predicaments of the trios, who are unable to do anything to change their fate. Discrimination against

captured them and the news reporters who were interviewing the trio in a car. They were using the
zoomed-in lense of the camera and recording the face close up, even though they are about 30
meters away. These immigrants were left behind by the society and didn’t receive proper education.
Fuelled by unfairness and hatred, these immigrants felt like they belong to this place and started to
resort to violence. From the settings, France has little tolerance towards the immigrants and the
social spaces in this case, the way the housing settlements were allocated to the immigrants, further
exacerbates the discrimination.
