P ROJECTS
Robotic Cake Decorator (Capstone)
Built a cake decorator that takes a user inputted image and recreates the image on the surface of a cake using
frosting. The system is composed of an x-y-z plotter and a frosting extruder powered by a linear actuator to
extrude frosting onto the cake. The software took images, created a color bitmap of the image, and output the
gcode movement instructions.
Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers Innoservice (Team Competition)
Developed a prototype hairbrush that allowed users to simultaneously style and dry their hair. The brush was
modeled in SolidWorks, and then created using Styrofoam and capillary tubes to draw water out of the hair.
3D Printed Garbage Can Handle
Created an attachable handle for my grandparent’s automatic garbage can after they stopped replacing the
batteries. The design is composed of a handle that I designed and printed on my 3D printer, and embedded
magnets into the bottom of the handle to create a connection to the lid of the can.
