game with a six as Chennai Super Kings beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bangalore.
Chasing a target of 207, CSK were 74/4 and were struggling. MS Dhoni then joined Ambati
Rayudu and shared a 101-run stand. Rayudu was dismissed for 82 but Dhoni made sure CSK
become the first team to chase down the 200-plus total twice this season. Chennai Super
Kings had won the toss to put RCB in to bat. Playing at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB
started by losing Virat Kohli early but AB de Villiers and Quinton de Kock picked up without
much fuss. They scored 68 and 53 respectively in a rapidfire partnership which left CSK
without an answer. Thereafter, RCB lose three quick wickets before Mandeep Singh turned
things around with a cameo. RCB’s late push was thwarted by Dwayne Bravo and dismal
running between the wickets. However, RCB did enough to score 205/8 and give the
second-placed team in the IPL table a stiff target to chase down.

India opener KL Rahul has been in scintillating form since the beginning of IPL 2018.
However, when Rahul made his Test debut in Australia on Boxing Day in 2014, it was
became an occasion to forget as he could only score 3 and 1 in two innings. The initial slump
left the 26-year-old in distress but he found a comforting soul in skipper Virat Kohli and the
then girlfriend Anushka Sharma. In a recent chat show titled Open House with Renil, Rahul
revealed that it was Virat and Anushka who invited him for a dinner date on New Year’s eve
to lift up his spirits. Recalling his experience on how the two helped him overcome the
rough patch early on in his career Rahul went on to acknowledge till date he shares a good
rapport with the power couple.

“There was one instance after a match at Melbourne where I had a terrible performance. I
was miserable and depressed. Anushka, who noticed this, came up to my room and asked
me to accompany her and Virat to their dinner date. The couple talked me through their
similar experiences and that helped me understand how to manage these situations better,”
Rahul recalled.

“They took immense care of me and ensured I was not alone. They even made sure I spent
the new year night with them. They are an amazing couple and have really had a powerful
influence on me,” he added.

“It was nice of Anushka to do it as I didn’t know how she could understand what I was going
through. We still stay in touch and exchange a few messages, although Anushka’s are about
my dog mostly,” he further added.

KL Rahul will be embark for the England tour with the Indian team on Saturday.

(17)
Upstairs at SuperSport Park, the former South Africa greats stood up for the champion. Virat
Kohli had just sauntered to his third hundred in this six-match ODI series; fourth of the tour.
A gorgeous straight drive against Imran Tahir took the India captain to three figures, his 35th
ODI century, off just 82 balls. Kohli punched the air and thumped his chest before getting
down to business.

He was once again resplendent in another Indian victory, remaining unbeaten on 129 off 96
balls, with 19 fours and two sixes. In an unbroken 126-run third wicket partnership between
him and Ajinkya Rahane, the latter’s contribution was 34 not out off 50 balls. But Rahane
was in the box seat to watch Kohli’s genius. Together they took India to an eight-wicket
victory with 107 deliveries to spare. The scoreline read: 5-1.

International hundreds have now become almost a routine for Kohli. He finished the ODI
series with 558 runs in six matches to walk away with the Man of the Match and the Man of
the Series awards. But spare a thought for the bowlers, who laid the foundation for this
success.

On January 5 at Cape Town, Jasprit Bumrah made his Test debut and took to the long form
like a duck to water. On February 16 at Centurion, Shardul Thakur played his first ODI in
South Africa – only two 50-over internationals in Sri Lanka previously – and returned with
four wickets to roll over the Saffers’ batting.

In between, the Indian bowling accounted for 113 South African scalps, bundling the hosts
out in 10 innings. South Africa were all out four times in the ODI series. On Friday, in the
final game at Centurion, they slid from 135/3 at one stage to fold up for 204 in 46.5 overs. If
the ODIs against India marked the beginning of South Africa’s Vision 2019 project with an
eye to the next year’s World Cup, then their young batting group has had a rough initiation.
“Back to the drawing board,” South Africa’s stand-in captain Aiden Markram said.

<H1 align="center"><b>SMRITI MANDHANA IN BRILLIANT FORM</b></h1>

<br><br><br><br><br><br><br>

(19)
Smriti Mandhana has made minced meat of opposition bowling attacks in the KIA T20
League so far. The Indian opener has thus far scored 338 runs in six innings at an average of
85. But, Mandhana feels that this is only the beginning for her and she hopes to keep up this
form while playing for India too. “I believe that my best is yet to come, and I’ve to keep
improving myself and keep pushing myself and not be complacent. Scoring runs for my
country and being consistent is what I always aspire to do,” she is quoted as saying by TOI.

Mandhana said that a minor change in grip has helped her go on the current spree. “This
has helped me in achieving good and consistent form since that time,” she said. Smriti’s
exploits have included a 61-ball 102. It was her first ton in T20 cricket and an innings that
she said is special to her. “I never expected myself to be leading across so many different
stats on the batting chart in the tournament,” she said. “However, I’m the happiest when
the team wins. Personal performance is always secondary.”

Mandhana’s good form bodes well for India who are preparing for the 2018 T20 World Cup
that starts on November 9 in West Indies. India’s opening match will be against New
Zealand. “I will try my best there. Our team is working hard towards it, and the BCCI has
really helped us in organizing preparatory camps and tours, which is providing us with
enough match practice. These tours and camps help us assess our strengths and weakness,
and plan accordingly for the T20 World Cup.”

county cricket bandwagon as he is set to play six Championship (first class) matches for
Durham in August.

(21)
Axar thus becomes the fourth India player after skipper Virat Kohli (Surrey), Cheteshwar
Pujara (Yorkshire) and Ishant Sharma (Sussex) to decide to play county cricket. Even out of
favour fast bowler Varun Aaron will turn up for Leicestershire for a few games.

ndia's limited overs specialist will play at a time when the national team will engage in a Test
series, starting 1 August.

Axar is unlikely to be in contention for a berth in Test squad unless Ravindra Jadeja is ruled
out.

According to Durham club's official website, Axar will make his County debut on 19 August
against Glamorgan in an away game at SWALEC ground in Swansea.

This will be followed by matches against Northamptonshire, Sussex, Middlesex,

Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

"Thanks a lot @DurhamCricket for the welcome. Look forward to my first experience in
County cricket," Axar tweeted.

The 24 year old Axar has so far played 38 ODIs and 11 T20 Internationals, taking 45 and 9
wickets respectively.

In the longer format, he has played 23 first class matches, taking 79 wickets and scoring

CHAPTER-4
SUMMARY CONCLUSION AND FUTURE
SCOPE
CONCLUSION:

The project plays an important role in management education where students get a
golden opportunity to apply his knowledge and learning gained from classroom lectures
in practical business environment. The SIP program also helps in gaining knowledge
and developing the confidence level to work. I have also learnt a lot by building this
website by realising what a user actually wants from a good website where his/her
particular needs will be fulfilled.

I would like to conclude that this static website is created in order to see how a website can
be created and how various tags and attributes that we have learnt in HTML can be utilized in
creating an actual website. This website is made to provide all the information which is
related to cricket to the users. This website has given the member complete knowledge on
how the static web pages can be created using HTML. The purpose of providing convenience
to the users in terms of cricket news is fulfilled.

(51)
FUTURE SCOPE :

This website is static but it can be converted into a dynamic website and many other features
can be added to this site like advertisements, by adding various pop ups in the form of
advertisements this site can be commercialized and it can prove a great competitor for
websites like ‘cricbuzz’ app. As of now this website is just related to providing all he
information which is related to cricket to the users but future it can include various other
events such as online ticket booking for watching the matches live in stadium. The website
could take part in various CSR activities when it has achieved a certain position in the
market.
