Tuesday 1/08 8 hours:


- Managed front desk responding to customer requests for information and assistance
- Completed miscellaneous tasks assisting HR staff
- Met with supervisor for bi-weekly check-in
- Created 2019 Union Rep availability calendar

Wednesday 1/09 8 hours:


- Managed front desk responding to customer requests for information and assistance

- Printed and compiled 100 copies of DPMAP training guides

Thursday 1/10 8 hours:


- Managed front desk responding to customer requests for information and assistance
- Completed miscellaneous tasks assisting HR staff
- Ran Length of Service (LOS) report from Total Workforce Management System (TWMS) for 2 nd
Quarter LOS certificate processing
- Compiled, formatted, and filtered LOS report in Excel using Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
and sent required emails to former military retirees to verify time served
- Updated NAVFAC HRO portal and created list of folder errors for HR staff

Tuesday 1/15 8 hours:


- Managed front desk responding to customer requests for information and assistance
- Completed miscellaneous tasks assisting HR staff
- Updated LOS report with retiree additional years of service from DD214 forms
- Printed all LOS reports and collected LOS pins
- Routed retirement plaque purchase order request to HR Director, Financial Management, and
Command Services

Wednesday 1/16 8 hours:


- Managed front desk responding to customer requests for information and assistance
- Completed miscellaneous tasks assisting HR staff
- Received training on internal document storage system (TRIM)
- Uploaded LER case files to TRIM with proper naming and note conventions
- Began compiling DPMAP training survey results into Excel spreadsheet for review

Thursday 1/17: Bereavement Leave 7 Hours


Tuesday 1/22 8 hours:
- 3 hours: Updated DPMAP Tracking Spreadsheet with performance appraisal establishment dates for
NAVFAC NW employees

- 3 hours: Printed remaining LOS certificates after gathering employee information, created tracking
number from database, wrote CO letter with Excel spreadsheet table, double-checked for accuracy
and routed all documents to Command Services for CO signature
- Miscellaneous tasks assisting HR staff

Wednesday 1/23 8 hours:


- Updated DPMAP Tracker spreadsheet
- Ordered Retirement plaques
- Assisted employee with finding information regarding Military time buyback, and Temporary
Civilian time buyback
- Uploaded LER documents into TRIM

Thursday 1/24 8 hours:


- Created Excel spreadsheet for DPMAP training survey data and inputted all question data for 73
responses. Calculated positive response averages for each question and compiled all qualitative
responses
- Updated DPMAP tracker spreadsheet
- Created questions for Union Rep interview
- Processed monetary, time-off, and on the spot rewards

Tuesday 1/29 8 hours:


- Met with Union Representative for interview
- Picked up completed retirement plaques
- Assisted employee with retirement paperwork and submission of proper materials
- Miscellaneous tasks for HR staff

Wednesday 1/30 8 hours:


- Processed monetary, time-off, and on the spot rewards
- Researched possibilities for new vendor for plaques due to current vendor closing business
- Updated DPMAP tracking spreadsheet
- Got stuck waiting around for a computer fix

Thursday 1/31 8 hours:


- Collected and taped up burn bags, loaded into van, and took them to lower-base for shredding
- Updated DPMAP tracker spreadsheet
- Met with Michael to discuss his experience with unions on the side of management
- Began compiling LOS certificates for guard mail

Tuesday 2/5 8 hours:


- 2 hour LER team meeting – took meeting notes
- Prepared all LOS certificates for mailing to supervisors, this included drafting and sending an email
notice to every supervisor to let them know that they would be receiving this and placing all
certificates into designated folders, and placing them into guard mail with an address label
- Updated DPMAP tracker

Wednesday 2/6 8 hours:


- Did a walkthrough with CIO coworker to evaluate current NMCI port placement and where ones
may need to be added after HRO remodel
- Typed and cleaned up meeting minutes from yesterday’s meeting and sent to Laura for approval
- Sought out and met with a new plaque vendor in Bremerton as the one we used locally in Silverdale
is going out of business (arranged this all by myself which is awesome)
- Updated Retirement Recognition SOP with Evergreen Trophies information
- Responded to and forwarded emails in the HR inbox
- Began drafting SOP for HR Inbox operations

Thursday 2/7: Took 4 Hours Paid Leave


- Started retirement package for soon to be retiring employee
- Updated DPMAP tracker sheet
- Continued working on HR Inbox SOP

Tuesday 2/12: 8 Hours Admin Leave


Wednesday 2/13: 3 Hours Admin Leave
- Scanned LER documents into T-drive for dropping into Trim
- Printed a retirement letter and certificate and routed for XO signature
- Did portal stuff for an hour to no avail

Thursday 2/14 8 Hours:


- Applied for and went through process of getting a situational ad-hoc telework agreement set up
- Filled out and submitted timecard and leave request form
- Spent at least 4 or 5 hours trying to update the portal with missing documents
- Collected materials and printed certificate for XO signature for employee meritorious award
- Miscellaneous tasks for HR Staff

Tuesday 2/19 8 Hours:


- Took materials to Michaels to get framed
- Spent 4 hours attempting to do work with someone else’s computer at a different workstation
while my computer pushed a Windows 10 update. This took literally all day.
- Pulled some data for HR Specialists on FY18 and FY19 Employee Relations, Grievances, and Official
Notification cases
- Rerouted retirement letter with edits for letterhead printing and XO signature
- Went through HR Inbox and moved/forwarded/responded to emails

Wednesday 2/20 8 Hours:


- 2 hours spent waiting for computer to function properly
- Assisted employee by providing information regarding Military Buy Back
- Checked the HR Inbox
- Updated DPMAP Tracker

Thursday 2/21 7 hours:
- 1 hour LWOP taken from 0800-0900
- Emailed Outage Notification senders to redirect Outage Notifications to the specified Outage email
inbox
- Counted all LOS pins and all LOS certificates
- Printed OnBoarding packets for Monday’s session
- Miscellaneous tasks for HR Specialists

Tuesday 2/26 8 hours:


- Updated DPMAP tracker
- Went through HR Inbox and answered/forwarded emails to appropriate team members
- Learned how to properly fill out Purchase Requests for different funding groups (NWCF and GF)
- Drafted Retirement Plaque Purchase Request and emailed to HR Director for signature
- Drafted LOS certificate Purchase Request and emailed to HR Director for signature
- Worked on retirement packages and routed required documents for signature
- Miscellaneous tasks for HR Specialists

Wednesday 2/27 8 hours:


- Updated Monetary Awards Log
- Workload update meeting with Laura
- Made edits and submitted the HR corner to POA
- Processed parts of retirement packages for future retirees

Thursday 2/28 8 hours:


- Pulled list from T-Drive of 4th, 1st, and 2nd quarter award winners
- Processed retirement plaque PRs
- Processed quarterly award plaque PRs
- Edited and routed retirement CO letter for signature
- Updated Staffing documents on the HR Portal
- Updated Monetary Awards Log and emailed employee supervisors information regarding their
employee’s awards processing

Tuesday 3/5 8 hours:


- Looked up information on Military Spouse Preference for hiring for employee
- Went through HR Inbox and moved/forwarded/responded to outstanding emails]
- Registered for Drug Free Workplace Coordinator training
- Assisted employees with finding information regarding their inquiries (this usually involves
searching the internet for helpful links and possible forms)

Wednesday 3/6 8 hours:


- Updated Monetary Awards Log
- Continued the routing of PRs
- Updated retirement workload tracker with new retirees and their retirement information from
TWMS
- Assisted FEHB employees with applying for BAVR Badge access for health fair
- Started making fliers for the FEHB health fair
