Introductory Speech

Today, this task of introducing our guest of honor and speaker is a great privilege. I know this one is
difficult but the thought that she is a woman of virtue and simplicity, I feel elated to introduce her to
everyone today. After all, she a living inspiration to the young once – O-N-C-E and the young ones – O-
N-E-S… I mean our parents and our dear graduates.

If one takes a closer look at the alchemy of the achieving person, two distinct virtues pop up, besides
perseverance and hard work. These are: pioneering spirit and willingness. Our guest honor and speaker
today is the living idiom of a woman who happened to be born at the right time at the right place.
Coupled with an impressive background, it was not therefore surprising that she became a Faculty
member and presently a successful Senior High School Coordinator of Brokenshire College, Madapo,
Davao City.

When asked about her… Who she is may not be a surprise. After all, she had become the person she is
now because of the virtues and values that was developed during her education in Davao City Special
School in Elementary, Davao City Special National High School in Secondary, University of Southeastern
Philippines in Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English graduated as Cum Laude that made her
a Civil Service Commission Honor Graduate Eligible, and in University of Immaculate as Master of Arts in
Education major in English (MAEd-English). She passed her Licensure Examination for Teachers in
September 25, 2011. Many may be said by others about our guest of honor and speaker, accounts of
tales of stories but remains to be good and true is the fact the this young woman of the hour is
incomparable to her genuine intentions to fulfill her chosen vocation- as a devoted teacher- of the youth
who needed much help and attention.

Our guest of honor and speaker was born in Davao City on May 30, 1990. A single and good daughter of
her parents namely Danilo D. Martinez and Loremar A. Martinez.

And now, my friends, ladies and gentlemen, I feel very proud to present to you one of the talented
alumna of Davao City Special National High School….

Please help me welcome …. MS. DULCE MARIE A. MARTINEZ, MAEd
