JARDÍN DE NIÑOS

Numbers of students: ( ) Toddlers Time: 50 minutes (Per day)

Teaching aids: Worksheet, crayons, song, video, computer, and speakers.

Aims: Students will be able to identify and to say colors.


Personal aim: I will be working on giving instruction and on classroom control.
Anticipated problems: The students will pronounce some colors wrongly. The
teacher pronounce the word and students repeat in order to improve the
pronunciation.
Procedure
Presentation
 The teacher will put some pictures on the whiteboard to introduce the
colors.
 Students will watch a video about colors. The first time, they will see all
the video and the second time, the teacher will stop the video and ask
them what color it is.

Practice
 Students will play “color stand up and jump”. This game consists in giving
to them a color paper and they have to sit down. The teacher say a color
and the student holds that color have to quickly stand up, jump and then
sit down.
 The teacher will give worksheets where students have to colorate and
stick it on the wall in the correct category.

 The teacher will bring colors worksheets which will be in the floor. In this
activity, the teacher says a color and students have to run and touch the
correct color in order to check the acquired knowledge in the class.
