Committee Goals 1. Develop and implement a scope
and sequence for teaching
computer skills and digital
citizenship district wide.
2. Align and organize all district
curriculum to the current Nebraska
College and Career Readiness
Standards.
3. Provide teachers with a minimum
of one technology in-service per
school year to increase
implementation of classroom
technology.

scope and sequence for
teaching computer skills and
digital citizenship district
wide.
❏ Our school board has adopted the Nebraska
K-12 Technology Scope and Sequence and
Standards provided by the Nebraska
Department of Education.
❏ Our Elementary site, grades K-6, has
implemented the curriculum Keyboarding
Without Tears to teach keyboarding,
computer skills, and digital citizenship.
❏ Computer Applications is a junior high
requirement and covers Nebraska Standards
in grades seven and eight.
❏ Information Technology Applications I and II
are high school requirements and cover
Nebraska Standards in grades nine through
twelve.
2. Align and organize all district ❏ This committee has created a Google

teachers and administrators in our

folders. All classes taught at Central
Valley have been aligned to Nebraska

and curriculum maps have been
uploaded in to the Team Drive.

time and paid out of contract to align
standards.
