 The teacher himself is an important factor in the failure or success of the learner.
 The personality of the teacher is an important element in the total teaching
situation as such should be favorable to the cultural growth of the pupils.
 Physical Nature is inherited while dynamic interest can be nurture and trained.
According to Dr. Brenda Corpuz (2006)
 Teachers are judged more strictly than other professionals. The personality they
project determines the impressions they make upon students and colleagues. Their
poise, bearing, manner of dressing and facial expressions have an impact on their
interaction with students.

“The supreme value of a teacher is not in the regular performance of routine duties,
but in his power to lead and to inspire his students through the influence of his own
mental personality and example.”
--The late President Elliot of Harbard University
