2018-­‐2019  School  Improvement  Goals  

Literacy  3-­‐8:  We  will  double  the  number  of  students  scoring  in  levels  4  or  5  on  the  PARCC  reading  portion.    25  were  
proficient  on  the  17-­‐18  test  administration  (24  in  level  4  and  1  in  level  5)  so  50  students  (3rd-­‐5;  4th-­‐5;  5th-­‐3;  6th-­‐11;  7th-­‐
2;  8th-­‐3:    Total  of  29  targeted  for  improvement)  will  be  proficient  at  the  18-­‐19  administration.      

Math:  We  will  double  the  number  of  students  scoring  in  levels  4  or  5  on  the  PARCC  math  portion.  17  students  were  
proficient  on  the  17-­‐18  test  administration  (17  in  level  4)  so  34  students  (3rd-­‐4;  4th-­‐3;  5th-­‐5;  6th-­‐5;  7th-­‐7;  8th-­‐0:  Total  of  
24  targeted  for  improvement)  will  be  proficient  at  the  18-­‐19  administration.    

Social  Studies/Science:  We  will  increase  assessment  scores  on  social  studies  and  science  assessments  by  30  percent  or  
more  from  beginning  of  unit  to  end  of  unit  assessments.  If  students  test  out  of  specific  curricula  we  will  engage  those  
students  in  personalized  learning  to  expand  on  concepts  addressed  in  the  current  unit.
