MCX Fundamentals

BULLION

Gold prices continued to fall on Monday dropping through the 1,290 level. The dol-
lar continued to gain ground early despite the comment from President Trump that
he does not want to see a stronger greenback. Late in the trading session the dollar
moved lower following soft than expected US economic data. The drop in the dollar
failed to buoy gold prices which closed near the lows of the trading session.

BASE METALS

In China base metals prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange were for the most
part weaker while prices reacted to the generally softer tone across the LME metals
on Monday and to continued poor economic data. The exception was nickel which
bucked the weaker trend on the LME on Monday and which was the only base
metal on the SHFE to show any gains this morning.

ENERGY

Oil prices rose today and extended its gains due to high hopes about a US China
trade deal which in turn boosts global demand for crude as well as increased
compliance by OPEC producers to cut production. The Energy Information Ad-
ministration reported a drop of 237 billion cubic feet last week while analysts ex-
pected a drop of 249 billion.

NCDEX Fundamentals

SPICES
The area under Jeera increased by 19% in Rajasthan to 506,000 hectares from
425,000 hectares last year with improved yield at 494 kg per hectare up from
489 kg last year.For Gujarat the Jeera area saw a marginal dip of 5% at 315,000
hectares as compared to 332,000 hectares last year. Now Turmeric is getting
support at 6678 and below same could see a test of 6612 level, And resistance
is now likely to be seen at 6842, a move above could see prices testing 6940.

OILSEEDS
Mentha oil prices slipped in the domestic futures market on Friday on lower
demand at the spot market amid adequate arrival from producing regions.
Around 12:10 pm, MCX Mentha oil was at Rs 1,599.90 per kg down by Rs
7.10, or 0.44 per cent. Speculators trimmed positions in Mentha oil futures
triggered by muted demand from consuming industries NSE 1.91 % at the
spot market and adequate stocks on higher supplies from the major produc-
ing regions.

GUAR COMPLEX
Guar seed prices went down steeply by Rs 13 to Rs 9,033 per quintal in futures
trade Monday amid off-loading of exposure by investors in sync with a weak
trend at the physical markets. At the National Commodity and Derivatives Ex-
change Guar seed for delivery in December moved down by Rs 103 or 1.13 per
cent to Rs 9,033 per quintal, persisting an open interest of 83,080 lots.

OTHERS

Soybean futures tilted higher in American trade to December 12 highs as the

dollar index fell off June 2017 highs for the eleventh session out of 17.That
follows earlier data from the US the world's largest soybean producer and
exporter while investors look for the results of the ongoing US China trade
talks in Beijing.

low it indicating negative trend for short term to mid term basis. For this week if it break the level of 32164 then it can
