1 Introduction

Control programs are created with the programming environment like PC WORX or PC
WORX EXPRESS and downloaded to controllers of various performance classes. The
visualization can be created with the visualization software VISU+ and connected to the
controller by the communication layer OPC. Alternatively VISU+ allows using various drivers
like MODBUS/TCP and PROFUBUS DP for the connection to the different sources of data.

Examples of use show the use of various functions of the software VISU+ by writing out
exemplary applications. Examples include the executable projects which have to be compiled
for the control system used and downloaded in the controller. Similarly, the visualization must
be compiled and loaded in the controller.

Visualization projects that are created for example with VISU+ 2.02 can be loaded with later
versions of the software and will be converted automatically.
