Computer Science Standard: 2.CS.D.01 Independently select and use a computing device to
perform a variety of tasks for an intended outcome.
Spanish Standard: Learners understand, interpret, and analyze what is heard, read, or viewed on
a variety of topics.
Objective/Purpose:
By the end of the lesson students will be able to identify the numbers 0-10 in Spanish at 100%
accuracy.
By the end of the unit students will be able to identify the numbers 0-100 in spanish at 100%
accuray. They will also be able to pronounce the numbers in Spanish using appropriate phonetic.
Students will also be able to ask and answer questions related to the numbers in an interpretive,
interpersonal, and presentational way.
Anticipatory Set :
We are going to excite our students by showing them a song about the numbers at the beginning
of the lesson. This will introduce them to the topic and get them excited about what we are going
to be learning during that day.
Model:
The teachers will introduce the subject in a fun and interactive way. The teacher will use a visual
display with sound, (a song - video) so that students can see and repeat the numbers, learn them,
and at the same time, practice pronunciation.
Guided Practice:
Check for Understanding: After practicing the numbers from the slideshow and the worksheet,
we will practice completing the Google form on the carpet as a class, together.
Closure: The teachers will use the “Exit Ticket” activity to finish the lesson for the day. The exit
ticket will consist of a number written on a piece of paper which students will have to hand out as
they leave the classroom, by saying the given number in correct Spanish.
