ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to investigate the difficulties met by the selected grade 11 Pre-

difficulties is the Pre-calculus with the percentage of (66%) of the total respondents responses to
the given questions. Also it revealed that students find the subject difficult are that the poor
study habits with the total of (33%), boredome in the academic subjects with (12%) and lack of
interest having (5%) of the total responses from the respondents. Regarding on the said
difficulties, the coping mechanics of the Pre-Bacc. Maritime Students are those advance reading
with the percentage of (21%), self-reading with (12%) and (12%) is the positive mind set /
positive appraisal.

FINDINGS
We got our topic from the students of Educational Systems Technological Institute in
Murallon, Boac, Marinduque. We give atleast 30 questions to the Pre-Bacc Maritime to identify
the result of the “Difficulties Met by the Selected Gr. 11. Pre-Bacc Maritime Students of
Educational Systems, Technological Institute in their Academic Year 2018-2019” by using tally,
we identify what are subjects and financial problems they encountered the most highest percent
that they encountered is the Pre-calculus it has percentage of 66% and the lowest percent is the
lack of interest it have 5%. We did these difficulties because all of us or our groupmates
