To dump pason data into LAS/Text File:

1. From Pason home screen, Select “Menu”

2. From the Main Menu page, Select the “Tools” button

3. From the Tools Menu Page, Select “Export”.

Do not use Data Push. This will produce the wrong type of data needed in the job
folder!!!

4. Once in export menu, select “Time Data”

 Depth data will produce the same information in a different format. Although this
is NOT the LAS needed for the job folder, depth tagged data can be used for
troubleshooting/gamma situations.

5. In the “Time Data” menu, Fill out the appropriate info and select export.

Note: Pason can only dump 100 hours of data at a time so multiple LAS files may need
to be created.

6. Save LAS file as XXXXXXX and copy to the job database folder, within the job
folder.

To Dump Data from MD Totco / NOV Rigsense:

1. From the EDR Home Screen, Select the “Tools” button from the menu on the left
hand side.

2. Once the tools menu is selected, Select “System Tools” from the sub menu on the
left side.
3. Select “Data Extract” from the menu in the middle of the screen.

4. When the following warning screen is produced, select “OK” to continue.

5. The data extraction menu should be displayed. Select the proper Start and Stop
Times.
6. Once the proper start/stop times are inputted, Select “Extract Channels/Units”.

7. Choose proper channels to export. Once the channels have been added to the
“Chanls to extract” column, select “Exit”

The final LAS produced for the Job Folder requires the following Channels:
o XXXXX
o XXXXX
o XXXX

8. Double check the start/stop time. Also make sure the Use LAS Format is selected
as well as the compress data.
9. Select “Extract”.

10. Once extraction is complete the follow message will be displayed.

11. Once the extraction is complete, Open up Window Search and Search for
“EDRExtractFolder”

12. Open up the extract folder and select the proper extract file. Rename the file,
XXXXX and Copy the file into the Job Database in your job folder.
