Lived in experience of students bullied in school

Introduction

According to the consolidated report of Department of Education ( DEP


ED ), bullying cases on elementary and high school of both private and public
schools on 2014 rose by 21% or a total of 6.363 cases, compare with the 5.236
on 2013. This translate to 31 daily bullying cases from divisor of 201 school days.
The statistics was disclosed by Rep. Gerald Anthony Gullas Jr. a member of the
house committee on basic education.(source: Interaction)

Bullying is an ongoing and deliberate misuse of power in relationships


through repeated verbal. physical and/or social behavior that intends cause
physical. Social and/or psychological harm. It can involve an individual or a group
misusing their power, or perceived power, over one or more persons who feel
unable to stop it from happening

Bullying can happen in person or online, Via VARIONS digital platforms


and devices and It can be obvious (covert) or hidden (covert). Bullying behavior
is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time (for example, through
sharing of digital records.)

Bullying of any form or for any reason can have immediate, medium and
long-term effects on those involved, including by standers. Single incidents and
conflict or fights between equals. Whether in person or online, are not defined as
bullying.
Experienced bullied in school is great challenge to survive living. The
researchers would like to know how they suffer problem like this therefore, it is
with great enthusiasm that the researchers would like to investigate on the lived
in experiences of student bullied in school.

Specifically, the researchers would like to seek answer on the following


questions.

A. How the bully affects their lifestyle?

B. Do you commit suicide when you experience bully?

Research Design

The researchers study is a qualitative study, qualitative research is a


process of naturalistic inquiry that seeks in depth understanding of social
phenomena with in “why” rather than the “what” of social phenomena and relies
on the direct experiences of human being as a meaning. Making agents in their
everyday lives. Rather than by logical and statistical procedures qualitative
researchers use multiple systems of inquiry for the study of human phenomena
included biography, case study, historical analysis ethography, grounded theory
and phenomenology. The researchers choose qualitative study because
naturalistic.

Population and local of the study

The researchers conducted their study at tondo high school with


approximately fifteen (15) students. Because the school only has few sections.

The group conducted their study at toondo high school to be able to get
survey.

Data Gathering

The primary tools in this study was a questionnaire through paper and
pen. To determine the lived iin experienced of student’s bullied in school.
