ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS 2

 What is evaluation?

For me to evaluate is complex. Some teachers did not know how to change technically, because
we lack a pedagogical basis to do so. We believe that the student is in a state in which some
answers questions that we have believed. About the answers we qualify with a passing grade or
not. I think the evaluation is much deeper but the teaching has not been trained in that depth;
because we do not know how to elaborate a matrix as a source of measurement of the quality of
the process as well as the result.

 What steps are necessary to develop an evaluation?

We have to "humanize" more to the evaluation, that teachers and students have the same concept,
which is really about improving the quality of our learning and that the error does not necessarily
lead to being disapproved; that it is possible to approach alternatives where the student himself is
part of a recovery plan, he himself recognizes contents and strategies to improve his learning.

To evaluate must be a very strict analysis of everything that is going to be done, because in the
end it determines the achievements that are expected to be achieved, then, what to take into
account? Competences - Capacities - Indicators - Instruments. Within it situational situations
such as: conjuncture and special learning needs.

 What are the best times to apply an evaluation?

I think that at the beginning of each course a diagnostic evaluation should be developed which
allows us to recognize the skills and knowledge you have acquired throughout life.
Also I think that an evaluation should be done at the end of each course or subject. 3

 What can determine how reliable the evaluation results are?

for me, the results of an evaluation are fundamental inputs to make decisions, establish
responsibilities, establish goals, define criteria and determine actions that guarantee progress in a
process of coherent, relevant and sustainable improvement.
