Recommendation

Malaysia is a unique country because it comprises a multiracial society. In Malaysia

have three main type of races such as Malay, Chinese, Indian. Many countries in the world

make Malaysia a country that should be emulated because the community can live in peace

despite being multiracial, religious and cultural. This is because of the wisdom of our leaders

who make the unity of the people a priority in building a developed nation by the year 2020.

In my opinion, many interests can be gained if community unity can be strengthened in

society. The issue of racial unity is a continuous effort that must be borne by and upheld by

all parties. If the ties of friendship and the unity of society are destroyed, there will be many

negative impacts on the society and in general.

Gotong-royong activities ( community activities )

Racial unity can also be cultivated through community activities. It will foster the spirit

of cooperation and mutual help with one another by eliminating the selfishness embedded in

the soul of society now. Among the efforts that can be done in order to create unity among

society is with organizing gotong-royong activities. The gotong-royong activity is a channel

and opportunity for people in a residential area to meet and know each other. In addition,

these activities can nurture the spirit of collaboration to clean and beautify the environment

in which they live in accordance with the slogan " Negara Bersih Rakyat Sihat ". For example,

a gotong-royong activity that can be carried out is the cleaning of residential areas,

playgrounds, cemeteries and so on. Hence, gotong-royong activities can ease and facilitate

difficult tasks such as proverbs which weighs heavily, is lightly carried as well as well as to

the same hill on the hill, to the same village descended. ( Nadarajan, Y., & Nadarajan, Y. , n.d.).
Celebrating the celebration of festivities

Racial unity in Malaysia can be achieved with celebrating the celebration of festivities

in Malaysia together. Through the visit-visits we will be able to strengthen the bonds of

friendship between neighbours and friends of all races. For example, Hari Raya Aidilfitri,

Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Gawai Day and Christmas Day are the key celebrations that can

be celebrated by the whole community of various races. Through a celebration of a festive

celebration, people can express feelings of respect for the customs and beliefs of other

races. In addition, this culture can strengthen unity when there is less racial suspicion in

Malaysia. ( Nadarajan, Y., & Nadarajan, Y. , n.d.)

Sports and games

Sports is generally a physical activity performed for a variety of purposes like

competition, fun, development, skills, excellence and so on. Sports is also defined as an

activity that contains recreational skills useful training and contains certain rules in pursuit of

excellence.

Sports as a bridge of racial unity in sports Malaysia has a pure value that can produce

a healthy, healthy, non-physical and spiritual generation but the ability to strengthen the well-

being of various societies to ensure unity continues to be part of the process of diversifying

ethnic groups in the country. Sports field is not just a field of sportsmanship, but it also serves

as a platform to foster unity among the races. Sports is able to break the dominance of an

ethnicity, especially with the appearance of 'plurality' not only in terms of participation but

more than that, appreciating and creating a 'one-nation spirit. (Nadarajan, Y., & Nadarajan,

Y., n.d.)
Using Bahasa Kebangsaan

Language is the one of the way to communication and understanding between one

community and another can be realized without any suspicion. Information can also be

provided via the Internet and printed products such as books and newspapers. Many people

think that the importance of communication is like the importance of breathing. In fact,

communication promotes the dissemination of knowledge and forms a relationship between

people.

Malaysia is based on a multiracial population. For a country inhabited by multiracial,

religious and cultural societies, unity is very important in ensuring national harmony. Unity is

the essence that leaders often say in ensuring the continuity of national security. Many of

these mediums are used to create and require a special cohesion in Malaysia as a step

towards ensuring that the country is not disrupted by inter-ethnic disputes and among them

is to use the Bahasa Kebangsaan as an intermediary to racial unity. Clearly, these measures

accelerate the unity and harmony of racial communities in the country. (Langkah memupuk

perpaduan kaum di Malaysia, n.d.)

Mass media

Media plays an important role in promoting unity among the people by providing

programs or programs related to racial and ethnic diversity in Malaysia. Mass media play an

important role in the world today. The media is one of the most influential aspects of our lives.

By creating some type of information, the media can manipulate people's attitudes and

opinions. Over the years, this type of communication has become very easy and feasible as
technology has advanced. The broadcasts information as quickly as possible provide the new

information for the audiences. The mass media is a pillar in helping to instil the spirit of

national unity through the delivery of information, the formation of attitudes and the

application of positive values towards the advance of the spirit of unity. Racial unity is an

important variable in determining the political, economic and social stability of our country,

the public will be more vulnerable and more aware of what is unity. The community will take

their respective roles in an effort to create unity.

The parents

The role of parents and educators is a vehicle for building a future generation that

emphasizes inter-racial harmony. Children are like sponges they mimic everything that

parents do and incorporate what they see into their lives. Malaysia have different races and

skin colour of people, so that parents become very important to set up a good example for

their children. For example, parents should be greeted and serve friendly with other racial

regardless of race, race and religion. Therefore, since the young age of the child will be

influenced to emulate the attitude of the parents who respect other races. ( Langkah

memupuk perpaduan kaum di Malaysia ,n.d.)

The government

The government has a role in realizing racial unity. The government's efforts to set up

some campaign to spread the important of racial unity. For example, the Open House Council

to welcome the major races of Malaysia are welcomed. According to Prime Minister, the

concept of One Malaysia can be achieved through this event. The Seminar has held an open

house, a multi-ethnic, multi-ethnic community that gives high commitment. Bringing

themselves and tying their relationships with people of diverse races and backgrounds. These

interactions amongst such councils can strengthen inter-racial relations in Malaysia. ( Usaha

Memupuk Perpaduan Kaum ,n.d.).

Education system

Education plays a vital role in nurturing successful people. It gives us the opportunity

to become a productive member of a civilized society by acquiring all the necessary skills.

Education system is a short-term communication to realize this desire. The introduction of

the same educational unit of education by the Ministry of Education Malaysia has created a

solidarity. In addition, the school of insight that places three types of schools, national schools,

schools of Chinese and Tamil national schools also accelerate the process of racial unity. For

example, the group's activities were strengthened in the community level at the school level.

In addition, the use of the Malay language, the official language of our country as a national

language in national schools, also allows the reader to interact with each other such as the

slogan of the language of the nation's soul. His ideal is that we should not deny that the

education system of the country is a catalyst in the process of empowering fellow-relations

races. ( Usaha Memupuk Perpaduan Kaum ,n.d.)

National Day

As we all know on August 31, 1957 is the sacred date of national independence. The

National Day celebration is indeed opening another road in an effort to foster unity in

Malaysia. Normally, various races will participate in the celebration every year. Through a

variety of activities carried out, it is possible to increase the conviction and harmony between

the various communities in Malaysia. In addition, appreciation of the theme of the National
Day celebration. Indeed, all races in Malaysia need to understand that the independence

achieved today and needs to be looked after as Malaysia is only one. ( Nadarajan, Y., &

Nadarajan, Y., n.d.)

Reducing the racial economic gap

The government should also be committed to reducing the racial economic gap. This

is to ensure that the standard of living of Malaysians is always the same so that there is no

conflict between racial prejudice and prejudice. For example, the government should

encourage various races to join government services such as armed forces and police. Strictly

speaking, the government needs to restructure the structure of the economy so that all races

of all economies are not demonopolized by one race.

First, economic mastery shows a wide gap for every races. The majority of Malays

dominate the agricultural sector which requires a lot of human resources and low technology.

For the Chinese, which generally dominate the more advanced sectors such as business, trade

and use modern technology. Meanwhile, the Indians are involved with plantations in rubber

and oil palm estates. The statement here has allowed us to conclude that there is a significant

and disproportionate income gap in the Malaysian economy. (Langkah memupuk perpaduan
