Abstract: The aim of this case study is to analyze and find out the inherent weaknesses in the
performance appraisal of the organization, so as to make necessary suggestions for making it more
effective

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This study deals with the teams in TATA JOHNSON CONTROLS, Chennai. It focuses on the
team members behaviour which generate attribute of the group cohesiveness that in turn affects the
team performance. TATA JOHNSON CONTROLS is a joint venture between Tata Auto Comp
Systems Limited and Johnson Controls Inc, USA. It was incorporated in 1995 to design and
manufacture world class seating systems for four wheelers.
The primary objective of this project is to study the level of team performance of employees
on the various factors provided by TATA JOHNSON CONTROLS. This study is conducted among
100 employees. Questionnaire is used for data collection. This study is limited only to the workers /
labourers in the organization.
