Title: Portable Laser Leveling Device

Comments:
 There are missing points in the background of the study.

 Improve the discussion in the project design.

 The conceptual model of the study is incorrect.

 The actual project is different from the 3D drawing proposed.

 PVC type of material used in the head of the device is so flexible that
may affect the accuracy of the results.

 Fastening from the start can already make changes in the structure of
the head of the device.

 Tilting of the head part to other directions and even small movements,
make a difference and error.

 Some materials used are cheap.

 Inaccuracy of the device is highly observed.

 The device is inclined at a certain degree which is not supposed to

because of unevenness in the platform.

 Wirings are appropriately placed.

 Vertical distance is limited.

 The center point is difficult to get because of the blur due to the
scattering of the laser light as the distance gets far.

 The context and the flow in the project development are appropriate.

 Usage of first person is observed in the project development which is

unsuitable.

 Schematic diagram context is incorrect.

Recommendations:

 Revised the background of the study and include other project studies’
designs which are incorporated in the project.

 Improved the introduction in every subtopic.

 Discuss in the project design the process of doing the whole project
from its top to bottom.

 Explain in the discussion of project design the functions of every part

and its proper attachment for the assembly. Also include disassembling
process.

 Create a distinctive specification of the device created.

 Study the specifications of every material used.

 State the specific laser used, its state, and the common diameter of
the laser available in the market.

 Make it a user-friendly device.

 Change the Conceptual Paradigm.

 The project should be capable of adjustments, especially in tilting the

head of the device on other directions.

 Focus on how to make the device exact and more accurate.

 Use a high-strength PVC available in the market.

 Manage to generate small movements in the device without causing
errors and huge discrepancy.

 Place a screw knot in the head to keep it levelled even if tilted.

 Make the platform smooth when tilting to other angles.

 Place something for calibration if possible.

 Modify the laser holder and make it capable of holding lasers with
varying diameter and brand.

 Make the laser holder rigid to avoid misalignment of level

 Create its own regulator for easy adjustments.

 The laser used is in solid state, study how will it be possible working
with different state of laser.

 Use a high-strength PVC available in the market.

 Use bevel gear, belt-type or sprocket to minimize unnecessary

movement when tilting the device.

 Include other related studies governing gear types.

 Detailed the parts and mechanism in order to specify incorrections.

 Discuss in the testing procedure the efficiency and workability of the

device. Include also the evaluation of accuracy and calibration of the
device.

 Indicate the normal distribution in the data analysis, and also use one-
sigma limit for the acceptability of the results.

 Use three stations for the test with different tripod heights as the
independent variable.

 Schematic diagram should involve the process of how the device works
and the troubleshooting.
 Conceptualize the Pert CPM and work breakdown and include in the
project evaluation result.

 The context in the project management and fabrication should be

placed in the project development.

 The description of the final output of the project should be the content
of the project description. Discuss the state of the materials used and
the depiction of the name of the device created.

 The discussion in the operation procedure should be more like an

operation manual.

Remarks:

 Improve papers, change some of the materials used and redesign

some of the parts for more accurate levelling.
