BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

This project was a yearly community extension service of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants
where in the adopted school which is the Lucena City National Highschool will be benefited. The
Accounting Lecture Series is every Friday or Tuesday where in a particular topic is given to the lecturer
and it is all about the basic accounting. Its purpose is to develop young professionals and learn
accounting in their young age. Also to develop their passion in business and mold them to a business
minded person. We chose a track of ABM students to furnish what they learn.

RESULTS/OUTCOMES/BENEFITS OF THE PROJECT

The project was successful. Every meeting we feel their excitement to learn new thing about accounting.
As time goes by, we the lectures are happy to see them and our time was so precious when we were
them. Sometimes, when there is enough time we asked them about their lives. So it is a mutual benefit
because we also learn from them. We also have a quality time to have our jokes with them and to
become friends with them. We the lecturers in our young age we knew how to deal with students and
how happy to become a teacher. As an accountancy students, we may also go to the field of academe.
We all hope that these students will become a successful businessmen and accountants someday. 

After the discussion, lecturers and the ABM students together with their adviser took a photo as a
remembrance of the lecturers.

The lecturers tested the understanding of their students by conducting an activity answering the
given problems.

Day 5: January 23, 2018

JPIAns as lecturers believe that recitation is one of the effective tools on enhancing
communication skills of their students. Therefore, they ask the students one by one to answer the
sample questions orally.
