This divides the Grade 11 student of Lopez NCHS on the basis of their
reproductive functions.

Goal Setting. Respondents in the study use this skill in deciding what they want to
achieve in their life after the TVL program.

Information Seeking. Is the process or activity of every Grade 11 student attempting to

obtain information from different sources.

Mid-level Skills. The skills required for every TVL graduate in preparing and upgrading
their performance for different qualifications offered at Lopez NCHS such as Agri-Fishery
Arts, Home Economics and Information and Communications Technology

National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE). Is an aptitude test geared toward

providing information through test results for self-assessment, career awareness and
career guidance of Grade 9 students of the K to 12 Basic Education Program (BEP).

Opportunity Seeking. The ongoing process of considering, assessing,

and pursuing market-based activities which are done by learners in the TVL track.

Parent’s Educational Attainment. Is part of the research wherein students in the TVL
track were asked about their father and mother’s educational attainment to know if it has
significant relationship to their entrepreneurial skills.

Parent’s Occupation. Another variable in this research wherein the parent’s occupation
of the respondents was tallied in order to interpret and analyze the relationship of their
occupation to the skills and needs of the students

Persistence. A skill wherein TVL students find a fact of continuing in an opinion or course
of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.

Persuasion and Networking. A large part of the entrepreneurial skills of students in the
TVL track to be considered. This includes their spoken and written communication skills,
in order to persuade, give decisions and suggestions or opinions.
