The CT-2EA is energy meter for measuring kWh for three phase four wire LV
Electrical Network.
The Meter tested as per IEC 62053-21 & has passed following tests at
This meter is provided with RS485 serial link (2 wires) with MODBUS protocol to
reference conditions:

3. Select the device address of the CT-2EA for which the data is to be read
& the COM port to which it is connected.
4. Press 'Refresh'. All the data in the screen shall be updated. The following 3.2 Pulse Output :

Guide to CRC 16 calculation B. Push Button Mode:

Press “p ” or “▼” to go in Push Button Mode. The parameter in this mode

Programming: Communication
To access/view the programming mode: The MODBUS used by the CT-2EA involves a dialogue using a Master - Slave
structure. The mode of communication is the RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) using
Keys Instruction Display Comment hexadecimal characters of at least 8 bit.

Recommendation: Please use a shielded twisted pair cable for connection.

A repeater should be used if one intends to exceed the cable distance of 1200
meters.
