CHAPTER 4

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION

The preceding chapters provided an overview of the topic under consideration- an

examination of the effects of Time Management in Academic Performances of Accountancy,

Business and Management in Asia Pacific College of Advanced Studies. Following the literature

review, the methodological procedures for the study were outlined. This chapter will include a

presentation of the results from the analysis conducted to address each research question.

Based on the questionnaire that we give to the students of Accountancy, Business and

Management both grade 11 and 12, 37 percent of the highest percentage of the students of

Accountancy, Business and Management who spends their time in studying of about 1- 2 hours.

Second to highest percentage is the both 23 percent of the students who spends their time in

studying of about 3-4 hours and 7-8 hours. And lastly, 17 percent of the students studying of about

5-6 hours.

As you can see on the graph of figure 3, 73 percent of the students said yes that time is

enough to study a certain lesson and 17 percent of the respondents said no that time is not enough

to study the lessons that they want to study and 10 percent of the students answered that it depends

in the lesson that they need to study if it is easy or not.

In the graph of figure 4, it shows how the students of Accountancy, Business and

Management manage their time. 72 percent of the respondents said that they manage their time by

spending it to important things like studying. And the remaining 28 percent of the respondents said

that they manage their time by spending it to unimportant things like surfing to social media or

playing online games.

This fourth graph of figure 4, it presents the 83 percent of students of Accountancy,

Business and Management that said yes who thinks spending enough time to study certain lesson

will help them to get high grades. It also presents the 10 percent of the students who said no and 7

percent who said maybe.

In figure 5, it shows that 93 percent of the respondents from Accountancy, Business and

Management said that they will get high grades if they put so much time in studying a certain

lesson and 7 percent of the respondents said that they still get low grades even if they put much

time and efforts in studying.

The last graph in figure 6 shows that 80 percent of the students from Accountancy, Business

and Management get lower grades if they just put little time to study a lesson and 20 percent of

the student said that they still get high grades even if they just put a little time to study.
