past years to give you a taste of how your actual internship
will look like and how you need to prepare for the same
Consumer Behaviour

Project :

Consumer Behavior analysis and Brand mapping


• You need to conduct market survey on consumer experience,
preferences, and buying behavior among end users
• You need to handle “X” seasonal scheme by showing product demos
and inform customers with scheme benefits.
• You need to do analysis of brand position w.r.t competitors using SPSS
(Correspondence analysis) and Excel.
• You need to maintain and developed relationship with existing retailers
and add more retailers in the 3M network
Market Research

Project :

Consumer Activation for the X Program with the Architectural Solutions

• You need to identify channel partners for a systematic penetration.
• You need to analyze the competitor landscape and the associated
challenges with the channels.
• You need to analyze the purchasing behavior of end consumers and
identify ways to capture their mind share.
• You need to pitch ideas that facilitate channel efficiencies
GTM Strategy

Project :
Redefine the product strategy for X product
• You need to conduct surveys with 400 retailer, 200 shopper and 300
consumer across Delhi, Kerala and Chennai to identify key insights
• You need to determine the key consumer demand drivers, shopper
behavior & usage benefits for X product
• You need to come up with a value proposition and draft communication
strategy accordingly
• You need to suggest new strategy & ideas for Brand promotion and
channels
Market assessment
This is a project from a different company under the same sector to
give you more perspective

Project :
Responsible for Prepaid Data (Usage & Retention) across 6 telecom circles
• You need to devise & implement 6 critical criterions to identify cities
with highest potential & opportunity in the 5 states
• You need to do market research & survey of 51 imaging centers in 13
cities in 5 states for collecting data on 5 parameters.
• You need to prepared a financial model to calculate the financial
viability of opening up centers in these locations.
• You need to recommend strategy for opening of centers in a 3 phases in
8 cities with projected revenue of X USD
GTM
This is a project from a different company under the same sector to
give you more perspective

Project :

Responsible for establishment of Channel, Team and Business for X


product
• You need to develop a channel & go-to Market Strategy for 4 states
• You need analyze town-wise population data to devise a focus cities
sales plan and product launch strategy for 4 states.
• You need to setup a sales team by interviewing and on boarding 8 sales
officers and including them in Y business.
• You need to launch a new product line via dealer meets in 8 cities
