sent against us at all. No alarm or bell has been sounded."

"Mercy me!" Cyprion exhaled. "It's very strange."

"It's a trap they've set for us. An ambush!" Boaz was very
certain. He knew he was dealing with Crocell and ought to

186
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

have expected shrewd tactics involved. "Get up back! Get up

back!"

Immediately, all the angels began running up the stairs back

again. They knew it was only danger and ambush that lied for
them ahead of the door. Many of them were panting in more
trepidation now, realising how cunningly trapped they were.
Boaz was searching his mind and also praying for the best
escape means they could employ. If they didn't, all of them
would become captured and what they'd feared most would
unfortunately happen.

Just then, it struck Boaz' mind. They could actually cut a

hole in the tower's wall and escape through the backyard. That
would only mean they would have to fly in order to descend
safely and continue their escape out of the mountain. Without
wasting any second again, Boaz and the angels used searing
fire from their eyes to cut out a hole in the back exterior wall of
the tower. Quickly, all of them flew down and headed out of
the tower. It was a wiser plan they had.

"Why haven't they showed up since, Commander?" Sepha

asked Crocell again feeling very agitated.

Crocell hummed and shook his head slowly. "I've made a

mistake." He realised. "Definitely, they have discovered our
plan to lure them into ambush by not sounding the alarm for a
long time. They must have made another way out of the
tower."

187
All the demons stared in shock, feeling whipped of their
intelligence, in utmost regret.

"Search all the mountain right away!" Crocell exclaimed.

"Every nook and cranny must be checked. They mustn't
escape!"

Immediately, all the legions of demons began scampering

about in earnest desperation to capture the angels back. Crocell
ingeniously conceived that the angels most likely would also
want to escape back to their camp by using an air extract. He
knew most of them wouldn't be able to fly well for long yet so
that was bound to be their plan.

At the next breath, he released numerous troops of demons

to fly and patrol in the sky over the mountain together with the
large black dragons in order to create an impossible landing or
take-off of any of the angels or their possible support team.

The knights led the angels as they ran down the mountain,
escaping. The whole scene was like a nightmare. Troops of
demons from all sides kept on pursuing them hesitantly. Some
flew overhead, like numerous bats, and were vomiting some
polluted slime on them. Some in front tried engaging them as
they met the angels but the knights managed to keep warding
them off with their swords of fire.

All that was on their minds was for them to safely get down
the satanic mountain and head to their extraction point where a
carriage of fire awaited them to take them to back to their camp.

188
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

But the fight lingered on more, the devils throwing all they
could to stop the angels.

The designated carriage of fire that belonged to the

Rakavish team to extract the angels had been expecting them to
arrive since—according the estimated time—but they hadn't. It
was apparent that something had gone wrong—they most
likely were taking in enemy resistance and fire. Proactively and
determinedly, the horses and carriage of fire took off,
ascending to the air and headed for the mountain of
pandemonium.

More demons kept on engaging the angels as they tried

escaping from the mount but by now, the angels had halted
their movement and remained in a little trench, battling all the
invading demons on all sides almost hopelessly. Just then, a
wave of fire flashed down around them and consumed the
surrounding demons. The angels looked upwards only to find
to their surprise, the carriage of fire descending towards them.
It was also releasing fire on the flying patrolling demons that
tried stopping it.

Unexplainable joy filled the hearts of the angels as they

beheld the carriage that had come to miraculously save them. It
was at the nick of time. Immediately the carriage landed beside
them and they all trooped inside feeling the glory of victory
itself. At the next breath, the carriage flew up and sped,
heading directly to the camp of the angels.

189
A victory so invaluable and ingenious had been gotten that
very day. Mission accomplished. Black Persia relinquished.

And much thanks to Boaz and the Cherubim knights.

CHAPTER SIX:
THE LAST BATTLE AND THE
ETERNAL DISPENSATION

191
"W
hat?!" Satan blared in utter rage on his
throne as all his Generals—especially
Crocell—stood trembling in front of him.
"I'm not hearing you well. Do you mean to tell me that a whole
three-legion of demons could not hold just fourteen angels
down?!"

Intense fear was pounding Crocell's heart and his knees and
hands were visibly shaking. "We did . . . your er . . . lordsh . . .
we caged them but . . . but . . . but . . ."

"Speak up, you fool!" Satan shouted, getting up angrily from

his throne. He was filled with madness and could not take any
iota of what the worthless Generals were telling him. "But
what?!"

"But a little team of cherubs penetrated. . . our . . . our

defence lines and broke into . . . broke into the dungeons to
res . . . cue them."

"Bastard!" Satan hopped towards him and landed a severe

slap on the demon's face. "And you couldn't stop them all. You
allowed them slip through our hands."

"I'm so sorry, my lord . . ." Crocell was begging on the floor,

literally in tears. "I made a grave mistake!" By now all the
Generals were cowering in tremendous fear. Satan's fury was
something they never wanted to even think of seeing.
192
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"You're begging me?!" Satan's madness multiplied as

Crocell kept on begging. No doubt, Crocell and the other
demon sentries had spoilt his plan—spoilt the only source of
hope he had for winning the war—by allowing the angels
escape from the prison.

"Beelzebub!" He yelled quickly, calling his highest prince—

his trusted bodyguard also.

"My lord!" A horrifying-looking Beelzebub grunted as he

appeared in front of Satan.

"Take this worthless scum," Satan said pointing at Crocell

on the floor, "and lock him up in same cell where those angels
escaped from.

"You make a fool of me, this is what you're going to get. I

always thought you were very wise and shrewd. Yet a little
team of cherubs has disgraced you in the face. Fool!" Satan
hissed angrily as Beelzebub bounded Crocell with chains and
dragged him to the dungeon in the tower. He was never going
to let Crocell get away just like that. The escape of the angels
was shredding his heart each time he recollected the event.

"We have to prepare ourselves adequately for our next

battle," Satan briefed the remaining commanders and Generals
still standing in front of him. "Due to grave losses we've heard,
we have to use today to restock, strategize and make other
arrangements. You all should see to it immediately. Then
tomorrow, we make a full head-on attack, it must be our final
battle, on the camp of the angels and forcefully drive them out.
193
There are no more supports from other planets so I shall lead
this battle personally in my unrivalled invincible form:

"The great dragon!" Satan breathed as smoke came out of

his nostrils.

Immediately, all the Generals bowed before him and started

hailing him. "The great dragon!"

Seeing that, Satan was very glad. A crooked smile ran

across his features immediately. He knew he was ready for the
final battle.

The Final Stand of the Dragon

The angels couldn't contain their joy as they saw Boaz and
the knights return safely with the previously detained angels.
Medics had to quickly attend to the angels in order to hasten
their recovery. Michael had no doubt in Boaz. He knew he was
capable and versatile enough to penetrate the defences of Satan
rescue their brothers. And he really did.

By now, Gabriel and Uriel and all their forces had returned
from the various battles of planets in the numerous realms—
victoriously. It was time for them to quickly strategize on how
to completely uproot Satan and his remaining forces from the
heavenlies.

194
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

"One more strike. We hit it hard. We hit it strong where it

would pain most and flush these beings from here," Michael
said as all the war chiefs met again to plan.

"We shouldn't attack from one major front," Gabriel advised.

"This cosmic strata is in planes so we have to approach from
different elevations and eventually take all the battles to Satan's
mountain and strongholds."

"I say we strike at the first watch tomorrow," Raphael said.

"They would never expect us attacking by that time. By that
time, they most likely would still be making preparations for
the upcoming battle. So they would not be fully prepared."

Michael gave his trademark calm smile, stroking his flaxen

beard. "Nice game, Chiefs, nice game."

"We must launch all our offences together—the Rakavish,

knights, archers, catapults and all. This way, we create an
insuppressible bombardment on all fronts." Raguel added.

"I advise, let me lead my division from the lower elevation

planes. No retreating demon would escape our heat, I assure
you," a confident Chrioni said.

"All right, this is strategy we'll use, Chiefs, from the Spirit,"
Michael cleared his voice. "Like Gabriel has said, we'll employ
an indirect approach tactic. I would attack from the top
elevation, Chrioni and his angels from below, then Gabriel and
Uriel on the flanks and mid planes. Barakiel would help us
launch thunders.
195
"We besiege the strongholds, strike the forces of Satan hard
and evacuate them all out of this place. I would face Lucifer
personally. Again."

There was a wave of silence blowing in.

"That's it chiefs, the Chief Commander has spoken," Gabriel

addressed.

"This time," Michael said with the most determined face

ever, "we nock, we aim well, we fire and . . . we win!"

All the war chiefs left immediately to begin preparing their

units for their respective roles and giving them other briefings.

Just at the first watch of the next day, in the dark territories
of the demons, the angels launched their surprise attack. All
over, there was pandemonium amidst the demons who were
still unprepared. Chrioni led his host first from the lower
elevation planes and they alone attacked first with few archers
accompanying them. This was to feign a minority of force in
the battle.

While the demons were still trying to regroup and counter

the little host, Uriel stormed on them with all his command
from the flank, nudging deep into the mid planes. Then
Gabriel's command also launched out of concealment to rout
the retreating hordes of demons. There was practically no
breathing space led for the forces of Satan.

196
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Soon, all the demons with their Generals in the lower

elevation planes were totally subdued. The angels didn't waste
time in expelling them. Right there, they cast all the demons
out of the planes, down to the Earth. Accomplishing that, they
proceeded to the planes of higher elevation—the plane were
Satan himself dwelt.

Satan had been informed of the early surprising attack the

angels had launched. Knowing how weak his army was, he
concluded that the demons on the lower elevation planes were
bound to lose and be thrown out of their place in the heavens.
Desperately, he headed outside his stronghold with his
remaining demons and princes on the mountain of
pandemonium, ready to counter Michael and the angels. He
immediately transformed himself into his most cherished so-
called invincible form: the dragon.

The dragon was very fierce, mighty and ferocious-looking,

having seven different heads that branched out of its long neck
of scales. There were infernal-looking crowns on the heads
with a sum of ten long horns on them also. The dragon was
pure grisly red, had mighty, clawy, paws with strong limbs and
also had a very long tail, serpentine in nature, with spikes on it.
It flew with two large webbed wings and a strange diabolical
presence oozed around the dragon while it breathed smokes of
fire continuously.

Satan was filled with a tremendous joy as he beheld himself

in that state. All the demons were already cowering with fear as
they beheld him. They couldn't help seeing him in that
197
fearsome form. But they had to wait and stand their ground
with Satan. They were ready to repel the approaching angels
and defend their territory to the last.

Just then, thick smoke started emanating from nowhere,

pervading all the stronghold area and cocooning the dragon and
his demons. The smoke was so thick that soon, the demons
couldn't see beyond the mountain. This heightened their
confusion and despair because it hindered them from seeing
any approaching enemy.

"What's going on?" Satan asked, confused, as he was

surrounded by his Generals.

Just then, the angelic host of Chrioni with the array of

archers began attacking them vehemently, moving up the
mount of pandemonium and approaching Satan's stronghold.
Within minutes the heat of the battle heightened. Most of the
attacks of the demons were resisted because the archers
fighting alongside Chrioni didn't give them any breathing space
whatsoever. Tens of millions of arrows were raining down on
the demons on the mount.

Filled with rage, the dragon began vomiting long beams of

fire, aimed at the position where the angelic archers were.
Quickly, the archers and some of Chrioni's warriors feigned a
retreat—running backwards away from the mountain—
according to their plan.

Feeling the angels were getting subdued, Satan ordered all

the remaining hordes of his demons to pursue them and
198
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

counterattack. Millions of demons were running and flying

down the mountain eagerly in a bid to attack the retreating
angels.

By the time they were reaching the foot of the mountain,

they ran into the numerous warriors of Gabriel and Uriel who
had set a deadly ambush for them. Gabriel and Uriel didn't
refrain the slightest atom. They launched a very lethal and
deadly attack on the demons that sent them retreating up the
mountain again.

The angels went after the demons swiftly, got up the

mountain and began pounding their strongholds immediately
with fire. Chariots of fire, Arrows of fire, the artilleries, all of
them were launching irresistible attacks from different sides,
on different fronts! They were practically besieging the
strongholds and destroying them. The archangel Barakiel was
also launching his thunder bolts on the strongholds.

Soon, Michael and the particular host under him also

descended from above and pounced on the rests of the demonic
horde, cutting off any possibility of rearing up resistance from
them. On every angle, the demons were being bombarded.
Those who were not captured were terribly weakened by the
weapon of the blood.

Seeing Michael and his host, the dragon became very wroth
and began spewing more fire from its nostrils and mouth, all
over. "Challenge me, Michael!" He roared, spreading his large
webbed wigs and flying towards Michael.

199
Michael looked upwards at the terrifying, ferocious, faces of
the mighty dragon. "You've lost already, Lucifer," he told him
confidently.

"I curse you, Michael, and I defy your armies!" the dragon
roared angrily again. "We still unfinished task. Come to me!"

"You come in the strength and form of a dragon," Michael

uttered placidly, "but I come to you in the name of the Lord of
Heaven's hosts, whom you have defied this day."

Immediately, Michael raised up his blazing sword and flew

straight towards the dragon. A brutal fight arose between the
two. Michael was trying all he could to relinquish the dragon
just with his sword but it seemed his tiny sword was not
affecting the colossal dragon that even had several heads. The
dragon on the other hand was spewing its fire all over, from all
mouths, to consume Michael but Michael was agile and swift
enough to dodge the blaring fires.

After many minutes of the fighting, Michael decided to end

the stalemate contest between himself and the dragon by
squarely attacking the central head of the dragon. Fiercely, he
headed for that grisly central head and then plunged his
burning sword into the it with all his might.

Unbelievably, the fire surged from the central head down

into all part of the dragon's body and the dragon became
practically paralysed. After few seconds, it was collapsing to
the ground, and then, it was Satan once again—but weakened
of any iota of strength.
200
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Immediately, there were loud shouts of rejoicing from the

angels, all over. Michael had at last discomfited the Dragon.
Satan. Once again.

Filled with tremendous joy as a wave of glory surrounded

him in his resplendent white and gold armour, Michael stepped
on Satan's head, lifted up his sword and uttered the most
decisive and victorious words ever, in all of eternity: "You're
cast down to the Earth, Satan!"

A mighty force from nowhere engulfed Satan and the rest of

his numerous demons instantly and then cast them all—every
one of them—out of the cosmic planes. At the next breath, they
were landing down to the Earth in space. Again.

Michael and his angels had triumphantly driven the invading

demons out of Heaven, down to their territory, and also out of
all the realms in the heavenlies. They'd warred with Satan and
his forces for more than twenty one decisive days. No event in
eternity could rival it.

Immeasurably overwhelmed and laden with the greatest

feeling of ambivalence, Cassie knew she'd been greatly
privileged to watch all what happened. But the actual war with
its own events was still to come in many more years.

The War in Heaven was going to be remembered for all

Eternity. Satan and his demons finally lost their place in the
heavens before their great judgment.

The Prophecy fulfilled!

201
The Rest of Eternity

Wisdom showed to Cassie the remaining part of Eternity—

the other events that were to take place after the final fall of
Lucifer during the War in Heaven. They skimmed swiftly at
the remaining annals of Eternity.

A greater and more unbearable tribulation broke out on

Earth immediately after Lucifer was cast down to it. Anarchy
and Chaos ruled everywhere. And this continued for years.

Eventually, Lucifer was bound by the Most High and there

was a peaceful reign for a thousand years on Earth. But after
being released, he again masterminded a World Battle of
numerous men to fight against the Word of Elohim. This was
titled the Battle of Armageddon but this eventually led to the
ultimate defeat of Lucifer and all his agents.

For the rest of Eternity, they were contained and bound in

the lake of fire which they‘d dreaded since they were created.

A new Earth world was formed again by the Elohim and

those who had been saved and preserved eventually lived there
together with Him. For all Eternity.

‘You‘ve seen and experienced so much, Cassie,‖ Wisdom

said. ―Eternity is very vast and endless. But at least, you‘ve
encountered the major things in it.‖

202
T O E T E R N I T Y A N D B E Y O N D

Cassie nodded. ―I‘m much overwhelmed, Wisdom, thanks.

This would forever change my life, I know. But at least, I‘m
glad I took it.‖

―It‘s going to be bye for this while. Earth is calling and you
need to return back,‖ Wisdom told her. ―Don‘t stop taking that
sacrament. It brought you this far.‖

Cassie hummed. ―But before I return back, please tell who

you really are, Wisdom. Are you a man or an angel or . . .
who?‖

Wisdom smiled warmly. ―I was a man. But now, I‘m the

Head of the angels.‖

His answer was quite confusing. But she knew she had to
return.

―See you around, Cassie,‖ he kept his hand on her shoulder,

smiled and waved goodbye.

Immediately, he was gone.

It was all gone.

Cassie awoke in her room immediately, on her bed. It was as

though it had all been a dream. But it was really more than. She
knew it too. The alarm clock was ringing at 6:00am now and
she knew she had experienced mysteries, embarked on a
journey, no mortal has had before.

She got to her feet and smiled happily, breathing a breath of
fresh air, all her worries gone. She was special, she knew.
Thanks to Mrs. Oreweme. This was more than Divinity. It was
Eternity. Only God knew how her future would be like exactly.

From that day on, her life was literally different from what
anyone could imagine. She had seen pasts and futures, gone
beyond everything else on Earth and even Eternity. But she
kept it all to herself.

You too wouldn‘t have believed her.

TO ETERNITY AND BEYOND

Eternity continues to be one of the most unfathomable

dimensions in this universe—though not seen. Through careful
study and researches, Akin Akinsekeji has skillfully combined
theology, futurology and mythology into the chronology of
Eternity to evolve as a hypnotic story, practically uncommon in
write-up to many eyes that would read it and perhaps, one day,
put it into acting.
The book tells of the story of a young girl, Cassie, whose
admission into her Divinity college launches her into uncharted
territories and unfathomable depths where she journeys out of
the Earth and encounter live secrets of the annals of Eternity
beginning from the Dispensation of Light, to the Fall of Lucifer,
the Advent of Man, the War in Heaven and lastly, the Eternal
Dispensation.
Beyond time-travel, it is a story that launches the reader far
beyond this realm, into Eternity.
