Good Morning everyone.

The object that I brought with me today is the Boholano’s version of Hershey’s Kisses.

Bohol is known for its tarsiers, white beaches, and most importantly, the iconic Chocolate Hills.

Basing from my research, Peanut Kisses was initially developed by the family of Carolina Alvarez-Butalid
during the earlier 60’s in order to improve the market of their peanuts from their vast plantation.

They have expressed their appreciation to the beauty of nature by developing an artistic food product
which was basically made of high-quality peanuts and eggs, baked crisp to bring that nutty crunch in
every bite.

Later on, the locally-made peanut kisses were produced in larger volumes in order to cater the demand
since it became a hit among locals and tourists.
