LEARNING OUTLINES:
Review the characters and the story.
Pre Lesson
1. Elicits the four Super Friends and mime their special powers.
Present the picture story using video.
2. Elicits where the Super Friends are. (in the garden of a big old house)
3. Play the video. Pupils watch the video and find out who goes in (Misty) and the animals she
sees (a cat, spiders and rats).
Lesson Development
4. Play the video again. Pause after each frame to check comprehension.
5. Talk with class about the value (looking after your friends) and who does it (Misty in frame
2). Elicits what she says.
6. Play the video third time. Pupils listen and repeat.
Practise the story
7. Put pupils in group of four. Each pupil takes a role of one of the characters.
Post Lesson 8. Play the recording and pupils repeat in role.
9. Pupils practise role play in groups and volunteer group role play for the class.
10. Pupils are asked to complete Workbook p.74 as homework.
